 | blgosloveni xrtiani poslušaite i razumeite | [Title] O blessed Christians, hear and understand! |
 | da vi skažemo za lъživago proroka i bezъbožnago eretika | [Title] Let us tell you about the false prophet and the godless heretic! |
 | oč | [Title] O Father, (...) |
 | slušaite ♣ | Listen! |
 | da rečemo kakvo piše u svetoe pisanie za lъžovni učitele | Let us say, what is written in the Holy Scripture about false teachers! |
 | božestvenoe pisanie prъvo namъ sštenikomъ zapoveduetъ ili gramatnikomъ ili inimъ čitatelemъ | First of all, the divine Scripture commands us, priests, or literates, or other readers. |
 | i posle zapoveduet mirjanomъ koi su ne iskusni načalъnici | And then it commands laymen, who are inexperienced leaders. |
 | ne mogutъ da sutъ pastire da pasutъ ovce | They cannot be shepherds, to herd sheep (?) |
 | zašto tamo okole ovce te vlъci sъbirajutъ se | Because there, around the sheep, the wolves gather. |
 | i pogubujutъ ovъce | And they kill the sheep. |
 | koe po napredъ da rečemъ za bezъbožni eretici i za prokleti lъžъsci | What should we say first about godless heretics and accursed deceivers? |
 | kako oni predavajut člveka u ruku diavolu | How do they give the man to the hands of the Devil? |
 | i nixno predanie mrъsno | And they betrayal (is) dirty. |
 | koi poverъva zemlъnago proroka diavolu se predava
 | a ne nemu | And not to him. |
 | no namъ zapoveda bgъ da projavimo nixnu zlobu na člveci | But to us God gives command to reveal their evils to men, |
da gi ne verujutъ što oni govorutъ | so that they would not believe in what they say,
da ne prelъstuvatъ člveci da gi vъvedutъ u muku večnuju | so that they would not deceive men to go to the Eternal Torment,
i da gi ne napisva tarъtaru u prokletu knigu negovu | and that he would not write them to Tartaros´ accursed book.
 | zašto su zemlъni proroci su protivnici xrtovi | Because the prophets of the Earth are enemies of Christ. |
 | i vlъci na xrtovo stado ot svude su izrinuti i iskarani ot člveci xrtovi | And the wolves are kicked and chased aways from everywhere from the flock of Christ by the people of Christ. |
 | i po pravdu narekoxu se vlъci ot proroci i ot samago xrta | And they were truly named wolves by the prophets and by the Christ himself. |
 | i ot apla pavla ne toko vlъci | And (they were called) not only wolves by the Apostle Paul, |
 | nъ i protivnici i ne čestivi diavole i zlomisalъnici | but (they were) also (called) enemies, and honorless devils, and evil-thinkers, |
i nenavistnici xulъnici prerekatele osuždenici prelъsnici kraditele razboinici krъvnici ubiici | and haters, blasphemers, arguers, convicts, deceivers, thieves, brigands, bloodthirsters, murderers,
lъžovni proroci lъžovni učitele lъžovni nastavnici slepi xodutъ i lukavi prelъsnici | false prophets, false teachers, false educators, blind walkers (?), and evil deceivers,
antixristovi slugi i sinove lukavomu zapinatelju vragu ugodni | servants of Antichrist, and sons of the evil barrier-maker, pleasing to the Enemy,
i bezbožnici i duxoborъci i xulъnici blgodati stomu dxu | and godless ones, and enemies of the Spirit, and slanderers of the gifts of Holy Spirit.
 | i koi poverъva zemlъnago i lъživago bezdušnago proroka prokletъ da bude | And may (he), who believes in the earthly, and false, soulless prophet, be accursed! |
 | če zaradi nixъ xulitъ se istini i pravi putъ bžii | For because of them the true and just way of God is being slandered. |
 | i ošte stanuli razumni kato gi naričatъ bezъumni človeci bogove ili sti | And they even became wise (?), as mindless people call them gods or saints. |
 | i oni se dignuli na božestvo kato divi | And they rushed to divinity as wild. |
 | a ne čuete li če se sami obaždatъ če su snove lukavomu vragu | And don't you hear, that they call themselves, that they are sons of the evil Enemy? |
 | i takoi se sami naričat kakvoto imъ i samъ gdъ reče | And thus they call themselves, as the Lord Himself said: |
 | vie ste ot oca vašego diavola | ʺYou are from your father, the Devil.ʺ |
 | tako ioanъ bgoslovъ reče | Thus John the Evangelist said: |
 | poznavaju se koi su čeda djavolъski | ʺThose, who are children of the Devil, are known.ʺ |
 | ta zaradi tova reče bgъ namъ xrtianomъ da ne prixodime pri takovago prelъsnika diavola i da ne slušame što govori onъ | And that is why God told us, Christians, to not go to such a deceiver (as) the Devil, and to not listen to what he says. |
 | negova ta duma e prelъštenie veliko | His word is a great deceit. |
 | ox teško tomuva člveku koi poljubi prokletomu proroku ruku i naričaet go sti | O, (it is) hard for that man, who kisses the hand of the accursed prophet, and calls him a saint! |
 | i kakvo člvekъ položi usta da celiva negovu ruku | And when a man puts mouth to kiss his hand, |
tako i onъ ednъkъ polaga diavolъski pečatъ nemu na čelo | thus he, in the same time, puts the mark of the Devil on his forehead.
 | i posle ne može otnja pečatъ | And then (you) cannot remove the mark. |
 | da se otmie sasъ vodu | May it be washed with water. |
 | ili da se otstruže sasъ nožъ | Or may it be torn by a knife. |
 | ili da go otrežešъ da go frъlišъ | Or let you cut it off, to throw it away. |
 | nikakvo ne može toja člvek izbegnuti ot ruku diavolu | That man cannot escape from the hand of the Devil by any means. |
 | zašto se e samъ zapisalъ i zamarturisalъ u ne čestivi tefterъ antixristovъ | Because he had written and testified himself into the dishonorable notebook of Antichrist. |
 | ox okajani i kratъkoumni člveci zašto ne pomislite kato xodutъ zemlъni proroci po zemlju | O, you miserable and short-minded humans, why don't you think about, how earthly prophets walk the Earth? |
 | ta propovedujut anъtixristovo ugoždenie | And announce (what is) pleasing to Antichrist? |
 | i koja pomoštъ ima ot nego | And what kind of help is there from him? |
 | a zašto go verъvate | And why do you believe in him- |
 | i poklanjate mu se | And you bow to him. |
 | i naričate go sti | And you call him a saint. |
 | a negovo to svetilo e tma i mrakъ i beskonečna večna muka | And his lamp is the darkness, and the cloud, and the endless, eternal torment. |
 | a ne čuete li xrtiani kakvo kazuva namъ stoe proročesko pisanie | And don't you hear, o Christians, what the holy prophetic Scripture tells us? |
 | xoče da doide vreme i časъ | ʺThe time will come.ʺ |
 | u mignovenie oko xoče da se svie nebo kato truba platno | ʺIn a moment, the heavens will wrap as a roll (of) cloth.ʺ |
 | i svъ stъ xoče bgъ da zbere na edno | And God will gather all the world on one (place), |
kato kogi zatvori člvekъ nekoe stado mlogo u tesna ograda | as when a man closes a big herd into a narrow enclosure.
 | togiva gde da utečeme | Where will we flee then? |
 | togiva gde da se skrieme | Where will we hide us then? |
 | togiva komu da se molime da ni izbavi ot takava tesnota | To whom will we pray then, to free us from such a narrowness? |
 | togiva xočatъ anъgeli božii sasъ trubila da vostrubutъ | Then the angels will blow trumpets, |
da se zbere svako dixanie na sudilište bžie | so that all the breathing (creatures) gather at the judgement seat of God,
da ottvori bgъ prestli rai | so that God will open the most shiny Paradise,
da uvodut anggeli pravedni dši | so that angels will lead the righteous souls in.
 | i anъtixrisъ ottvorilъ večnuju muku | And the Antichrist (has?) opened the Eternal Torment, |
da uvodutъ djavoli greši dši | so that the devils bring in the sinful souls,
da se mučutъ do veka | to be tortured forever.
 | a zemlъni prorokъ i lъžovni prelъsnikъ i bezъbožni eretikъ | And the earthly prophet, and the false deceiver, and the godless heretic, |
onъ sa tefterъ stoi | he stands with a notebook.
 | i gleda u negovo to pisanie djavolъsko | And he looks into his devilish writing. |
 | koi e nego poverъvalъ i ruku mu poljubilъ samъ se e sebe diavolu predalъ | He, who has believed in him and kissed his hand, gave himself by himself over to the Devil. |
 | i koi mu e krivo da ne jade i pie sasъ nego | And he, who feels wronged, should not eat and drink with him. |
 | tamo xoštutъ da se lučutъ pravedni ot grešni | There, the righteous will separate from the sinful, |
ot onaja ograda na strugu | from that enclosure towards the ford (?),
kato kogi luči pastirъ ovci ot kozi | as when a shepherd separates sheep from the goats.
 | tamo xoče da bude straxъ velikъ | There will be a great fear. |
 | tamo xoče da bude plačъ i žalъba ne domislena | There will be cry and unthinkable sorrow. |
 | tamo xoštutъ djavole sa čenъgele da vlačutъ tija člveci što gi e zapečatilъ zemlъni prokleti prorokъ | There, the devils will pull with hooks those people, whom the accursed earthly prophet had marked. |
 | uvi okajani i prelъsteni siromasi .:. člveci | Woe (to the?) wretched and deceived poor ones, the humans! |
 | kakvo toliko mučenie da trъput | How can they suffer so much torment? |
 | uvi straxъ velikъ | Alas, the great fear! |
 | uvi u koliko ognъ gorutъ | Alas, in how much fire they burn! |
 | uvi koliko žalъba imutъ okajani člveci te | Alas, how much sorrow the wretched people have! |
 | plačutъ | They cry. |
 | i žalutъ | And they are sorrowful. |
 | a djavole te pejutъ | And the devils sing. |
 | i igrajut | And they dance. |
 | i smejut se | And they laugh. |
 | i bijut gi prezъ usta | And they beat them through the mouths. |
 | i onia zločesti člveci xoštutъ da rečutъ | And those dishonorable men will say: |
 | zašto nasъ tuka uvedoxъte da se mučimo do veka | ʺWhy did you bring us here to torment us forever?ʺ |
 | a zemlъni proro xoče da reče imъ | And the earthly prophet will say: |
 | vie sami mene pomolixъte | ʺYou alone asked me (for it).ʺ |
 | i pečatъ vaš sasъ usta vaši mene na ruku turixъte | ʺAnd you put your mark with your mouths on hand.ʺ (?) |
 | i ja vamъ pečatъ moi na čelo vaše položixъ | ʺAnd I put my mark on your forehead.ʺ |
 | i zapisaxъ | ʺAnd I wrote (it) down.ʺ |
 | i podmazaxъ | ʺAnd I smeared it.ʺ |
 | i utvrъdixъ tefterъ ugodniku moemu anъtixristu i ocu moemu dragomu tarъturu | ʺAnd I bound the notebook for my friend Antichrist and my dear father Tartaros.ʺ |
 | i vie mene ne narekoxte li sti | ʺDid you not have called me a saint?ʺ |
 | vie sasъ mene ne jadoxъte li | ʺDid you not eat with me?ʺ |
 | vie sasъ mene ne pixъte li | ʺDid you not drink with me?ʺ |
 | vie sasъ mene ne beseduvaxъte li | ʺDid you not talk with me?ʺ |
 | vie sasъ mene xoro ne igraxъte li | ʺDid you not dance horo with me?ʺ |
 | ne znaete li | ʺDon't you know?ʺ |
 | kogi se digaxu po putišta praxove ja vamъ pokazuvaxъ | ʺWhen the dust rose on the roads, I was showing you (the way).ʺ |
 | tova beše mati moja karakacila | ʺThat was my mother, Karakacila.ʺ |
 | ona vi napredъ vodeše | ʺShe was leading you in front.ʺ |
 | i vie po nea idexъte | ʺAnd you followed her.ʺ |
 | a sъga se otričate | ʺAnd now you renounce (her)!ʺ |
 | kakvo ne ste mene ugodnici | ʺHow (could you think that) you are not my friends?ʺ |
 | čuete li xrtiani kakvo piše u stoe pisanie | Do you hear, o Christians, what is written in the Holy Scripture? |
 | a što reče aptlъ pavelъ | And (hear) what did Apostle Paul say: |
 | načexu nužni vremena da xodut | ʺThe fierce times began to come.ʺ |
 | i mlogo bezakonię umnožiša se | ʺAnd a lot of lawlessnesses multiplied.ʺ |
 | i prelъsnici mnogo stanaxu | ʺAnd the deceivers became many.ʺ |
 | nъ nija da otvorime knigi sštenix | But let us open the holy books! |
 | da naidemo u knigi te stoe pisanie proročesko i aptolъsko | Let us find in those books holy writing of the Prophets and Apostles. |
 | da pročetemo i xrtianomъ | Let us read it to Christians too. |
 | da prikažemo da ne bi se i nie prelъstili | Let us tell, so that they would not be deceived. |
 | da ne ostanemo dole
 | nъ da idemo gore sasъ naši učitele i apostoli na goru visokuju da slušamo dobrago našego pastira xrta što onъ duma | But let us go upwards with our teachers and apostles, on a high mountain, to hear our Good Shepherd, the Christ, what he says: |
 | zrite | ʺLook!ʺ |
 | i vidite | ʺAnd see!ʺ |
 | ne prelъštaite se | ʺDo not get deceived!ʺ |
 | tako i sti ioanъ zlatoustъ reče | Thus also St. John Chrysostom said: |
 | smotrite sebe | ʺObserve yourself!ʺ |
 | i ne zagubuite se | ʺAnd do not get lost!ʺ |
 | tako i apostoli rekoxu | Thus also the Apostles said: |
 | čuvaite se ot ѱeta | ʺGuard yourself from dogs!ʺ |
 | gledaite kakvo životuete | ʺLook, how you live!ʺ |
 | ostrežete se | ʺFortify yourself!ʺ |
 | i boite se ot koito vasъ prelъštajutъ | ʺAnd fear those, who deceive you!ʺ |
 | če oni su vlъci oblečeni u ovъči koži | ʺFor they are wolves clad in sheep skins.ʺ |
 | i pokrivajutъ sebe | ʺAnd they cover themselves.ʺ |
 | i prelъštajutъ slabo umni | ʺAnd they deceive the weak-minded.ʺ |
 | i po svude u stoe pisanie govoritъ | And everywhere in the Holy Scripture, they say: |
 | zrite | ʺLook!ʺ |
 | i vidite | ʺAnd see!ʺ |
 | i čuvaite se | ʺAnd guard yourself!ʺ |
 | ne prelъštaite se | ʺDo not let yourself be deceived!ʺ |
 | tako namъ pisanie govoritъ | Thus the Scripture speaks to us. |
 | ni edna duma ne pokrivaite | Do not hide a single word! |
 | i ne premlъknuvaite | Do not conceal (it in speech)! |
 | nъ sve pravo izvestete xtianomъ | But correctly announce everything to Christians! |
 | zašto nekoi učitele crkovni tako rekoxu | Because some of the teachers of the Church said so. |
 | sštenik ili vldka dlъženъ estъ da pokaže xtianomъ pravilo | A priest or bishop is obligated to show the way to Christians. |
 | zašto se sštenikъ nariča pastirъ | Because a priest is called a shepherd. |
 | a xrtiani naričatъ se xrtovi ovъci | And the Christians are called sheep of Christ. |
 | i tako xubavo i krotko da prixodutъ xrtiani u crъkovъ bžiju na svaki praznikъ i u svaku stuju nedelju | And thus nicely and meekly, may all Christians come to a Church of God on each feast and each holy Sunday. |
 | zašto e sveka sveta ndlja voskrenie xrtovo | Because every holy Sunday is (a day of) Resurrection of Christ. |
 | da poslušate stoe pisanie da vi se vrazumi umъ | May you listen to the Holy Scripture, so that your mind will be reasonable. |
 | i da obrъnete srdce vaše kamъto bga | And may you turn your heart(s) towards God. |
 | i bgъ da se umilostivi na vasъ sasъ svoju blgodatъ | And may God has mercy towards you with His blessings. |
 | a koito člveci ne prixodutъ u ckvu na utrenju ili na stuju liturъgiju gorъko na negovu glavu | And those people, who do not come to church for a morning (service) or the holy liturgy, (it is going to be) bitter for his (their?) head(s). |
 | do konъca prelъstilъ se estъ | He has totally deceived himself. |
 | i djavolu se predalъ | And he gave over himself to the Devil. |
 | a koito se naričatъ pastire oni se zovutъ aptlъski namesnici | And those, who are called shepherds, are (also) called deputies of the Apostles. |
 | nъ koi sštenikъ ne radi da pokaže xrtianomъ skazanie podobno estъ da se reče | But (to) a priest, who does not work to show Christians the Scripture, it is appropriate to say: |
 | ox gorъko takovomu slepomu nastavniku | O, woe to such a blind advisor! |
 | i ne razumnimъ | And (that he is) unreasonable. |
 | i ne nakazanimъ | And (that he is) undisciplined. |
 | i ne utvrъždenimъ | And (that he is) not strong (in faith?). |
 | tъkmo sasъ odeždi ukrašeni | Only with nice clothes! |
 | takovi ne nakazani sštenici otlučajutъ se ot stago prestola | Such undisciplined priests separate themselves from the holy throne. |
 | kakvo se trudišъ sšteniče da pasešъ stado xrtovo | How (much) do you work, o priest, to herd the flock of Christ, |
da zemešъ maslo i mleko i vlъna i svekakvo dobro ot nixъ | to take the fat and milk and wool and all the goods from them!
 | a za ovci nikakъ ne radite | But you are not doing anything for the sheep! |
 | kakvo xoštete bgu otvetъ dati na strašni sudъ | How are you going to give answers at the terrible Judgement (day)? |
 | i kakvo možete ubežati ot toliko vaše neradenie | How can you escape from so much idleness? |
 | za svoe spnie ne potrudixъte se | You did not work a bit for your salvation. |
 | i azъ mislimъ ošte dumi da prostremъ ot stoe ieѵlie i ot proroci i ot apli | And I think about spreading out words from the holy Gospel, and from the Prophets, and from the Apostles. |
 | xs mi xoče pomognuti da se zatvorutъ usta svekomu koi govorutъ nepravъdu | The Christ will help me, so that the mouth of everyone, who speaks false, will be shut. |
 | a koito ljubutъ slovo ot skazanie | But (to those), who love the word from Scripture, |
da im se prosveti srdce | may their heart will shine!
 | vrata raiski da imъ su otvoreni | May the gates of the Paradise are open to them! |
 | tako zapoveda bgъ sštenikomъ | Thus God commanded the priests, |
da prikazujutъ čъsto stoe pisanie | to tell the Holy Scripture often,
da ne prelъštajutъ se člveci | so that the people do not get deceived.
 | tova dlъženъ estъ sveštenikъ | A priest is obliged to do so. |
 | na sveki časъ a ne tъkъmo na sveki praznikъ da prikazva | (He should) tell it every time, and not only on holy feasts. |
 | i da plače | And to weep. |
 | i samъ sebe da razmotri što se nariča sštenikъ | And may he find by himself, why is he called a priest. |
 | eli se nariča aplъ | Does he call himself an apostle? |
 | ili mirъska vinopiica | Or (does he call himself) a worldly wine-drinker? |
 | i koi nasilujut sštenika i ukoritъ go | And he, who does violance against a priest, and who slanders him, |
da mu oledenee srdce kato železo | may his heart freezes like iron!
 | i da mu se svežetъ jazikъ | And may his tongue becomes bound! |
 | tako reče xrtosъ | Thus spoke the Christ. |
 | i upisa | And he wrote (thus). |
 | i reče sšteniku | And he said to a priest: |
 | ovrъzi si oči da ne prelъštiši se ti | ʺUnbind your eyes, so that you will not get deceived,ʺ |
i da ne prelъštajutъ se člveci | ʺand so that people don't get deceived.ʺ
 | zašto na tija naši zločesti dni mlozina stanutъ | ʺBecause in these our evil days, many stand up.ʺ |
 | i rečutъ | ʺAnd they say:ʺ |
 | azъ esmъ xs | ʺI am the Christ.ʺ |
 | i mlogo slabo umni prelъštajutъ se | ʺAnd many weak-minded are getting deceived.ʺ |
 | i paki dumamъ vamъ | And again, I tell you: |
 | čuvaite se ot lъžovni prorokъ | Guard yourself from false prophets! |
 | zašto prixodutъ pri vasъ u odeždi ovči | Because they come to you in sheep's clothing. |
 | a unutre su vlъci i xišъtnici | But inside, they are wolves and predators. |
 | čuvaite se ot nixъ | Guard yourself from them! |
 | zašto gnilo drъvo ne može da rodi plodъ blgu | Because a rotten tree cannot produce good fruit. |
 | zašto drъvo po rožъbu poznava se | Because a tree is known by its fruit. |
 | ili e sladъko | It is either sweet, |
 | ili e gorъko | or it is bitter. |
 | tako i vie xrtiani | |
kogi poznaete takovago satanina i lъžovna i prokleta prelъsnika | when you recognize such a Satan and false and accursed deceiver,
ne priimaite gi u domi vaši | do not accept them in your houses!
 | i ne raduite se imъ | And do not be happy for them! |
 | i ne dumaite sasъ nix | And do not speak with them! |
 | ni da gi popitate za nekoja duma | Do not even ask them about some word! |
 | i kogi oni nešto popitatъ vasъ ne otgovaraite imъ nikakva duma | And when they ask you something, do not answer them (with) any word! |
 | i ne postavljaite biserъ predъ svinie | And do not put pearls in front of swine! |
 | i nikoi ot vasъ da se ne oskrъbi radi tija reči | And may none of you becomes sad because of those words! |
 | azъ ot sebe ne izmislixъ tija reči | I did not invent these words by myself. |
 | nъ samъ gdъ našъ iisъ xrtosъ govoritъ | But our Lord Himself, Jesus Christ, speaks thus. |
 | vsegda nině i pri | (To Him be glory) always, now and (forever). |
