5: | i počitaeši me jako svoego raba ljubimago | And you respect me like your beloved servant. |
6: | vozupixъ vsemъ srdcemъ moimъ kъ štedromu bgu | I called with all my heart to the generous God: |
7: | gdi usliši me | O Lord, listen to me! |
8: | i izъbavi me izъ istlenię životъ moi | And save me from the decay of my life! |
9: | i samъ xrtosъ tako reče u stoe eѵagelie | And the Christ Himself spoke thus in the Holy Gospel: |
10: | ašte budetъ dva ili tri sъbrani vo ime moe | ʺIf there will be two or three coming together in my name,ʺ |
tu esmъ i azъ po srede ixъ | ʺI will be there too among them.ʺ | |
11: | poneže edini člveci ljubatъ pejati i čitati po skoro | Because some people like to sing and to read fast, |
da ne raznosit se imъ umъ na druga strana | so that their mind will not be taken away elsewhere. | |
12: | a drugi četutъ i pejut izъleka | And others read and sing slowly. |
13: | i vnimajutъ sebe da ne sъgrešutъ nešto | And they take care not to make any error. |
14: | poneže ne su dobre naučili i utverdili | Because they did not have learned and trained well. |
15: | no izъ leka kogi četešъ i peešъ to bivaetъ ugodno bgu | But if you read and sing slowly, it is pleasing God. |
16: | no i brъzo četi ne mrazitъ bgъ | But also if you read fast, God does not dislike (it). |
17: | no sъkrušenomъ srъcemъ i smirenimъ dxomъ | But (if you read) with humble heart and peaceful spirit, |
tako bgъ vrazumljaetъ člveka na vsakoju dobrodetelъ | thus God gives prudence to man for every virtue. | |
18: | i deistvuetъ na razumъlenie slovo vъ razuma vъ mnogoletnix rabovъ svoixъ | And the word acts to be understood (?) in the mind of his long-year servants, |
koito tvorutъ mltvu sasъ blgodarenie i userъdiemъ | who do the prayer with gratitude and effort. | |
19: | vsegda izvestno estъ pravo | Always, the known is the true (?) |
20: | i vъ istinu jakože bžestvenoe pisanie govoritъ | And as the Divine Scripture truly says: |
21: | iže sotvoriša se i sъbiša se javljajutъ bgu našemu vsexъ | ʺ(Those deeds?) which were done and happened, they show everything to our God.ʺ |
22: | i naricaetъ tvarъ tvorъca jako gdъ estъ | And: ʺThe creation calls its Creator, that He is the Lord.ʺ |
23: | i vozdastъ namъ život večni | And He gives us Eternal Life. |
24: | mi že poklanjaem se bgu našemu | And we bow to our God. |
25: | slava i nině i vo veki vsegda vekovъ | Glory (be to our God) now and forever! |

27: | sъvrъšix knigu siju glagolemi i naricaemago prologъ | [Afterword] I finished this book, called and named Prologue. |
28: | proizvedoxъ ot štanъpu na prostago ezika radi prosti ljudie da razumejutъ vsačeskoe | [Afterword] I produced (it) from printed (sources) to a simple language, so that simple people understand everything. |
