3: | Како̀ дꙋ́ма гсдь всѐдержитѐлъ | As Lord, the Ruler of everything, says: |
4: | ѡ горе тебѐ зем-лю агâрѧ̂нска що держѝшъ | o, woe to you, who rules over the land of Agarenes! |
5: | скри̂ сь во црство лютѡ | hide in (your) fierce kingdom |
6: | тогавà речѐ гсдь вседержитѐль що держѝ сѝчки | then Lord, the Ruler of everything, who rules over everyone, says: |
7: | нап-равѝ ща дâ пꙋсна едного̀ аггла верѐнь и̂ страшень | I'm going to release an angel - a faithful and dreadful one |
8: | и ща д-â мꙋ речà | and I will tell him: |
9: | идѝ нâ тꙋрскà зѐмлѧ | go to the Turkish land |
10: | и̂ сторѝ катѡ́ да сà ꙗ̀дâ-ть хорâ та междꙋ̀ тѧ̂х си | and make the people eat each other among them |
11: | е́динь дрꙋ̂гогѡ̀ не- престано | (eating) each other endlessly |
12: | и двà катà погꙋбѝ | and destroy two (of them) completely |
13: | а еди́нь ѡстàви́ | and leave one (alive) |
14: | и пâкь ща дá пꙋсна в-торàго áггла | and (then) I will again send a second angel |
15: | и щà да м(ꙋ) речà | and will tell him: |
16: | слѐсь на зâпадна страна и́ зн-áменꙋ | go down to the Western country and flag |
17: | и двà катà погꙋ́би | and destroy two (of them) completely |
18: | â едѝнь ѡстâви | and leave one (alive) |
19: | и третемꙋ- âгглю ще да рѐче | and to the third angel He will say: |
20: | идѝ во âзию и филини́ю и в͛ кападо̂кию и в сирию и в саломю мартѝньграть | go to Asia, Philinea (?) and Cappadocia, and Syria, and Salomean (?) Marcianopolis (?) |
21: | и́ тâмь двà катà погꙋ̀бѝ | and destroy two (of them) completely there |
22: | а едѝнь ѡстави. | and leave one (alive) |
23: | ѡ́ горѐ тебѐ землю̀ áгарѧ̀нскаѧ | o, woe to you, (ruler of the?) land of Agarenes |
24: | ѿ малкà и́скà гсдь всѐдержѝтель дá пꙋсне товâ злꙋ̀ нâ тизи хорà | and Lord, the Ruler of everything, wants to cast this evil on these people |
зáрàди прстꙋплѐнїе зако̀нь бжїи за безâконїе и зâ непрà-вда | because of (their) transgressions against Divine Law, for their lawlessness and lie(s) | |
25: | и̂ които сâ тогàва не покàе за свое согрешѐнїе | and those, who will then not repent their sin |
ти̂е- щáть дá стàнать дâ завиждать нá мертви́ те хорà | those will envy the dead people | |
и́ да дꙋммать | and (they will) say: | |
26: | блжени би̂хте вие | you were blessed |
27: | кâто не достѝгнахте тиѧ̂ ло-ши днѝ | as you did not live up to these bad days |
28: | а сегà станѐте виѐ мертвѝ | and now you are (become) dead |
29: | да влезѐм ниѐ живѝ | let us enter alive |
30: | че не мо̀жем да тѐрпим глàть и страх и́ боѝ и́ знамѐнїе | because we cannot suffer (that) hunger and fear and fights and knell |
31: | защо- ѐ зарадѝ нашѝ грехове | because it is for our sins |
32: | и щѐ дá излезе ѿть морѐ то вои̂скà гемнии̂ страшнѝ сáсь ѡганъ голем | and then a dreadful army of (and?) ships with big fire will come from the sea |
33: | и́ щать да додать на- цригрàть що̀ е нá сички црства сто̀ль | and they will come to Tsarigrad, which is the seat of the entire kingdom |
34: | и́ тꙋрци̂ те щать дà са приготвать ѿ голем страхь дâ бѧ̂гать | and the Turks will prepare to run away because of their great fear |
35: | и пàкь щàть дà сто̀рать барàшикь зâ малко времѧ | and they will make peace for a short time again |
36: | та чѐ пàкь щѐ да бàде кавгà и бранъ на тꙋ̀рци тѐ | and then there will be again hassle and war among the Turks |
37: | та чѐ слѐть товà щѐ да сà ꙗ́ви на зâпаднâ стàрна е́динъ крàлъ | and afterwards a king will appear in the Western country |
детꙋ́ го ни̂кои не́ е̂ знаѧ̀л͛ и почитàль зâ црь | whom nobody knew and honored as a king | |
38: | ала не щàть да мо̀жать дâ мꙋ навѝѧть | but they will not be able to defeat him |
39: | и̂- ѡ гꙋ́лам стрàхь щàть да сѝ ѡбарнать ли́ца та тꙋрцѝ те се ка запать сло̀нце ѿ много̀ вои̂ска бѐз͛ четь | and the Turks will turn their faces out of big fear to the sunset (flee) because of the many, countless troops |
40: | и̂ такà щать да навиѧть на тꙋрци те за мàлкѡ | and thus they will defeat the Turks shortly |
41: | и техни те́ кâлета и касâби щать да г-и земать и развâлать кати | and they will take their fortresses and small towns and completely destroy them |

42: | и такà щâть да ѿтьпáднать тꙋрци тѐ | and thus the Turks will fall |
като̀ младенѐць сїи̂ре̂чь като́ мáлко дете | like a baby, that is, as a small child | |
43: | когâ е малко̀ | as when it is small |
44: | âко щѐ маикâ мꙋ | and its mother wants/is going to [no main verb] |
45: | а тиѧ̂ го нâстапѝ | and she steps on it |
46: | а то̀ не може д-â и са ѡпрѐ | and then it cannot defend itself from her |
47: | à-ми оумрѐ | so it dies |
48: | че не мâ си̂ла | because it does not have the power |
49: | така щѐ и́ тꙋрскиѧ ть црь- да ѿпаднѐ | and like this even the Turkish king will fall |
50: | и сичкѝ те цре щать да вѝкнать на технѝ хорà исмàи́-лтâне | and all the kings will yell at their people, the Ismailites |
51: | защо̂ ще да ѿпâднѐ ѿ гневь бжїи | because (they?) will fall by the divine anger |
52: | и́ тогавâ ще да го земѐ хрстенскѝ црь | and then the Christian king will take it |
53: | и́ ще да стàне тꙋ́рска землѧ̂ на хрстенскѝ црь | and the Turkish land will belong to the Christian king |
54: | и́ сички диѧ̂воле и̂ разбои̂ници що̀ са по тꙋ́рска зем̂ѧ щать дá са загꙋ́бать | and all the devils and warriors who are in the Turkish land will perish |
55: | и́ тогáва ще дâ се ѡбарнѐ св҃та ть по право | and then the world will return to justice |
56: | и- ѿ тогàва ще да сà оꙋ̀красѝ цриграть като̀ цвете́ сàсь хрстене | and from then on they will decorate Tsarigrad like a flower with Christians and other kingdoms |
57: | и́ дрꙋги тѐ црства що гѝ и́ма фрàнсꙋсь швѐць и̂ ингили̂сь немѐ-ць прꙋ̀сь и̂ сичкѝ прочи́и цре цриграть ще дà е бàшь | and Tsarigrad will be the head (of) all the other kingdoms which exist - the French, the Swedish, the English, the German, the Prussian - and all the others |
58: | и̂ вов͛ цариграть кои ще́ да црꙋва | and who will rule in Tsarigrad? |
59: | сти восточнѝ црь хрстенски | a holy eastern king |
60: | и̂ ти̂е са трѝ брате и́ трѝ поми̂сленики | and these are three brothers and three thinkers |
61: | ѿ тѐхь первѝѧ ть хи́тропомѝсленикь ще да зем(е) си́чка запàдна страна | the first thinker among them will take the entire western country |
62: | и́ тогàва щàть и́ дрꙋ̀ги хрстенскѝ крáле като̂ вли́ци щáть да ги̂ развѐѧть тꙋ̀рци те и татàре те като̀ ѡвцѐ ко̀га влѐзе влѝкь | and then also other Christian kings will scatter the Turks and Tatars as wolves (among) sheep, when a wolf enters (the fold) |
63: | ѝ щàть да ѡстанàть сàлтъ хрстѐне | and only Christians will remain |
64: | ѝ щатъ да го̀натъ тꙋрцие до гꙋлѧ̂мо морѐ сàсь дꙋховно̀е дело̂ сàсь ꙗ́кось и сáсъ сѝла и́ сась бжїе повелѐнїе | and they will pursue the Turks to the great sea with spiritual work, with toughness and with power and with God's command |
65: | чѐ е тâи́ зари́чиль гсдъ на- аггла | because God thus commanded the angel |
66: | и́ щать да зѐмать и дрꙋгѝ крàле паѝ ѿ тꙋрскà та землѧ̂ | and even other kings will take a part from the Turkish land |
67: | и́ щать да ѧ̀ разделàть на четѐри дѣ́ла азкѧ̀ землѧ̀ и краѝполе и перго̀мь | and they will divide it to four parts: Asian land and Kraipole (?) and Pergamum (?) (and...?) |
68: | сàсь голѧма воискѧ̀ ща-ть да раземать тꙋ̂рскà землѧ̀ | with a great army they will take the Turkish land |
69: | и щать дâ земать вери́ те вѧ̀ра коѝто̀ ѡстанѐ | and the faiths (people) will adopt the remaining faith |
70: | á тои да е хрсте́нинь | and this will be the Christianity (to be Christian) |
71: | а дрꙋ́ги кои́тꙋ не щатъ дâ станать хрстѐне а тѡ щàть да са збер-âть. ·п· езицѝ | and (of) the others, who will not become Christians, these will assemble, (numbering) 80 nations |
72: | алâ дꙋ́рꙋ̂ не црꙋвà тоѧ̀ царь. ·лв· годи́нь | but this king will not even reign for 32 years |
73: | тâ чѐ тогàва щàть да додать сички тѐ на цри-грать- да са збѝѧть | and then all willl come to Tsarigrad to fight |
74: | та щѐ кривь да потѐче, по патѝща та | and blood will flow on the roads |
75: | тá- не ще човекь. да мо́же да ѧ̂ прегазѝ | so that one man will not be able to cross it |
76: | и тогавà ще да до̀де, глàсь ѿ небѐ то | and then a voice will come from the heaven |
77: | и щѐ, да рѐче гсдь | and the Lord will say: |
78: | стàнете | stand up! |
79: | и оꙋ̂ми́рете са. | and make peace! |
80: | защо̀ ви дадохъ. товà кàто ма не слꙋшàхте | because I gave you this (chance?) and (as) you did not listen to me |
81: | а сега стá-нете | but now stand up |
82: | и идетѐ на дѐсна странà седмо̀ верхà. | and go to the country right to the seven peaks (?) |
83: | и има двà кàмика мрѧмо̀рни | and there are two marble stones |
84: | и щетѐ да намѐрите тàмь човѧ́кь возрастом велѝкь. и на поглѐть послꙋ́шивъ | and you will find a man, physically tall and obeying at glance |
85: | и ще да ѡб-ича хора та, кротко̀ и вов͛ сиромàшки дрехѝ, | and he will love the people gently, (clad) in poor man's clothes |
86: | и на деснѝ-ѧ т мꙋ крàкь щѐ да има белѐкь врадавѝца | and on his right leg he will have a wart as a mark |
87: | и щать. да го̀ зѐмать четири́ аггле бжїи и да го̀ завѐдать во̀в͛ ста софиѧ̀. | and four angels will take him and lead him to Saint Sofia |
88: | и щàть да го̀ венчѐѧть сâсь црски венѐць- | and they will crown him with the royal crown |
89: | и щать да мꙋ́ дàдать агглѐ те кàличь в рꙋ́це | and they will give him a sword in his hand |
90: | и щать да м(ꙋ)- речáть | and they will tell him: |
91: | мꙋ́жеи сѧ црю̀ | o king, be a man! |
92: | и побѐди врàги дето̀ не ве́рꙋвать хрста | and defeat the enemies who do not believe in Christ |
93: | и тоѝ ще дâ земѐ ѿ аггла ѡнзи́ кали́чь | and he will take the sword from the angel |
94: | та ще. да гонѝ невѐрни езѝци ·оз· | and he will rout 77 of the heathen nations |
95: | и ще да ги стѝгне в едно место лошо | and he will take them to one bad place |
96: | та нѐ щать да мо̀гать да сà ѡбирнàть | and they will not be able to return (convert?) |
97: | á тоѝ ще дà ги раздѐли нà трѝ паѧ̀ | and he will divide them into three parts |
98: | пѐрвиѧ ть паѝ щѐ да исече. | he will cut down the first part |
99: | а вто́риѧ ть паи́ щѐ да са крсти | and the second part will be baptized |
100: | а третиѧ ть ще да сâ по-разѝ да-жѐ до единъ сичкѝ не верни | and the third part will be annihilated, all the non-believers up to the last one |
101: | и ще дà са вирнѐ на с-тола т си ꙋ̂ цригрàт | and he will return to his throne in Tsarigrad |
102: | и ще да црꙋва. ·вѝ· годѝнь | and he will reign for 12 years |
103: | та чѐ ще да познàе че ще да ꙋ́мре | and he will realize that he is going to die |
104: | а тоѝ ще дâ идѐ нâ иерꙋсàлим да сѝ- дàде дꙋ̀ша та бгꙋ в рꙋ́це | and he will go to Jerusalem to give his soul to God's hands |
105: | ѿ него щать дâ остàнать. ·д· сна | from him four sons will remain |
106: | и тогàва ще да сà ѿ-твори що има сѝчко скрѝто поть зем-лѧ̂ та богàтство | and then all the wealth hidden beneath the earth will be revealed |
107: | и тогава секѝ човѐкь ще дà е богать | and every human being will be rich |
108: | сиромахъ не щѐ да има | there will be no poor |
109: | и землѧ̂ та ще да дàде рожбà заедно̀ седем | and the world will give sevenfold harvest (seven harvests together) |
110: | и пꙋшкѝ те щать да сà превѝѧть на срѝпове сѝсь тѧ̀-хъ да жàнать | and the guns will be reforged into sickles, so that they reap it |
111: | толко̀ва щѐ да е берекѐть | this will be such an abundance |
112: | первиѧ ть мꙋ снь ще. да црꙋвà вов͛ велѝки римъ | his first son will reign in the great Rome |
113: | а вторѝѧ ть мꙋ снь во âлеѯанд-риѧ | and his second son (will reign) in Alexandria |
114: | а третиѧ т мꙋ синь вов͛ цри-грать | and his third son (will reign) in Tsarigrad |
115: | а четвертиѧ ть мꙋ снъ. ꙋ солꙋнъ грàда | and his fourth son (will reign) in the city of Solun |
116: | и тогизи щать да земать дâ са биѧ̂ть еди́нь дрꙋгѝ | and then they will start to fight each other |
117: | тизѝ четирѝ брàте не щàть дà са бгꙋ бо-ѧ̂ть | these four brothers will not fear God |
118: | кáто тѧ̀хъ црь нѝ е имало̀ | there has not been a king such as them |
119: | и щать дà са би́ѧть сâ-сь попо̀ве и сàсь калꙋ̀гере | and they will fight with the priests and the monks |
120: | и тогѝзи хрстѧнство тѡ̀ ще да зàтемнѐе, | and Christianity will fall into darkness |
121: | и тоѧ̀ що̀то црꙋва нâ цри-грать а тои́ ще да стàне насрѐт грàда ть | and the one, who reigns in Tsarigrad, will stand up in the middle of the city |
122: | та щѐ да вѝкне сась гꙋ̀лам гл-àсь | and he will say with a big voice |
123: | ко ѐ по гꙋ̀лѧм ѿ мѐне | who is greater than me? |
124: | и коѝ можѐ да ми са ѡ-пре | and who can revolt against me? |
125: | и тоѝ- ще да са разлю̀лее̂ сичкѝѧ ть грàть | and he will shake the entire city |
126: | та ще да сà пото̀пи́ во̀в͛ морѐ то сàсь кàщ(и) (и) сась сѝчки хорà | and (the city) will perish in the sea with houses and all the people |
127: | токо̀ ще да ѡстанѐ едѝнъ сто̀ль що̀ са кажѐ дѝкили́ | only one capital (chair) that is called Dikili will remain |
128: | тà ще- да сà вѝди из͛ море то | and it will be seen from the sea |
129: | и щать да минꙋ̀вать гемиџие и- да дꙋ́мат и да плàчать | and the sailors will pass and say and cry: |
130: | кь̀кàвь бешѐ тꙋкà чꙋ̂день гр-ать | how wonderful was that city over here |
131: | а сегà морѐ гꙋлемо̀ | and now - a big sea |
132: | и слѐть малкѡ̀ врем и тоѝзи що̀ црꙋ́ва в͛ солꙋ̀нъ и тоѝ ще дà са пото́пи | and after little time also the one who reigns in Solun will be sunk |
133: | тàка ще и рим ѿ гꙋлѐми ветрѝща | similarly, also Rome will (be sunk) by strong (big) winds |
134: | щáть да гѡ̀ накàрать вов͛ море то̀ | they will blow it into the sea |
135: | и слѐть ти́зи рабо̀тѝ сѝчки щѐ дà црꙋвà àнтихри-сть | and after all these things Antichrist will reign over everything |
136: | и ще да чѝни чꙋдесà като̀ стие те | and he will do wonders like the saints |
137: | и тоѝ ще да за:рàдва чифꙋ̀те ть | and he will make the Jews glad |
138: | тѝе щать да го имать като̀ бга | they will have him like a god |
139: | и мло-го̀ хорà щѐ дá прелàсти | and he will seduce many people |
140: | и тогѝва в͛ него̂во то́ врем ще- да бàде глать и трꙋсь и пото́пь по̀ се̂ землѧ̀ | and then, in his time, there will be hunger, and earthquake, and flood in the entire world |
141: | и водѝ те щà-ть дá са скриѧ̀ть | and the water will hide itself |
142: | и рожбà землѧ̀ та не щѐ дá им(а) на нег-ово тѡ́ црство̀ | and the land will have no harvest in his kingdom |
143: | гсдь и̂ись хрсто̀сь да ни́ избави ѿ того-зи дїиѧ̂вола во вѣ̀ки. | may God, Jesus Christ, save us from this devil forever |

149: | возрàсть ѡпщѝ члкїи и́машѐ еди́нь старець- поснѝкь вов͛ алпїискїа горà спро̀ти базаитскаго. грàда ва шевѐтска землѧ̀ | (there was) an old hermit in the common human age, (living) in the forest of Alps next to the city of Basel in the Swiss/Swedish land |
150: | и бешѐ тоѧ̀ поснѝкь. ·рѕ· годѝнъ нá имѐ мартѝнь | and this hermit was 106 years (old), called Martin |
151: | и когâ оꙋ́ти́де да сѐ постѝ в͛ ·҂аѱлд· годи́нь | and it was the year 1734 when he went to fast (?) |
152: | и́ живѧ̀ в͛ ѡнаѧ̂ го̀ра. ·л· годѝнь в͛ ѡнаѧ̀ пꙋстинѧ́ | and he lived in that mountain, in that desert, for 30 years |
153: | и ѧ́дешѐ еднà тревѝца и коренѐ ѿ пр-очѝѧ тревѝ | and he ate grass and roots from other grasses |
154: | нáпоко̀нъ нâ. ·аѱѯд· годи́нь на мцсь. декѐмрїи ·к· днь оутидѐ си в͛ горциѝца своѧ̀ детꙋ живешѐ | finally, on 20th day of Month December, year 1764, he went to the cottage (?), where he lived |
155: | и́ додет глàсь ѿ аггла и ѿ жи́ваго бга | and a voice came from an angel and from the living God |
156: | там товà покàза и ꙗвѝ ꙗ̀сно | there he showed and uncovered it clearly |
157: | ами послꙋшайте дрꙋзѝ мо́ѝ | ʺso, listen, my friends!ʺ |
158: | дꙋмаше на дрꙋ̀ги те поснѝцы | he spoke (thus) to other hermits |
159: | тà им кàже | and he said to them: |
160: | послꙋ̀шайте чàда мо́и́ | ʺlisten, my children!ʺ |
161: | áзь да вѝ кажà вам какво̀ ще дá станѐ | ʺmay I tell you, what will happenʺ |
162: | ст҃á ть лажо́вни зачꙋ́де са кои́тꙋ дочáка и́ види́ | ʺthe sinful world will wonder (about those) who live up and seeʺ |
163: | ще̂ дá стане́ в͛ немскá землѧ́ що́ держи́ крꙋ́гь зе́мли̂ | it will happen in the German land, which holds the circle of the Earth (?) |
164: | ще да баде гꙋ́-лѧм глáть ꙗвно́ и видно́ стрáшно | there will be a great famine, (as it is) clearly and terribly visible |
165: | и три́говщи́на ник-ва не ще́ дá им | and there will be no commerce |
166: | й пе́ть годи́нь се гꙋ́лам глать дꙋр сá не ми́-нать | and a great famine (will be) everywhere until 5 years pass |
167: | и ѡще́ пе́ть годи́нь се ти́ ще да е́ збри́кано вре-мѐ то | and the weather will be messed up for another 5 years |
168: | и щать да ми́слать хора тà ки́кво щѐ да е́ тáѧ рáбота | and the people will wonder about what is happening |
169: | ка щем да сá поми́нем ако́ е се таи збрикáно | (and they will wonder) that they will perish if everything is so messed up |
170: | и- сáсь ти́ѧ̂ десе́ть годи́ни си́чки св҃ѧть щѐ да сá измени́ | and in those 10 years the whole world will change |
171: | алá когавá испилнать ·҂аѿ· годи́нь тогáва са тиѧ́ ло-ши́ ·ї· годи́нь | but when the 1800 comes, those 10 bad years (will end?) |
172: | и́ тоги́зи нáпоко́нь кои́ дочáка ти́е щ-áть да сá хвáлать | but then, finally, those, who survived, will be praised |
173: | тоги́ва щото им скри́то и затáвлено по тꙋ́рска землѧ́ се́ ще да сá ѿкри́е | then, what was hidden and covered in Turkey, all will be revealed |
174: | и секи ще́ да е зе-нги́нъ съ бга | and everyone will be a rich man with God |
175: | тоги́ва щáть да фáнать хорá та дá гле-дáть бжїи те рабо́ти и да си́ гледáть дꙋ́ши те | then the people will begin to watch works of God and to guard their souls |
176: | защо́ ще гсдь такá да и́зволѝ | because God will want it so |
177: | и́ землѩ́ та ще́ на но́во да са ѡби-рне́ | and the Earth will turn anew |
178: | и́ сꙋдове те́ щáть да сá по прàво и́ лю́бовь междꙋ́. хорá та по все́ землѧ́ | and the courts will (proceed) according to justice and love between people |
179: | в͛ и́ропїе црство́ ще́ да баде мло́-го бере́кеть | there will be abundance in the kingdom of Europe |
180: | ще́ дá баде си́чко́ много́ | there will be abundance of everything |
181: | и́ тꙋрци́ те | and (concerning) the Turks |
182: | тогив- землѧ́ та тѧ́хна азиѧ́ и аврики́ѧ и цри-грáть тꙋрскиѧ ть сто́ль ще́ да сá земе́ сáсь мáлко кри́вь междо́. тѧ́хь | then their lands (in) Asia and Africa, and Tsarigrad, Turkish capital, too, will be taken from them with some blood |
183: | щать дá са би́ѧть не престáно дꙋ́р са не поразать си́- те | they will fight endlessly until they vanquish all each other |
184: | и́ ники́кива помо́щь не́ щать дá имáть ни́ ѿ де́ | and they will not receive any help from anywhere |
185: | и́ ни́ ѿ еди́нь црь не ще́ дá им помогне́ | and not a single king is going to help them |
186: | и́ наи́ напоко́нь така щáть да си́ развáлать градá ть | and, finally, they will thus destroy their city |
187: | и́ гꙋлѧ́мь глáть ще́ да бáди оꙋ́ техно црство | and there will be a great famine in their kingdom |
