Title] Let us tell you about the false prophet and the godless heretic! |
Title] O Father, (...) |
Listen! |
Let us say, what is written in the Holy Scripture about false teachers! |
First of all, the divine Scripture commands us, priests, or literates, or other readers. |
And then it commands laymen, who are inexperienced leaders. |
They cannot be shepherds, to herd sheep (?) |
Because there, around the sheep, the wolves gather. |
And they kill the sheep. |
What should we say first about godless heretics and accursed deceivers? |
How do they give the man to the hands of the Devil? |
And they betrayal (is) dirty. |
And not to him. |
But to us God gives command to reveal their evils to men, |
да ги не верꙋ́ють що ѡнѝ гово́рꙋть | so that they would not believe in what they say,
да нѐ прельстꙋ́вать; чл҃веци да ги вьведꙋ́ть ꙋ мꙋкꙋ ве́чнꙋю | so that they would not deceive men to go to the Eternal Torment,
҆и да ги не написва тар͛тáрꙋ ꙋ прокле́тꙋ кни́гꙋ него́вꙋ | and that he would not write them to Tartaros´ accursed book.
Because the prophets of the Earth are enemies of Christ. |
And the wolves are kicked and chased aways from everywhere from the flock of Christ by the people of Christ. |
And they were truly named wolves by the prophets and by the Christ himself. |
And (they were called) not only wolves by the Apostle Paul, |
 | нь ҆и проти́вници ҆и не чести́ви диӑволе ҆и зломисальници | but (they were) also (called) enemies, and honorless devils, and evil-thinkers, |
҆á҆нтихристови слꙋги ҆и си́нове лꙋкáвомꙋ запинáтелю врáгꙋ ꙋго́дни | servants of Antichrist, and sons of the evil barrier-maker, pleasing to the Enemy,
҆и безбо́жници ҆и дꙋхобор͛ци ҆и хꙋл͛ници бл҃годáти ст҃омꙋ дх҃ꙋ | and godless ones, and enemies of the Spirit, and slanderers of the gifts of Holy Spirit.
And may (he), who believes in the earthly, and false, soulless prophet, be accursed! |
For because of them the true and just way of God is being slandered. |
And they even became wise (?), as mindless people call them gods or saints. |
And they rushed to divinity as wild. |
And don't you hear, that they call themselves, that they are sons of the evil Enemy? |
And thus they call themselves, as the Lord Himself said: |
You are from your father, the Devil.ʺ |
Thus John the Evangelist said: |
Those, who are children of the Devil, are known.ʺ |
 | та зарадѝ товà ре́че бг҃ь нáмь хр͒тиӑномь да нѐ прихо́диме при́ тако́ваго прель́сника диӑвола ҆и да не слꙋ́шаме що гово́ри ҆о́нь | And that is why God told us, Christians, to not go to such a deceiver (as) the Devil, and to not listen to what he says. |
His word is a great deceit. |
O, (it is) hard for that man, who kisses the hand of the accursed prophet, and calls him a saint! |
And when a man puts mouth to kiss his hand, |
тако̀ ҆и ѡнь ҆еднькь по;лáга диавол͛ски печáть не́мꙋ на чело̀ | thus he, in the same time, puts the mark of the Devil on his forehead.
And then (you) cannot remove the mark. |
May it be washed with water. |
Or may it be torn by a knife. |
Or let you cut it off, to throw it away. |
That man cannot escape from the hand of the Devil by any means. |
Because he had written and testified himself into the dishonorable notebook of Antichrist. |
 | ѡͯ ҆ѡкаıӑни ҆и крат͛коꙋмни чл҃веци защо не поми́слите като̀ ходꙋть зе́мльни про́роци по зе́млю | O, you miserable and short-minded humans, why don't you think about, how earthly prophets walk the Earth? |
And announce (what is) pleasing to Antichrist? |
And what kind of help is there from him? |
And why do you believe in him- |
And you bow to him. |
And you call him a saint. |
And his lamp is the darkness, and the cloud, and the endless, eternal torment. |
And don't you hear, o Christians, what the holy prophetic Scripture tells us? |
The time will come.ʺ |
In a moment, the heavens will wrap as a roll (of) cloth.ʺ |
And God will gather all the world on one (place), |
като коги; затво́ри чл҃векь некое стáдо млого ꙋ те́сна ҆ѡгрáда | as when a man closes a big herd into a narrow enclosure.
Where will we flee then? |
Where will we hide us then? |
To whom will we pray then, to free us from such a narrowness? |
Then the angels will blow trumpets, |
да сѐ збе́ре свáко диханїе на сꙋди́лище бж҃їе | so that all the breathing (creatures) gather at the judgement seat of God,
да ѿтво́ри бг҃ь пре́ст҃ли рáй | so that God will open the most shiny Paradise,
да ꙋводꙋт ҆áнг҃гели прáведни дш҃и | so that angels will lead the righteous souls in.
And the Antichrist (has?) opened the Eternal Torment, |
да ꙋводꙋть дꙗ́воли гре́ши дш҃и | so that the devils bring in the sinful souls,
да се мꙋчꙋть до века | to be tortured forever.
And the earthly prophet, and the false deceiver, and the godless heretic, |
҆о́нь с͒а тефте́рь сто́й | he stands with a notebook.
And he looks into his devilish writing. |
He, who has believed in him and kissed his hand, gave himself by himself over to the Devil. |
And he, who feels wronged, should not eat and drink with him. |
There, the righteous will separate from the sinful, |
ѿ ѡнáꙗ ҆ѡгрáда на стрꙋгꙋ | from that enclosure towards the ford (?),
като̀ коги лꙋчи пасти́рь ҆овци ѿ козѝ | as when a shepherd separates sheep from the goats.
There will be a great fear. |
There will be cry and unthinkable sorrow. |
 | тамо хощꙋть дꙗволе с͒а чен͛геле да влáчꙋть ти́ꙗ чл҃веци що̂ гї е запечáтиль земльни прокле́ти пророкь | There, the devils will pull with hooks those people, whom the accursed earthly prophet had marked. |
Woe (to the?) wretched and deceived poor ones, the humans! |
How can they suffer so much torment? |
Alas, the great fear! |
Alas, in how much fire they burn! |
Alas, how much sorrow the wretched people have! |
 | плáчꙋть | They cry. |
And they are sorrowful. |
And the devils sing. |
And they dance. |
And they laugh. |
And they beat them through the mouths. |
And those dishonorable men will say: |
Why did you bring us here to torment us forever?ʺ |
And the earthly prophet will say: |
You alone asked me (for it).ʺ |
And you put your mark with your mouths on hand.ʺ (?) |
And I put my mark on your forehead.ʺ |
And I wrote (it) down.ʺ |
And I smeared it.ʺ |
And I bound the notebook for my friend Antichrist and my dear father Tartaros.ʺ |
Did you not have called me a saint?ʺ |
Did you not eat with me?ʺ |
Did you not drink with me?ʺ |
Did you not talk with me?ʺ |
Did you not dance horo with me?ʺ |
Don't you know?ʺ |
When the dust rose on the roads, I was showing you (the way).ʺ |
That was my mother, Karakacila.ʺ |
She was leading you in front.ʺ |
And you followed her.ʺ |
And now you renounce (her)!ʺ |
How (could you think that) you are not my friends?ʺ |
Do you hear, o Christians, what is written in the Holy Scripture? |
And (hear) what did Apostle Paul say: |
The fierce times began to come.ʺ |
And a lot of lawlessnesses multiplied.ʺ |
And the deceivers became many.ʺ |
But let us open the holy books! |
Let us find in those books holy writing of the Prophets and Apostles. |
Let us read it to Christians too. |
Let us tell, so that they would not be deceived. |
 | нь да ҆идемо го́ре сáсь нáши ꙋчи́теле ҆и апо́столи на го́рꙋ висо́кꙋю да слꙋ́шамо добраго нáшего пасти́ра хр͒та що ҆ѡнь дꙋ́ма | But let us go upwards with our teachers and apostles, on a high mountain, to hear our Good Shepherd, the Christ, what he says: |
Look!ʺ |
And see!ʺ |
Do not get deceived!ʺ |
Thus also St. John Chrysostom said: |
Observe yourself!ʺ |
And do not get lost!ʺ |
Thus also the Apostles said: |

Fortify yourself!ʺ |
And fear those, who deceive you!ʺ |
For they are wolves clad in sheep skins.ʺ |
And they cover themselves.ʺ |
And they deceive the weak-minded.ʺ |
And everywhere in the Holy Scripture, they say: |
Look!ʺ |
And see!ʺ |
And guard yourself!ʺ |
Do not let yourself be deceived!ʺ |
Thus the Scripture speaks to us. |
Do not hide a single word! |
Do not conceal (it in speech)! |
But correctly announce everything to Christians! |
Because some of the teachers of the Church said so. |
A priest or bishop is obligated to show the way to Christians. |
Because a priest is called a shepherd. |
And the Christians are called sheep of Christ. |
 | ҆и тáко хꙋ́баво ҆и кротко да прихо́дꙋть хр͒тиӑни ꙋ црько́вь бж҃ию на свáки прáзникь ҆и ꙋ; свáкꙋ ст҃ꙋю неде́лю | And thus nicely and meekly, may all Christians come to a Church of God on each feast and each holy Sunday. |
Because every holy Sunday is (a day of) Resurrection of Christ. |
May you listen to the Holy Scripture, so that your mind will be reasonable. |
And may you turn your heart(s) towards God. |
And may God has mercy towards you with His blessings. |
 | ҆á който чл҃ве́ци не прихо̀дꙋть ꙋ ц҃квꙋ на ꙋтреню ҆или на ст҃ꙋю литꙋр͛гию гор͛ко на него́вꙋ главꙋ; | And those people, who do not come to church for a morning (service) or the holy liturgy, (it is going to be) bitter for his (their?) head(s). |
He has totally deceived himself. |
And he gave over himself to the Devil. |
And those, who are called shepherds, are (also) called deputies of the Apostles. |
But (to) a priest, who does not work to show Christians the Scripture, it is appropriate to say: |
O, woe to such a blind advisor! |
And (that he is) unreasonable. |
And (that he is) undisciplined. |
And (that he is) not strong (in faith?). |
Only with nice clothes! |
Such undisciplined priests separate themselves from the holy throne. |
How (much) do you work, o priest, to herd the flock of Christ, |
да зе́мешь; мáсло ҆и мле́ко ҆и вльна ҆и све́какво добро̀ ѿ ни́хь | to take the fat and milk and wool and all the goods from them!
But you are not doing anything for the sheep! |
How are you going to give answers at the terrible Judgement (day)? |
