 | pošto se ne smislite | Why don't you start to think? |
 | zašto se ne razumeete | Why don't you become reasonable? |
 | zašto se ne uplašite ot bga | Why don't you fear God? |
 | zašto prestupuete zapoved bžiju | Why do you transgress the command of God? |
 | zašto proklinjaete sami sebe | Why do you curse yourselves? |
 | zašto obezъčestvuete se okajani | Why do you, wretched ones, make yourselves lose honor? |
 | zašto toliko zlo tvorite | Why do you do so much evil? |
 | i pomišljaete kako ne imatъ strašni sudъ i mučenie | And you think, that there is no terrible Judgement and (Eternal) Torment! |
 | i govorite | And you say: |

 | i ne xoštetъ mučiti zli i grešni člveci | ʺAnd He will not torture bad and sinful people.ʺ |
 | dobre rekli este po istinu i po pravdu | You have spoken in truth and justice. |
 | ljubi bgъ člveci | God (indeed) loves humans. |
 | nъ i po pravdu sudi koito sъgrešajut i tvorutъ zlo na sveki denъ | But He also justly judges (those), who sin and do evil every day, |
i ne imutъ griža da se pokajutъ | and do (lit. have) not care to repent.
 | ne li su tija dostoini za mučenie | Are those not worthy of torment? |
 | da bexъmo nija tvorili zapovedъ i volju bžiju ne bi se toliko bgъ rasrъdilъ na nasъ | If we would do God's commands and will, God would not become angry with us. |
 | možete li rekъti kako ne sogrešavate na vъsaki časъ | Can you say, that you don't sin every moment? |
 | nъ mltivi bgъ ne srъdi se zašto mlogo sъgrešavame | But the merciful God is not angry, because we do sins a lot. |
 | nъ se srъdi zašto se nikak ne pokaivame | But He is angry, because we do not repent in any way, |
i nikak se za bga ne seštame | and (because) we don't think about God at all.
 | rečete | (Let you) say: |
 | sami ot sebe možete li naiti nekoja vina na tija reči | Can you find something wrong (?) on those words? |
 | ne li vi bgъ prežde nauči | Did God not teach you earlier? |
 | ne li vi skaza kakvo zakonъ da drъžite i kakvo da veruete ime xrtovo i kakvo da se molite bgu | Did He not tell you to uphold the Law, to believe in the name of the Christ, and to pray to God? |

 | ne li raspetie pretrъte radi vas | Did He not suffer the crucifixion because of you? |
 | i paki grešnici nikakъ ne pokajut se | And, again, the sinners repent in no way. |
 | tako i vasъ učitъ vragъ da tvorite negova volja | Thus the Enemy, too, teaches you to do his bidding. |
 | i rečetъ vamъ | And he says to you: |
 | ne boite se | ʺHave no fear!ʺ |
 | mltivъ estъ bgъ | ʺGod is merciful!ʺ |
 | ne vidite li zemlъni sudnici što tvorutъ | Don't you see, what the earthly judges do? |
 | koi člveici prixodutъ pri nixъ | Those people, who come to them, |
ta imъ tvorutъ dobro i volju imъ činutъ | and do good to them, and do their will,
i oni gi milujutъ | they (the judges) give them mercy.
 | i počitatъ gi | And they respect them. |
 | i radujutъ im se | And they are happy for them. |
 | a koito tvorutъ zlo mučatъ gi | But they torture those, who do evil. |
 | i bijutъ gi | And they beat them. |
 | pomislete | Think! |
 | ne xočetъ li i bgъ takviva ljudie suditi | Will not God, too, judge such people? |
 | i paki ne ostavljatъ se zli ot zlo | And, again, the evil do not cease to (do) evil. |
 | i na vasaki denъ tvorutъ grexъ | And they do sins every day. |
 | tako i namъ kazuva stoe pisanie | And thus says the Holy Scripture to us, too. |
 | zašto ima na grešni luge mučenie teško | For there is (indeed) hard toment for sinful people. |
 | o xristijani pomislete i sami | Think by yourself, o Christians! |
 | kakvo da ne ma na grešni mčnie | How could there be no torment for the sinful ones? |
 | zašto bi tolъkova strašenъ potopъ va vreme pravednago iova | Why there was such a terrible flood in the time of righteous Job? |
 | koi pušti ot nbsa ognъ | Who sent the fire from the heavens? |
 | i pogori sadoma i gomora | And he burnt the Sodom and Gomorrah? |
 | sedmъ gradove pogorexu | Seven cities were burned down. |
 | i zli zle pogibnaxu bezakoni muželožъci | And the evil ones, the lawless homosexuals, perished. |
 | i ošte i mesto to stoi i do dnesъ i smrъdi gde su živeli onia bezakonici | And the place, where those lawless ones had lived, is still standing (?) until today and stinks. |
 | koi potopi gorъdelivago faraoˇna u čerъno more | Who drowned the haughty Pharaoh in the Black Sea? |

 | koi reče zemli da otvori usta svoi da poglъne sedъmъ xiljadi ljudie živi u crъ dvdovo vreme | Who told the earth to open its mouth, to swallow seven thousand people alive in the times of King David? |
 | koi pogubi osmъ desetъ i petъ xiljadi ljudie asirjane vъ vreme proroka isaija | Who killed eighty five thousand people of Assyria in the time of Prophet Isaiah? |
 | ne li vidimei | Don't we see? |
 | na vasaki denъ pušta bgъ na nasъ zlo | Every day, God sends evils on us, |
i gladovei teški i morija źla bezzredna i bezdъždie suša i razmirici i gonenie i plenъ | and hard famines, and evil seas (?)
 | tova e sve radi naše bezumie | All this is (happening) because of our mindlessness. |
 | zašto ne veruemo što kazuva nam stoe pisanie | Because we don't believe, what the Holy Scripture is telling us. |
 | a koi veruva nakazanie božie mlogo dobro | But (he,) who believes in the divine punishment, |
xoštetъ naiti u rai bžii | will find a lot of good in the Paradise of God,
i gradini isplъneni sasъ xubavi cvetove | and gardens filled with beautiful flowers.
 | i stъci tamo veselatъ se | And the saints rejoice there. |
 | i ne izrečeni pesni umileni pejutъ | And they sing nice, unheard of songs. |
 | a koi ne drъžutъ pravdu i istinu xoče da bude osuždenie teško na nixъ | But on those, who do not hold justice and truth, there will be a harsh judgement, |
i vъzdixanie večna muka grozna plačъ i ridanie | and moaning, and terrible, eternal torment, crying and weeping.
 | i reka ognena tečetъ | And a fiery river flows (there). |
 | i ledъ i mrazъ i mlogo zlo prigotoveno estъ tamo za grešni | And ice, and frost, and a lot of evil is prepared there for the sinful, |
koito sagrešajutъ i ne pokajut se | who are doing sins and are not (going to?) repent.
 | kakvo reče namъ xrtosъ | As the Christ told us: |
 | koi grabi čuždo svežete mu ruce i noze | ʺBind the hands and legs [of the one, who steals from another one]!ʺ |
 | i frъlete go u tmu kromešnuju | ʺAnd throw him into the outer darkness!ʺ |
 | ako li budeš objadnikъ i pijanica | If you would be a glutton and a drinker, |
a ti poslušai kakvo rekoxu bogati te člveci avramu štoto bexu u muka ta | then listen, what the rich people, who were in the Torment, said to Abraham:

 | zašto i do dnešni denъ ognъ gori tamo | Because the fire burns there even until today. |
 | ta zatova go narekoxu ne gasimi ognъ | And thus they called it indistinguishable fire. |
 | i ni edno mučenie ne ma po strašno i po teško ot adovo mčnie | And there is no (lit. not a single) torture more terrible and more harsh than the torture of Hades. |
 | kogi ulezne nekoi člvekъ nekogi u temnicu | When a man once comes into a dungeon, |
i vidi tamo xaiduci i krъvnici osuždeni na samrъtъ i u žileza okovani na šiju i na ruce i na noze | he sees there robbers and murderers, convicted to death and shackled in iron on the back, and on the hands, and on the legs,
a drugi u tumruci tureni u temno i u smradno mesto zatvoreni | and others put into wooden shackles, incarcerated in dark and stinking places.
 | ne li su strašni tija mesta | Are those places not terrible? |
 | a kogi povedutъ nasъ tamo u večnu muku da ni zatvorutъ | And when they take us there, to lock is in the Eternal Torment |
kakvo xočemo togiva tvoriti | what shall we then do?
 | ox gorъko namъ | O, (it will be) bitter for us! |
 | togiva i koito xočatъ nasъ da vodutъ u muka ta ne su kato nasъ nemoštni člveci | Then (it will be seen that those?), who will bring us into the Torment, are not like us, weak humans. |
 | nъ su angli silъni i strašni i veliki | But they are angels, strong, and terrible, and great. |
 | i mlogo srъdъbu xoštutъ da imatъ na nasъ | And they will be very angry with us. |
 | aglъ ♣ gdnъ | [Picture Text] Angel of the Lord |
 | ► zašto mlogo nie oskrъbixъmo gda bga našego iisa xrta | Because we made our Lord God sad, Jesus Christ. |

 | i crki gospodni pogazixъmo | And we stomped royal churches. |
 | i praznici xrtovi ne drъžimo | And we do not uphold the feasts of the Christ. |
 | i sštenici crkovъnici ne počitamo | And we respect not the priests (and) clerics. |
 | i rugaemo na nixъ | And we blaspheme against them. |
 | i ѱuvamo sštenici | And we curse the priests. |
 | a sštenikъ se nariča aplъ xrtovъ | But the priest is called an apostle of Christ. |
 | a vie o ne smisleni člveci ne uplašixъte se ni ot nauka ni ot sudъ moi | But you, o mindless humans, did not have fear because of teaching, nor because of my (?) judgement, |

ni ot teški snegove ni ot zli zimi ni lete ot žegu | nor heavy snows, nor bad winters, nor heat in summer,
ni ot bezdъždie ni ot grom ni ot tresakъ ni ot mlъnie strašno | nor rainless periods, nor thunder, nor quake, nor terrible thunderstorms,
ni ot voisku ni ot robъstvo ni ot plenъ agarenъski | nor wars, nor servitude, nor captivity (under) Hagarenes,
ni ot ognъ ne gasimi | nor from the inextinguishable fire.
 | no tъkmo što učitъ vasъ vragъ negovu volju tvorite | You just do the will of the Enemy, as he teaches you. |
 | i vragu ste se predali | And you have given yourself to the Enemy, |
da vi zavede u muku večnuju | so that he brings you into the Eternal Torment,
da se mučite do veka | so that you will be tortured forever.
 | i ošte kakvo reče namъ gdъ bgъ iisъ xrtosъ | And what also says the Lord God, Jesus Christ: |

 | i ne xulete gi | ʺDo not slander them!ʺ |
 | i zakonъ moi ne porazuite | ʺAnd do not break my Law!ʺ |
 | i veru moju ne uničižaite | ʺAnd do not destroy my faith!ʺ |

 | i da ukrotimъ crie zemlъni da vi ne gonutъ ezičnici prokleti agarene | ʺAnd may I make the kings of the Earth humble, so that the accursed heathens, the Hagarenes, will not persecute you.ʺ |
 | i da vi izbavimъ ot večnuju muku diavolъsku | ʺAnd may I free you from the Eternal Torment of the Devil.ʺ |
 | da vi zavedemъ u rai moi gdeto e neprestano radostъ i veselie | ʺAnd may I lead you into my Paradise, where is an endless happiness and joy.ʺ |

 | kakva xubosъ i krasota ima tamo kakvoto nikogi pametъ člvečeski ne može domisliti | How much beauty and nicety, as no human mind can think of, is there! |
 | tamo e ne izrečena blgodatъ bžia prigotovena za pravi ljudie | There is an unspoken of blessing of God prepared for the just people, |
koito su tvorili volju bžiju | who were doing will of God.
 | i nikogi ne šte bgъ osuditi pravednago člveka | And God will (wants to?) never condemn a righteous man. |
 | tъkmo koito su bogu pregrešili i zlo sotvori i ne su se pokajali | (He will condemn) only (those), who had sinned against God, and did evil, and did not repent. |
 | na takviva člveci raste osuždenie teško kato plamenъ ogneni | On such people, a harsh judgement grows as the flame of fire. |
