| 53: | i sička xitrus diavolska pubjagvaši i lipsvaši ut neina ta molba | and all the devilish cunning was vain because of (ʺdisappeared fromʺ) her prayer |

| 72: | a dušja ta ti se badi na xubavii i slatkii rai | ʺand your soul shall be in the beautiful and sweet Paradiseʺ |
| 73: | katu vide sfetae petka tui videnie i katu čju teizi dumi | as St Petka saw this apparition and heard those words |
| i razumja oti e ut boga toizi xaber dunee | (ʺandʺ) she understood, that this news (?) was from God | |

| 86: | i utidi i f čerkova ta na presfetae bogorodica štutu sa vika vlaxernae | and (then) she went to the church of the most-holy Mother of God which is called Blachernae |
| 87: | i tamo pripadna na ikona ta i na presfetae bogorodica | and there she came (ʺfellʺ?) to the icon of the most-holy Mother of God |
| 88: | i salzi ut uči ti si mlogo izlivaši | and she poured a lot of tears from her eyes |

| 139: | i ze da vuni zla vunja | and a terrible stench started to come out (ʺto stinkʺ) |
| kolkutu veči ni možeši ut tamo da primini čelovek | so much that one couldn't pass by | |
| 140: | naidno i onzi puštinak i toi ni možeši veki da tarpi ut unas maršja detu voneši tolkus | neither the hermit could suffer that corpse, which was stinking so much, any more |

| 142: | i nameri čeloveci | and he found (some) men |
| 143: | i reči im da iskupaet idin trap guljam | and he told them to dig a big hole |
| i tamo da ugudat unui vuneštu telo štutu mirišeši | and to throw that stinking body there | |

| 150: | ta ni mužixa da sa usetat zaradi unui sfetoe telo | and they couldn't understand that (it was a) holy body |
| 151: | zaštotu i nikui ni znaeši zašto i tamo pogrebena sfetae petka | because nobody knew that (ʺwhyʺ?) St Petka was buried there |
