3:	tóaı sfetı´ prorók daniíl vı´de ná śtrásnu sadóviaı góspodova ta,	thus saw the Holy Prophet Daniel at the terrible Judgement of the Lord
4:	taká kázvase	thus he spoke:
5:	vı´dex vetxagu ténmi dóndıze prośtóli pośtávisa se	ʺI saw the Ancient of days, as the thrones were setʺ
6:	i sédi privétzaa ná prośtóli ognınom	ʺand the Eternal One sat on the throne flaming with fireʺ
7:	otkoló i negó tmámi tém i aggeli i arxánggeli, sluzéxum emú sós śtráxom	ʺand around him hundreds of thousands angels and archangels served him with fearʺ
8:	ѵ potétze reká ognena.	ʺand a river of flame flowedʺ
9:	táe reká vrí śtrásnu	ʺthe river is boiling horriblyʺ
10:	i klokóti	ʺand it bloatsʺ
11:	táe śte da zavletzé grésnı te u vétzna móka da sa mótzet sás dıávole,	ʺthis (river) will bring the sinners to the eternal torment, to be tormented by the devilsʺ
12:	toé sfetı´ prorók danıíl ut tová vidénıe mlógu sa uplásil	when this saint Prophet Daniel saw this vision, he became scared very much
13:	zaśtó vídel kakvó śté da púde śtrásen sút pózii	because he saw what is going to be (at) the terrible Judgement of God
14:	i mlógu imál śtráx	and he had feared a lot
15:	i plákal ot tová śtrásen vidénıe,†	and he cried because of that terrible vision
16:	imálw tová vréme tzár né véran,	there was a faithless king in that time
17:	toé tzár néśtu mu sa evílu ut karés na tógu sfetágw proróka danıíla	this king had (ʺappeared to himʺ) some malice towards this saint Prophet Daniel
18:	i gu farlí na arsláne te zíf da gu izedat	and he threw him to lions, so that they eat him alive
19:	o lele tzúdu dívnu i mlógu gulému	oh, look! (what a) wondrous and very great miracle!
20:	takı´va arsláne śtrásni, i u trı´ dni gládni,	such terrible lions, (held) hungry for three days!
21:	amí mu sa pukluníli	but they bowed to him
22:	i nugí te mu lízali	and they licked his legs
23:	i krótki mu sa utziníli katu oftzá ná uftzér	and they became tame as sheep to a shepherd
24:	glédaite sigá ko ima véra i tzíśtu zivée	look now, who has faith and lives purely!
25:	toé sfetı´ prorók daniíl né imal níkakaf gréx	this holy prophet Daniel had no sins
26:	i píl tzîs katú ággel pózii	and he was pure as an angel of God
27:	i u trí dní sidél pri gládni arsláne u éma dlipóka zatvóren	and he sat for three days in a deep hole with hungry lions
28:	amí tı´e lıúdi zvéruve ut sfetágw imáli śtráx ut négu	but those fierce beasts were afraid of the saint
29:	zaśtó fáf uśtá ta mu nósıl mólpa	because he carried prayer in his mouth
30:	i imál póg u néguva ta dúse	and he had God in his soul
31:	zatuvá ní mógli da gu izedat arsláne te	thus the lions could not eat him
32:	slúseïte vı´e	you hear
33:	zaśtó ní(e)koi pót ní sa mólite pógu,	because you never pray
34:	ni slúsete śtó vi útzi xrıśtós ut sfetó eѵággelıu	nor do you listen to what Christ teaches you in the holy Gospel
35:	ami xódıte pîs śtráx pózii	but rather you go without the fear of God
36:	tésku i kórku vám śte da píde na vásıa umıránıe	it will be hard and bitter for you, when you will be dying
37:	sékii den dávate na dıávola vásı te rétzi grésni xuratí i zpórovi	every day you give the Devil (his due) with your sinful words
38:	i sı´ te vásı rétzi grésni xi písuva dıávola t na néguvi tai teftére	and all your sinful words are written down by the Devil in his notebooks
39:	vı´e slépi umuve nı vıdite tı´e uzśti śtó vi zaúśti dıávola t	you blind minds, you don't see those reins by which the Devil has caught you
	i va vletzé u vétzna máka	and (by which) he drags you to the eternal torment
40:	sıgá tzıuvétzi kató slépi ná fsékakvu zló tartzát kató tı´e na sıntzíre t	now, people run as blind to any evil, as if they were chained to it
41:	katú gí ti gi víkat da xi varzát u sıntzíre t	as if they were calling them to get chained (?)
42:	takà dıávola t tartzí i xódi pu tzelovétzi te skóru da xmí varzé umuvé te	thus also the Devil runs and walks around the people to chain their minds
	da ni puznàvat tvói te gréxove	so that they don't know your (?) sins
43:	mlógu sa ráduva dıávola t za tı´e tzelovétzi kutrí ni mı´slet grexové te i umırálka	the Devil rejoices much about those people, who don't think (about their) sins and death
44:	toí koítu umı´ra pés pokaénıe tésku i kórku tém	it is hard and bitter to them, who die(s?) without repenting
45:	sítzki sfettzí pilí tzíśti kató ággeli	all the saints were pure as angels
46:	dén i nós sa mólili ná póga	they prayed for the day and night to God
47:	sı´ga légnat	now they lay down
48:	i śtánat kató dupítatzi i katú kónıe,	and they become like cattle and horses
49:	ní sa prikárśtuvat,	they don't cross themselves
50:	ní metánıe právet,	nor do they pray

53:	dıávola t xmi zatvóril otzí te	the Devil closed their eyes
54:	ta ni vídet pót pózii	so that they don't see the way of God
55:	ední sa śtórıli slúgi izmetkére na dıávola	some have become servants of the Devil
56:	ní slúset śtó xi útzi xrıśtós,	they don't hear, what the Christ teaches them
	a śtó xi útzi dıávola t	but rather what Devil teaches them

64:	samí sa pridávat ná dıávola	they gave themselves over to the Devil by themselves

82:	páśtıre moí zímat vólna i máslu	ʺmy shepherds take the wool and fatʺ
83:	i oftzí moí nı´ gi pasát	ʺand they don't bring my sheep to pasturesʺ
84:	edná aku zagíne ot vás śtaí da e pusákat taká glagólat adonaí góspot eloi savaw´d	ʺif one is lost, they let it soʺ ʺthus speaks Adonai, the Lord, Eloi Sabaothʺ
86:	a segà ima dvé vratá wtvóreni	and now they have two doors open
87:	koí déka sáka támu flézue	he who wants, enters
88:	vratá sa kazuva véra	this door is called faith
89:	amí takáva véra koí ni mı´luva níśtu u tvoí vék,	but (it is) such faith, which does not love anything of this age
90:	tı´e ni mózat da flézat ná pózi raï	those ones cannot enter the God's Paradise

92:	koí mı´luva néśtu u tvoí vék tıé ni mózet da flézat na pozi raï	ʺhe, who loves something of this age, those cannot enter the God's Paradiseʺ (?)
93:	zaśtó sa dusmàne pógu	because they are enemies of God
94:	zaśtó ima tzelıuvétzi da gu imat kató tzúzdu	because there are men, who have it (?) like something alien
95:	zaśtò akú ná dusé e ıum	because the mind is the eye of the soul
96:	akú ıum mísli śtóka i parí	(and) if the mind thinks (only) about wares and money
	koí tuvà mı´sli tı´e tzıuvétzi sá slépi	he, who thinks so, those people are blind
97:	ıúm nı´xni slép	their mind is blind
98:	i kómu mu xódi támu	and whose (mind) goes there?
99:	i vám pópomu zlí grésni	yours too, of a bad and sinful priest! (?)
100:	túgáf dusá e vórzana u temnítzi strásni	then the soul is bound in terrible dungeons
101:	i pàk kázuva	and again, He says:
102:	zená tfóe katú lúze ploduvíta	ʺyour wife is like a fruitful vineyardʺ
103:	tú e plót na dúse aku ima mísli pózii i duprì	that is the fruit of soul, if it has divine and good thoughts
104:	zaśtò mı´sle se pózii	because these thoughts are God's (?)
105:	a pòmísle se dıávultzku	and (bad) ideas are devilish
106:	koì ima mísli duprì i plàgi tı´e sa mı´sli za pukaènıe	for one having good thoughts, these thoughts are for repentance
107:	z̶a̶d̶ zaradı´ drúgu nì mı´sli	he does not think of anything else
108:	a koì ima pomı´sli toì mı´sli za tvoì vék za śtóka i za parì	and he, who has (devilish) ideas, thinks of this age, of wares and money
109:	tı´e ní[ko]i pòt nı sà gótovi za umirálka	these are never (ʺno way/timeʺ) ready for death
110:	tı´e sa delék pót zemlé zatvóreni u temnítzi śtrasni	these are for a long way closed in the earth, in terrible dungeons
111:	da mı´sli sékii tzuvék kató śte da umré	let every human thinks about how he will die
112:	tı´e sa mı´sli plági	these thoughts are good
113:	tı´e mı´sli tzúvat dúsı ut grésni pòmısli	these thoughts protect the souls from sinful ideas
114:	tugáva mísli kató tzàrtzku voínu	then he thinks as a royal soldier
115:	i tzıúvat sfòi góspuza dusá	and guards his lady the soul
116:	zatuvá trépuva sékii tzıuvék da e karavúl na ıum	for that reason, let every human be on guard for his mind
117:	da tartzí imót	let he endlessly works on his treasure (?)
118:	da nì gu púska da xódi pu grésni pómısli	let he never lets it go about to sinful ideas
119:	zaśtò ıum zaśtò sékii tzás xòdi	because the mind moves every time
120:	amá ako xódi taká xòdi	and it goes as it goes
121:	akò gu darzí saïpı´e	if he holds it as a landlord
122:	ta da mu dadé raputa	then it gives him work
123:	tuvá e plági mísli da sa móli pógu	this is (to have) good thoughts, to pray to God
124:	a koí ní sa mólet pógu, amí míslet za tvói vék tugáf nı´xni ıúm né zasuzten xódi po lòsi i grésni pómisli,	and who does not pray to God, but he thinks about this age, then their mind goes unprotected (?) on bad and sinful ideas
125:	ıum ta vódi i aggeli i dıávoli	the mind is led by both angels and devils (?)
126:	rékal	(he?) said:
127:	itéze eśt sokróviśte vása támu pótet i sartzé tu vása	ʺwhere is your treasure, there will be your heart tooʺ (?)
128:	taká kázuva	thus (he?) says:
129:	déka tzuvéka t ıum támu i dusé ta	ʺwhere is the mindʺ ʺthere is the soulʺ
130:	a darzì ıum u sépe da né ma grésni pómisli	thus hold the mind close, so that it does not have sinful ideas
131:	takáva dúse plìzu prí póga	such soul is close to God
132:	a aku ni darzí ıum wt grésni pómisli tugáf dusá samá i góla	and if the mind is not held away from the sinful ideas, the soul is alone and naked
133:	né ma koì da e tzıúva	there is no one to protect it
134:	sme dálzni da tarpíme zaśtò ni doìde mpóles ili siromáśtıe	we have to suffer, because (when?) an illness or poverty comes
135:	i da ni xúlet ime pózii	and we should not blame the name of God
136:	práśta póg na tzıuvétzi kazép	God sends toil to men
137:	zaśtó kogá nı´ gu nakáze póg tésku nému	because when God does not make them suffer, it is hard for them
138:	tı´e sa deléku ut póga	they are far away from God
139:	mpláze ná sırumásı i ná pólni	blessed are the poor and the ill!
140:	i mlògu śtrasnu ná pogáti i na zdrávi	and woe to the rich and healthy!
141:	onii deléku śtoet wt utetzénıe pózii	they stand far away from seeking refuge at God
142:	pérvu vréme pilì z̶ú̶z̶d̶u̶ tzúdni xrıśtıáne	in the beginning, the Christians were wonderful
143:	onii ní gledali i nı´ mı´slıli za tvoì vék	they did not look at, nor think of this age
144:	dén i nós mı´slıli za ónıi vék	they thought about the other age for the day and night
145:	zatuvá uśtávili i slátki raputi ut sóe sfét	for that reason they left the sweetness of this world
146:	i sa utzını´lı puśtıní	and they became desert (hermits)
147:	kám ıkonii mı´slıli	they thought towards icons
148:	aku pése ıuzéli ne pí mógali da sı utzıúvat dúsı te ut gréxove	if they would take (husbands or wives), they would not be able to protect their souls from sins
149:	zaśtò imáli	because they had (wealth?)
150:	i uśtávili	and they left (it?)
151:	i utıslí pu gurì i pu planıni góli i pósı i glàdni i zédni	and they went to forests and mountains, naked and barefoot and hungry and thirsty
152:	i zavéli pri śtrásnı arslánı i pri lı´uti zmíi i pri lúdi zvéruve	and they lived next to terrible lions and fierce snakes and mad beasts
153:	a pilí ední ot nı´x tzártzki tzedá	and there were royal children among them
154:	a zaradı´ sfói te dúsı da nı´ gi zakúpet xódıli sékii dén kató umréli	and, for the sake of their souls, they walked like dead for every day
155:	i̶ n̶ı̶´k̶o̶i̶ i nı´koi nı muzí da iskáze téxnı tu zaxmét pú 40 i pu 50 i 60 gudı´ni	and no one can tell (all of) their works (they did) for 40 and 50 and 60 years
156:	sékii dén pilí gládnı i zédnı i góli kató ut maï´ka rudéni	every day they were hungry and thirsty and naked as they were born from their mother
157:	i ut gulém zaxmét pilí kató umréli	and because of hard work they were like dead
158:	amí pilí tzíśti kató ággeli	but they were pure as angels
159:	sás takví zaxméte sa xódi ná pozi raï´	with such works one gets to the divine Paradise
160:	a drúgi sfettzí mutzenı´tzi śtó xi mátzili za véra xrıśtiántzka	and other saints (were) martyrs, who were tortured for the Christian faith
161:	trí śta i sez desé gudı´ni sékii dén mútzili mlógu tıurlı´ u máki	three hundred and sixty years, every day they tortured many, threw to torture
162:	ední zı´vi gi dráli	some were flayed alive
163:	a drúgi ut visóku kámenıai xi púskali da sa upivat	while others were thrown down from high rocks to die
164:	a drúgı u furúnai xi pékali zı´vi	and others were baked alive in furnaces
165:	i u kazánai xi varı´li	and they were boiled in cauldrons
166:	i na tzérkuve xi vartéli	and they were hanged on churches
167:	i na arsláne xi zı´vi gi dávali da xi izedát	and they were given alive to lions as a food
168:	i na zmı´i tai xi fárleli da xi ugrízet	and they were thrown to snakes to be bitten by them
169:	i onii smérteni tevnítzi xi zatváreli	and they were closed in deadly dungeons (?)
170:	i mlógu sfetı´ mutzenı´tzi u smértenı tevı´itzi sa priuśtávali	and many holy martyrs died in deadly dungeons
171:	slúseï´te da vídite kólku gulémi i téski máki sa pritarpéli sfetı´ mutzenı´tzi	hear, so that you (can) see, how great and hard tortures the holy martyrs suffered!
172:	tı´e sa tókmu sás arxággeli i ággeli	they are now just with archangels and angels
173:	taká xi putzı´ta sfetá tzérkva xeruvı´m i serafı´m	thus they are respected by the holy Church, by the Cherubim and Seraphim
174:	zaśtó o nı´xni dúsı sidél xrıśtós	because Christ sat next to their souls
175:	a onıi pomı´nali izıgléni usı	and they remembered (with?) pointed ears
176:	amí sıgá nı´ motzat nı´ pı´at nı´ gládni nı´ zédni	but now (they are) not tortured, nor beaten, nor hungry nor thirsty

178:	xrıśtós raputı´l trı´ deśte ı edno gudı´ni,	Christ worked for 31 years
179:	rapotı´l dana naútzi nás i nı´e da rapótıme da niı edéme t̶z̶d̶ tzı´uzdi pót	He worked to teach us to work, so that we do not eat from another one's toil
180:	pák kugá śtána gudı´na spral sfetí apóśtoli	then, after a year, He collected the holy apostles
181:	xodı´l trı´ gudı´ni	He walked for three years
182:	i mlógu tzıudá utzını´l	and He did many miracles
183:	umrélı uzivévali	dead were revived
184:	ut pét xlépuve pét xılıádi múzi nası´tıl i zéni i detzá	from 5 breads He fed 5000 men with women and children
185:	i eli ut sée xlépuve, sa spráli sfetí apóśtoli dva nà deśte kóse tróxi	and, as they ate from these breads, the holy apostles collected 12 baskets of leftovers
186:	póslet evréi wt záviś ta mlógu gu mátzili	then the Jews, because of jealousy, tortured him much
187:	trı deśte i trı xılıádı pót gu udrìli	33 thousand times they struck Him
188:	pu tuvá krásno i prekràsno lítze gu píli vrút	all together were beating Him on that beautiful face
189:	snága ta néguva pilá edná rana po tı´e lı´uti mı´uki	His body was one single wound after those fierce tortures
190:	i gu prıkuvali ná kórśt	and they put Him on a cross
191:	i mu zapíli ná rakí te mu i na nugı´ te mu gulémi pıróne,	and they stuck big nails to His hands and legs
192:	a toí ognetz pózii sı´tzki te tée móki prıtarpél zaradı´ nás	and this Lamb of God lived through these tortures for our sake
193:	dana utkúpi nás ut róki dıávoltzki	so that He may buy us out from the hands of the Devil
194:	i kugá píl xriśtós ná kórśt trı´ saxáte slóntze tu sa putevnílu	and when the Christ was on the cross, the sun became dark for three hours
195:	i trı´ saxáte zemlé ta sa trésala śtrásnu	and the ground was shaking terribly for three hours
196:	i uzivéli vrút umréli te támu ot sfetı´ gráda ıérusalı´m	and all the dead were revived there, in the holy city of Jerusalem
197:	i mlógu koí pilí sfetí gu vı´deli kató tı´e uzivéli	and those, who were saints, saw, how those became alive

204:	kutró e po tésku dáli vergı´e ili lúti mákoı	which is worse, the tax or fierce torment?
205:	mlógu e po tésku mókoı ut vergı´a ta	torment is much worse than the taxes
206:	tugáva nı´ zali parí	in those times, they did not take the money
207:	amí onii dávali parí, koí uśtávi véra pózii,	they were giving the money to those, who abandoned the faith in God
208:	amá sfetı´ i mázi i zéni i detzá né uśtávili véra ta	but the saints, men and women and children, did not abandon the faith
209:	amı´ xódıli ná mókoı kató na radus	but rather, they went to torments as if to joy
210:	a segá taká da mótzet	but let them (try to) torture (us) now!
211:	dáli pex se nasél ut déset xılıádı edı´n da pritarpí takví lıúti i téski móki,	would there be anyone among ten thousand, who would suffer through such fierce and hard torments?
212:	amá tı´e sfettzí ut téski mákoı péli pésni pózii,	but those saints sang songs of God from those hard tortures
213:	amá tı´e xrıśtıáne imáli i nósıli u téxni uśtá nı´xno sórtze ime xrıśtóvu	but those Christians had and carried in their mouths and hearts the name of Christ
214:	nepreśtáno tzínali	they prayed (ʺdidʺ) perpetually:
215:	góspodı iısúse xrıśte sı´ne pózii pómılui me grésnagu	ʺo Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, may you have mercy on sinful myselfʺ
216:	onii sékii tzás xrıśtá mólii	they prayed to Christ in every hour
217:	i xrıśtá víkali da xmi pumága i da gi ukrepí,	and they called the Christ to help them and to make them strong
218:	xrıśtá víkali	they called the Christ
219:	i xrıśtá mólili	and they prayed to Christ for that
220:	zatuvá i xrıśtós u téxnı dúsı sıdél	and the Christ sat at their souls
221:	i na zívu xrıśtós im dál sı´la i krépośt.	and the Christ gave them strength and sturdiness
222:	onıi da péxa nı´ molili ná xrıśtá sékii tzás ne pí mógali da prıtarpét tólkuva lı´uti mókoı,	if they did not pray to Christ everytime, they would not be able to suffer so fierce torments
223:	zatuvá n̶é̶ vernı te xi fárleli na ogan da izgurét,	for that reason they threw the believers to fire to burn
224:	a ogan né mogal da xi izguréva	but the fire could not burn them
225:	i otrova né mogala da xi utrovuva,	and the poison could not poison them
226:	i lı´uti zmíi né mogali da xi ugrízet,	and the fierce snakes could not bite them
227:	w´ lele véra kólku e sı´lna i mólenıe póga i tzı´śtu zı´vénıe,	oh, how strong is the faith, and the prayer to God, and pure life
228:	amá tı´e xrıśtıáne níkoi pót né sa umpívali	but those Christians were never killing (?)
229:	i né sa upívali piéni,	they never drunk (so much as to) be drunk
230:	i nı´koi pót né peli pésni dıávoltzki	and they never sung devilish songs

233:	amí sı´tzki múzi i zéni kníga znáeli	but all the men and women knew the literature (Scripture?)
234:	vétzeru i útrinu na póga sa mólili,	they prayed in the morning and evening to God
235:	a segá ní sa molet na póga,	and now they don't pray to God
236:	amı´ péat pésni dıávoltzki	but they sing devilish songs
237:	i sa ráduva dıávola t sas téxni te dúsı	and the Devil rejoices about their souls
238:	i ni sá légali sás zénı te sı vrút dené te	and (the early Christians) did not lay with their wives every day
