| 10: | dnešnaę svetaę paraskeva golubica xristova | Parascheva, today's saint, (was the) dove of Christ |

| 15: | poslušaite da učete čudesa | hear, so that you learn (about) miracles! |

| 17: | u toa selo se rodila svetaę paraskeva | St Parascheva was born in this village |
| odъ blaga loza i odъ tatka i odъ maika | from a good vine, from a (good) father and mother | |
| 18: | xodile po zapovedъ boži | they followed divine commandments |
| 19: | pošto bile oni dostoini | that's why they were worthy |
| 20: | i čedo to go naučile na bogomolsto | and they taught the child to pray |
| 21: | imъ došlo vreme | their time came |
| 22: | se prestavile oni vo nebesni obitelъ | they presented themselves in the heavenly dwellings |

| 31: | so toa živeale | with that she lived |
| 32: | koi može da iskaže neizini metanie i na gola zemla leganě | who could tell of her bowing and laying on the naked ground? |
| 33: | sade oko bžio ga gledalo | only the eye of God saw her |
| 34: | i mislila kakofъ џoapъ xristu bogu ke dademo | and she thought what reply we (?) will give to Christ the God |
| i da čue sladki glasъ negovi | and to hear his sweet voice | |
| 35: | togai diavolъ e zavidilъ | then the Devil became jealous |
| 36: | e se ęvilъ kako srašni zveri | he appeared (in the form of) terrible beasts (to her?) |
| 37: | a ona se prekrъstila | but she crossed herself |
| 38: | ne čisti diavolъ kako paučina se rasturaše | the unclean Devil fell apart as some spider web |
| 39: | milostivomu bogu mu se dožali | merciful God pitied her |
| 40: | e pratilъ anћela ot oblaci | He sent an angel from the clouds |

| 45: | i otišla u carigrada vo cerkva svetaę sofię | and she went to Tsarigrad, to the church of St Sophia |
| 46: | ot tamo otišla u tatkoina ta si | from there she went to her fatherland |
| 47: | malo vreme živeala | she lived for a short time |
| 48: | a bogomolъsto ne premenila | and she didn't change the prayer (for anything else) |
| 49: | došlo e vreme da predade duša bogu | (then the) time came to give the soul to God |
| 50: | i telo e zakopale na ne izbrano mesto | and they buried her body on an indefinite place |
| 51: | blizu e nekoi posnikъ u peštera postilъ | in the vicinity, a hermit fasted in a cave |

| 56: | se osmerdilo telo to negovo | his body began to stink |
| 57: | posniko tъ povelelъ na nekoi čeloveci da zakopaa onoi smerdlivъ trupъ | the hermit commanded some people to bury the stinking corpse |
| 58: | kopaiki grobo naidoa tělo ne izgnieno | as they dug, they found an undecayed body |
| 59: | ne predumele e li e svetlo tova tělo | they did not think about the holiness (ʺlightnessʺ) of that body |

| 68: | i se raduale kako azno koga i našle | and they were happy for the treasure they found |
| 69: | ga odnele u cerkva sveti apostolъ peterъ i pavelъ u selo epifatъ | they brought it to the church of St Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Epibates |
| 70: | mnogo čudesa činila tamo | she performed many miracles there |
| 71: | pa toa mnogo ne e vreme zaminalo | afterwards not much time has passed |
| 72: | imalo nekoi blagočestifъ ioanъ kralъ bulgarski i sesbъski | there was one honorable John, King of Bulgaria and Serbia |

| 76: | i so drugi svešteniki gi prenesle česnię mošti ot epifatъ vo bolgarska zemla | and with other priests, they brought the true relics from Epibates to the Bulgarian land |

| 83: | i po cerkve strebro ga zemale | and they took even the silver from the churches |
| 84: | i světei mošti gi dignale | and they took the relics of the Saint (Parascheva) |
| 85: | gi odnene u carigratъ | they brought them to Tsarigrad |
| 86: | gi postavile u sarai svoi | they placed them in their palace |
| 87: | i pakъ tamo čudesa činile | and she did the miracles there then |
| 88: | ne salde xristęni se poklonuale | not only Christians bowed to her |
| 89: | no i turci prioћale | but even Turks were coming |
| 90: | paki caro tъ gi dalъ na patrika | so the king gave them to the Patriarch |
| 91: | gi stavile u cerkva patrička | they put them to the patriarchal church |
| 92: | nekoi blagočestivъ ioanъ voivoda ot moldavska zemlę mnogu imalъ ljubovъ za tię světi mošti | (then) one blessed John, the Voivod of (ʺfromʺ) the land of Moldavia hat much love for those holy relics |
