| ʾi ako bude wt baštu i wt máĭku ne naučena i ne ʾispedeѱana | and if she will not be raised and taught properly by her father and her mother, | |
| ʾi ʾáko bude bezьʾóčlíva ʾi bezьsrámna i ustáta (ʾi) slastoljúbica ʾi piʾjánica | or if she will be unrespectful, and speaking too much, and lustful, and a drunkard, | |

| 5: | i ʾáko bude bezьbóžnìca ʾi magésnica ʾili veštica ʾi prismexlukʾjá | And if she will be an unbeliever, and a sorceress, and a diviner, and sarcastic, |

| 6: | zašto da sì ʾimalь čétiri ʾoči; | Because of that you should have had four eyes: |

| 23: | ʾi samь pomislì | Think yourself: |
| 24: | kogì kúpišь nekoʾjá kь´šta ʾili lozïe ʾili róbь ʾili kónь | When you buy a house, or a vineyard, or a servant, or a horse, |

| 25: | a ženà ʾáko ti ne bude ugódna ne móžešь da ju vrь´nešь; | But if a wife will not be to your liking, you cannot return her |
| 26: | zatova pisuva ʾu právilo da ʾimašь; čétiri ʾóč̃i da glédašь kakvà žena uzímašь | That is why the Law writes to have four eyes when looking, what woman are you taking |
| 27: | zašto ʾáko bude siromaška ʾi zla po skóro móžešь da se ʾizbávišь wt neja | For if she will be poor and bad, more likely you can get her away |
| 28: | ʾáko li bude bogáta mlogo zlo ʾi beda xóčešь da poteglišь | But if she would be rich, you would (?) suffer much evil |
| 29: | ʾi ne možeš skóro da sè ʾizbávišь wt neja | And you cannot easily get away from here |
| 30: | zaštò kogi naide nekóĭ čl̃vekь nekoju ženu kur͛vu ʾwna | For when a man finds an adulterous woman, |
| ne uvodi tokò sama sebe u muku večnuju | she does not bring only herself to the eternal torment, | |
| nь ʾi drugi mlogo čl̃véci kóĭto prixódutь pri nju | but also many other people, who come to her | |
| 31: | takóĭ učit͛ gi vrágь | Thus they are taught by the Enemy |

| 33: | ʾi drugi konьčno na samrь´tь predádoxu | And they finally give them over to death |
| 34: | takvíva ženì ne smísleni ʾi magésnici mužь kogì vídi sébe če e daléko wt pómoštь bž̃ïju | When a man sees such mindless women and sorceresses, then he is far from the help of God |

| 38: | posle stʾáne za poruganïe na svì čl̃veci ʾi za ukorь | And then she remains for ashamed in front of all people and for reproach |
| 39: | ʾáko sakašь dʾa sp͒išь dš̃u svoju | If you wish to save your soul, |
| ne ʾidi kude ʾima besov͛ski pésni i ĭ..gri djavol͛ski | do not go there, where there are devilish songs and dances, | |
| ʾi kade se govórut kurьvarski dumi | and where adulterous words are being said | |
| 40: | zaštò upadášь u ʾjámu dlьboku | Because you fall into a deep pit |
| 41: | no náĭdi čl̃véci krot͛ki ʾi smireni kóĭto se bojútь bg̃u | But find humble and peaceful people, who fear God |
| 42: | sasь takvíva človéci xorotui čt͒o | Communicate with this kind of people often |
| 43: | ʾi sasь takviva se sabírai da čúešь wt nixь blági réči | And meet with such people, to you hear from them good words, |
| ʾi ti da se naučišь da se bóĭšь bg̃u | so that you also learn how to fear God | |
| 44: | ʾi ʾáng̃elь tvóĭ xranítelь nikogda da se ne wtlučva wt tebe | And may your guardian angel never falls apart from you |
| 45: | ʾi kogì vidišь dobrolíčnu ženu | And when you see a beautiful woman, |
| ʾi prïĭde ti zlь pomislь zá nju | and a bad thought about her comes to your mind, | |
| ʾa ti pomislì kakvò esì zemlʾjá ʾi práxь ʾi pepelь | then think about how you are of soil, dust and ashes | |
| 46: | ʾi turi rúku svoju na ʾóg̃nь ʾáko móžešь trьpéti ʾog̃nь | And put your hand to fire, if you can suffer fire |
| 47: | tàko ʾi za žénu čuždu pomislí | Thus it is also to think of a strange woman |
| 48: | ʾi da vidišь nekoju bol͛nu ženù ležì ʾi usmrьdéla se | And may you imagine an ill woman, laying and stinking |
| 49: | kakvò xočešь pomislìti | What would you think? |
| 50: | ʾili ʾáko vidišь nékoju ženù stáru | Or if you see an old woman, |
| ʾwslepela ʾi stanula grózna ʾi gnusna | who became blind, and ugly, and disgusting, | |
| pomislì | think! | |
| 51: | ʾi reči | And say: |
| 52: | taʾjá baba kogi e bilà mláda kakvá e bíla xubava | That old woman, when she was young, how beautiful she was |
| 53: | ʾá sьga ju ʾóči ʾwslepeli | But now, her eyes (became) blind |
| 54: | ʾuši ʾwglušéli | (Her) ears (are) deaf |
| 55: | zubi ʾispadnuli | (Her) teeth fell out |
| 56: | lice pogroznélo | (Her) face became ugly |
| 57: | ʾizь ʾoč̃i te ju gurele tečutь | Tears fall out of her eyes |
| 58: | stráx͛ te e ʾi gnus te e da ju poglednešь | You are afraid and disgusted from looking at her |
| 59: | ʾi kogi ti prineset vragь xubavu ženù na pámetь | And when the Enemy brings you a beatiful woman to your mind, |
| ʾá tì skóro prinesi, staroju ʾi gnusnu babu | may you bring soon an old, disgusting wench | |
| 60: | ʾi preminue ti, što si pomíslilь | And what you thought of, will pass |
| 61: | ʾi mlógw devíci xubavi umíratь | And many pretty girls die |
| 62: | ʾi po tri dní ʾidi | And then go after three days |
| 63: | ʾi višь u gróbь kakvà xubosь ʾima | And see in the grave, what beauty there is |
| 64: | i ne móžešь da stóĭšь wt wnaja smrьdéla mrь´ša | And you cannot stand from that stinking corpse |
| 65: | vídite li čl̃veci bž̃ïi kakvo sè nïe gnùsimo wt čl̃večesko mrьtvo telo | Do you see, people of God, how we get disgusted from a dead human body? |
| 66: | takoi se gnusi ʾi bg̃ь na tija čl̃veci koito želájut žen͛sko télo xúbavo | Thus also God is disgusted from those people, who wish a beautiful body of a woman |
| 67: | tako ʾi samь xr͒tósь réče | Thus also the Christ Himself said: |
| 68: | kóĭ vidi dóbroličnu ženu ʾi ōtide mu pametь po nu | He who sees a beautiful woman and thinks about her, |
| kato če se e ʾisxodílь sasь nju | he is like if he went together with her (to adultery) | |
| 69: | takóĭ da veruete kogi vídišь nekoe lice nekogi | Thus you should believe, when you see a (beautiful) face, |
| ʾá ti ustrelénь buduešь wt vrága | and when you are (as) shot by the Enemy | |
| 70: | ʾá pó dobro bi bilò da ne vídišь takvovo licè | And it would be better that you would not see that face |
| 71: | zašto mlógo ženì ʾimatь: xubavo licè | Because many women have a beautiful face |
| 72: | ʾá unutre u srdce to ʾimat nekoja bólestь | But inside the heart they have some malady |
| 73: | ʾi počnešь da se gnusiš wt neja | And you would start to be disgusted from her (because of it) |
| 74: | ʾi da može čl̃vekь da vidi ženu da ʾima na sebe krásta, ʾili šuga ne bi gledálь u néja | And if a man would see a woman having scabies on herself, he would not look on her |
| 75: | nь bi begalь daléko wt néja ʾi ti | But you would run away too from her, |
| da ne prefanešь zla krásta ʾi šuga wt néja | so that you will not get bad scabies from her |
