The name of Sultan, king of Great Saracenia, is self-explaining, even if new to text traditions concerning Trojan War. Močuľskij (1893:375) interpreted the appearance of Sultan as another influence of the Legend of Diogenēs Akritēs, as the name is similar to that of "King Amir" (Amēras), mentioned above in connection to king Amor.
