| 33: | zašto nikoi pot ni sa molite bogu | because you never pray |
| 34: | ni slušete što vi uči xristos ut sfeto eѵaggeliu | nor do you listen to what Christ teaches you in the holy Gospel |
| 35: | ami xodite bis strax božii | but rather you go without the fear of God |
| 36: | tešku i korku vam šte da bide na vašia umiranie | it will be hard and bitter for you, when you will be dying |
| 37: | sekii den davate na diavola vaši te reči grešni xurati i zborovi | every day you give the Devil (his due) with your sinful words |

| 42: | taka diavola t tarči i xodi pu čeloveci te skoru da xmi varze umuve te | thus also the Devil runs and walks around the people to chain their minds |
| da ni puznavat tvoi te grexove | so that they don't know your (?) sins | |
| 43: | mlogu sa raduva diavola t za tie čeloveci kutri ni mislet grexove te i umiral | the Devil rejoices much about those people, who don't think (about their) sins and death |
| 44: | toi koitu umira bes pokaenie tešku i korku tem | it is hard and bitter to them, who die(s?) without repenting |
| 45: | sički sfetci bili čisti kato aggeli | all the saints were pure as angels |
| 46: | den i noš sa molili na boga | they prayed for the day and night to God |
| 47: | siga legnat | now they lay down |
| 48: | i stanat kato dubitaci i katu konie | and they become like cattle and horses |
| 49: | ni sa prikarstuvat | they don't cross themselves |

| 54: | ta ni videt pot božii | so that they don't see the way of God |
| 55: | edni sa storili slugi izmetkere na diavola | some have become servants of the Devil |
| 56: | ni slušet što xi uči xristos | they don't hear, what the Christ teaches them |
| a što xi uči diavola t | but rather what Devil teaches them | |
| 57: | xodet pu baiki i po maiki | they go to diviners and mothers (?) |
| 58: | ox | oh |
| 59: | beziumni i muže i ženi si kupiuvat sami večna maka | mindless men and woman buy their own eternal torment |
| 60: | sami flizat faf ogane t | they enter the fire by themselves |
| 61: | ni videt si te[i] sfeti što imali strax ut boga i plakali | they don't see all the saints, who feared God and cried |
| 62: | a sigašni xristiane ime božii xulet | and the contemporary Christians blaspheme about the name of God |
| 63: | i sfeto kraštenie ispuganili sas prokleto bianie i magii | and they paganized their baptism with accursed divination and magic |
| 64: | sami sa pridavat na diavola | they gave themselves over to the Devil by themselves |
| 65: | ox | oh |

| 67: | vie ste pluvare na diavola kuga ste sa krastili | you spat at the Devil as you baptized yourself |
| 68: | a siga pak sa puklanete na diavola sas banie i sas magii | and now, you bow to the Devil again with divination and magic |
| 69: | tie rabotat na diavola t | these work for the Devil |
| 70: | i činat xusmet na satana | and they make service to Satan |
| 71: | kuga sa krastili činili nixnu tu si nivesti xrista | when they were baptized, they made their (soul) a bride for the Christ |
| 72: | tie učinili texni duši nivesti na diavola | these made their souls brides for the Devil |
| 73: | siga sa slepi xristiane te | now the Christians are blind |
| 74: | zašto ni xi učet popuve te | because their priests don't teach them |
| 75: | na nix vika prorok isaie | prophet Isaiah calls to them: |
| 76: | gore gore | ʺwoe, woeʺ |
| 77: | skrišna zrašte pot božii | ʺyou hide while looking at the way of Godʺ |
| 78: | i prorok isaie vika | and prophet Isaiah calls: |
| 79: | sa prostil ot piansfo pastiri te | ʺlet (?) the shepherds will be freed of drinkingʺ |
| 80: | i prorok ieremie vika | and prophet Jeremiah calls: |
| 81: | gore vam bodat pastiri te i že pogupleiot i rastuzaot ofci | ʺwoe to you, o shepherds, who waste and scatter (my) sheepʺ |
| 82: | pastire moi zimat volna i maslu | ʺmy shepherds take the wool and fatʺ |
| 83: | i ofci moi ni gi pasat | ʺand they don't bring my sheep to pasturesʺ |
| 84: | edna aku zagine ot vas štai da e pusakat taka glagolat adonai gospot eloi savaod | ʺif one is lost, they let it soʺ ʺthus speaks Adonai, the Lord, Eloi Sabaothʺ |
| 86: | a sega ima dve vrata otvoreni | and now they have two doors open |
| 87: | koi deka saka tamu flezue | he who wants, enters |
| 88: | vrata sa kazuva vera | this door is called faith |
| 89: | ami takava vera koi ni miluva ništu u tvoi vek | but (it is) such faith, which does not love anything of this age |
| 90: | tie ni možat da flezat na boži rai | those ones cannot enter the God's Paradise |
| 91: | taka kazuva | thus he (?) speaks: |
| 92: | koi miluva neštu u tvoi vek tie ni možet da flezat na boži rai | ʺhe, who loves something of this age, those cannot enter the God's Paradiseʺ (?) |
| 93: | zašto sa dušmane bogu | because they are enemies of God |
| 94: | zašto ima čeliuveci da gu imat kato čuždu | because there are men, who have it (?) like something alien |
| 95: | zašto aku na duše e ium | because the mind is the eye of the soul |
| 96: | aku ium misli stoka i pari | (and) if the mind thinks (only) about wares and money |
| koi tuva misli tie čiuveci sa slepi | he, who thinks so, those people are blind | |
| 97: | ium nixni slep | their mind is blind |
| 98: | i komu mu xodi tamu | and whose (mind) goes there? |
| 99: | i vam popomu zli grešni | yours too, of a bad and sinful priest! (?) |
| 100: | tugaf duša e vorzana u temnici strašni | then the soul is bound in terrible dungeons |
| 101: | i pak kazuva | and again, He says: |
| 102: | žena tfoe katu luze ploduvita | ʺyour wife is like a fruitful vineyardʺ |
| 103: | tu e plot na duše aku ima misli božii i dubri | that is the fruit of soul, if it has divine and good thoughts |
| 104: | zašto misle se božii | because these thoughts are God's (?) |
| 105: | a pomisle se diavulcku | and (bad) ideas are devilish |
| 106: | koi ima misli dubri i blagi tie sa misli za pukaenie | for one having good thoughts, these thoughts are for repentance |
| 107: | zad zaradi drugu ni misli | he does not think of anything else |
| 108: | a koi ima pomisli toi misli za tvoi vek za stoka i za pari | and he, who has (devilish) ideas, thinks of this age, of wares and money |
| 109: | tie ni[ko]i pot ni sa gotovi za umiralka | these are never (ʺno way/timeʺ) ready for death |
| 110: | tie sa delek pot zemle zatvoreni u temnici strašni | these are for a long way closed in the earth, in terrible dungeons |
| 111: | da misli sekii čuvek kato šte da umre | let every human thinks about how he will die |
| 112: | tie sa misli blagi | these thoughts are good |
| 113: | tie misli čuvat duši ut grešni pomisli | these thoughts protect the souls from sinful ideas |
| 114: | tugava misli kato carcku voinu | then he thinks as a royal soldier |
| 115: | i čiuvat sfoi gospuža duša | and guards his lady the soul |
| 116: | zatuva trebuva sekii čiuvek da e karavul na ium | for that reason, let every human be on guard for his mind |
| 117: | da tarči imot | let he endlessly works on his treasure (?) |
| 118: | da ni gu puska da xodi pu grešni pomisli | let he never lets it go about to sinful ideas |
| 119: | zašto ium zašto sekii čas xodi | because the mind moves every time |
| 120: | ama ako xodi taka xodi | and it goes as it goes |
| 121: | ako gu darži saipie | if he holds it as a landlord |
| 122: | ta da mu dade rabuta | then it gives him work |
| 123: | tuva e blagi misli da sa moli bogu | this is (to have) good thoughts, to pray to God |
| 124: | a koi ni sa molet bogu ami mislet za tvoi vek tugaf nixni ium ne zasužten xodi po loši i grešni pomisli | and who does not pray to God, but he thinks about this age, then their mind goes unprotected (?) on bad and sinful ideas |
| 125: | ium ta vodi i aggeli i diavoli | the mind is led by both angels and devils (?) |
| 126: | rekal | (he?) said: |
| 127: | ideže est sokrovište vaša tamu bodet i sarce tu vaša | ʺwhere is your treasure, there will be your heart tooʺ (?) |
| 128: | taka kazuva | thus (he?) says: |
| 129: | deka čuveka t ium tamu i duše ta | ʺwhere is the mindʺ ʺthere is the soulʺ |
| 130: | a darži ium u sebe da ne ma grešni pomisli | thus hold the mind close, so that it does not have sinful ideas |
| 131: | takava duše blizu pri boga | such soul is close to God |
| 132: | a aku ni darži ium ot grešni pomisli tugaf duša sama i gola | and if the mind is not held away from the sinful ideas, the soul is alone and naked |
| 133: | ne ma koi da e čiuva | there is no one to protect it |
| 134: | sme dalžni da tarpime zašto ni doide boles ili siromaštie | we have to suffer, because (when?) an illness or poverty comes |
| 135: | i da ni xulet ime božii | and we should not blame the name of God |
| 136: | prašta bog na čiuveci kazep | God sends toil to men |
| 137: | zašto koga ni gu nakaže bog tešku nemu | because when God does not make them suffer, it is hard for them |
| 138: | tie sa deleku ut boga | they are far away from God |
| 139: | blaze na sirumasi i na bolni | blessed are the poor and the ill! |
| 140: | i mlogu śtrasnu na bogati i na zdravi | and woe to the rich and healthy! |
| 141: | onii deleku stoet ot utečenie božii | they stand far away from seeking refuge at God |
| 142: | pervu vreme bili zuzdu čudni xristiane | in the beginning, the Christians were wonderful |

| 145: | zatuva ustavili i slatki rabuti ut soe sfet | for that reason they left the sweetness of this world |
| 146: | i sa učinili pustini | and they became desert (hermits) |
| 147: | kam ikonii mislili | they thought towards icons |
| 148: | aku beše iuzeli ne bi mogali da si učiuvat duši te ut grexove | if they would take (husbands or wives), they would not be able to protect their souls from sins |
| 149: | zašto imali | because they had (wealth?) |
| 150: | i ustavili | and they left (it?) |
| 151: | i utišli pu guri i pu planini goli i bosi i gladni i žedni | and they went to forests and mountains, naked and barefoot and hungry and thirsty |
| 152: | i žaveli pri strašni arslani i pri liuti zmii i pri ludi zveruve | and they lived next to terrible lions and fierce snakes and mad beasts |
| 153: | a bili edni ot nix carcki čeda | and there were royal children among them |

| 156: | sekii den bili gladni i žedni i goli kato ut maika rudeni | every day they were hungry and thirsty and naked as they were born from their mother |
| 157: | i ut gulem zaxmet bili kato umreli | and because of hard work they were like dead |
| 158: | ami bili čisti kato aggeli | but they were pure as angels |

| 198: | taka štai da uživeet tamu na onii vek | thus they will arise there, in the next age |
| 199: | i dana kažime | may we say |
| 200: | siga vikat čiuveci | now the people say: |
| 201: | ni e tešku ut vergia ta | ʺwe suffer from the taxesʺ |
| 202: | da puznaime parvu i čištu | let us know the first and pure (ones)! |
| 203: | da ne xulime ime božii | let us not blaspheme the name of God! |
| 204: | kutro e po tešku dali vergie ili luti makoi | which is worse, the tax or fierce torment? |

| 212: | ama tie sfetci ut teški makoi peli pesni božii | but those saints sang songs of God from those hard tortures |
| 213: | ama tie xristiane imali i nosili u texni usta nixno sorce ime xristovu | but those Christians had and carried in their mouths and hearts the name of Christ |
| 214: | neprestano činali | they prayed (ʺdidʺ) perpetually: |

| 216: | onii sekii čas xrista molii | they prayed to Christ in every hour |

| 218: | xrista vikali | they called the Christ |
| 219: | i xrista molili | and they prayed to Christ for that |
| 220: | zatuva i xristos u texni duši sidel | and the Christ sat at their souls |
| 221: | i na živu xristos im dal sila i krepost | and the Christ gave them strength and sturdiness |
| 222: | onii da bexa ni molili na xrista sekii čas ne bi mogali da pritarpet tolkuva liuti mokoi | if they did not pray to Christ everytime, they would not be able to suffer so fierce torments |
| 223: | zatuva ne verni te xi farleli na ogan da izguret | for that reason they threw the believers to fire to burn |
| 224: | a ogan ne mogal da xi izgureva | but the fire could not burn them |
| 225: | i otrova ne mogala da xi utrovuva | and the poison could not poison them |
| 226: | i liuti zmii ne mogali da xi ugrižet | and the fierce snakes could not bite them |
| 227: | o lele vera kolku e silna i molenie boga i čistu živenie | oh, how strong is the faith, and the prayer to God, and pure life |
| 228: | ama tie xristiane nikoi pot ne sa ubivali | but those Christians were never killing (?) |
| 229: | i ne sa upivali pieni | they never drunk (so much as to) be drunk |
| 230: | i nikoi pot ne peli pesni diavolcki | and they never sung devilish songs |

| 236: | ami peat pesni diavolcki | but they sing devilish songs |
| 237: | i sa raduva diavola t sas texni te duši | and the Devil rejoices about their souls |
| 238: | i ni sa legali sas ženi te si vrut dene te | and (the early Christians) did not lay with their wives every day |
| 239: | i čistu živeli katu aggeli | they lived purely as angels |

| 255: | aku bes izin gospodof ni može diavol da fleze na sfinie tu to xič ni može da fleze faf košta i faf dom božii | if a devil cannot enter a swine without the Lord's permit, the less can it enter a house of God |
| 256: | nie sički xristiane sme v domuve i košti božii | we all Christians are in the house of God |
| 257: | zašto sme zali snaga i korf xristova | because we have taken the body and blood of Christ |
| 258: | ni može diavol da fleze pri xrista | the Devil cannot enter next to Christ |
| 259: | ni može diavol da fleze na veran čilek na veran xristian | the Devil cannot enter a faithful man, a faithful Christian |
| 260: | žif e xristos ako i zilek | the Christ is alive |

| 278: | taka kazuva | thus he says: |
| 279: | koi ima strax ut diavola boga ne mat tie čeluveci | ʺthose people have no God, who fear the Devilʺ (?) |

| 285: | i kuga umrat ni sa gospotcki | and when they die, they are not Lord's |
| 286: | zašto ne imali strax ot boga | because they did not have fear of God |
| 287: | ami sa bueli ut diavul | but they feared the Devil |
| 288: | i taka pisa bratie xristiane | and thus he (John?) wrote, o Christian brothers |
| 289: | da sa priučevate na diavulu | may you learn about the Devil |
| 290: | i toi štai da pubegne ut vas | and he will ran from you |

| 298: | i šte da ni utnese tamo na strašen sodia iisusa xrista | and it will carry us there, to the terrible judgement of Jesus Christ |
| 299: | toi tamu ni sa izmoliuva | He is not merciful there |
| 300: | a udve dukati sme živi e mlogu milustif | only as long as we are alive He is merciful |
| 301: | i pruštava sekomu sički te grexove | and He forgives all the sins to everyone |
| 302: | i taka rekal xristos | thus the Christ said: |
| 303: | sički te xristiane i moži i ženi da imat na imot | ʺmay all the Christians, men and women alike, have a chanceʺ (?) |
| 304: | i tuva da mislet | and may they think |
