2:	oče blgvi pročesti mol	[Title] O Father, bless the reader (by the prayers...)!
3:	vozljubleni moi bratija	My beloved brothers,
	koi ot vasъ ima suetno bogatъstvo mlogo ili malko	whoever of you has vain wealth, a lot or a little,
	ne prilagaite srdce vaše na nego	do not put your heart on it!
4:	zašto na bogatastvo slava prexodit	Because the glory of wealth perishes.
5:	i i sveka xubosъ srebrena i zlatena toa proxoditъ	And all the beauty of silver and gold, that (?) perishes.
6:	i raznositъ se	And it is carried away.
7:	i zašto tolъkova trudi se člvekъ da spečali mlogo imane	And why does the man work so much to gain a lot of wealth?
8:	pošto lakomia	Because (of) greed!
9:	i kara se	And he struggles,
10:	i bie se dogde si naplъni oči i srdce sasъ imane	and he fights, until he fills his eyes and heart with wealth.
11:	a kogi doide strašni časъ samrъtni ne može ni malo nešto da zanese sasъ sebe	And when the terrible time of death comes, he cannot take anything with him.
12:	nъ goli xočemo da stanemo pred strašnoe sudište	But we will appear naked in front of the terrible judgement seat.
13:	tamo aggeli so straxomъ predъstojutъ	Angels stand in front with fear there.

15:	tamo knigi otvarajutъ se	Books are being opened there.
16:	tamo reka ognena tečetъ	A fiery river flows there.
17:	tamo črъvja gimъžutъ	The worms swarm there.
18:	i ne umirajutъ	And they don't die.
19:	tamo e i mlogo glъčni tarъtarъ	The very noise Tartaros is also there.
20:	tamo neprestano skrъžutъ diavoli sasъ zubi na nasъ	The devils endlessly gnash their teeth at us there.
21:	tamo gorki i ne utešeni žalosti i kajanie	There (is) bitter and unquenchable sorrow and regret.
22:	tamo e ne prestani plačъ i ridanie	There is endless cry and weeping.
23:	tamo neprestano vozdixanie	There (is) endless moaning.
24:	tamo ne imatъ ni malo utešenie i veselie	There there is not a bit of consolation and joy.
25:	tъkmo plačъ i ridanie	(There is) only cry and weeping.
26:	tamo ne imatъ ni malo stъ	There is no light,
27:	no tma i mrakъ	(there is) only darkness.
28:	tamo ne imatъ opravdanie	There is no justification,
29:	no sudъ i osuždenie	but (there is) judgement and sentence.
30:	tamo strašno e što vidišъ sasъ oči	There, it is terrible, what you see with the eyes.
31:	a po strašno e što čuešъ sasъ uši	But it is more terrible, what you hear with the ears.
32:	kogi doide časъ	When the time comes,
	u mignovenie oko svako zdanie xoče da oživee	in a blink of an eye, all the creation will become alive,
	da stane na strašnoe sudište	to appear at the terrible judgement seat,
	da dade bgu џuvapъ za svoe delo	to give God an answer for its works.
33:	tamo ima veliki straxъ i veliki trepetъ	There is a great fear and trembling.
34:	togiva u onja veliki časъ nužni xoštutъ trubila da vastrubutъ	Then, at that great time of need, the trumpets will be blown.
35:	togiva zvezdi če da spadnutъ o nbsa	Then, the stars will fall from the heaven.
36:	togiva šte slъnъce da pomrъkne	Then, the sun will darken.
37:	togiva nebo xoče da se svie	Then, the heavens will fold.
38:	togiva i zemlja xoče da se dovrъši	Then, the Earth, too, will end.
39:	i svi aggeli so straxomъ služutъ bgu edinomu	And all the angels serve the One God with fear.
40:	a serafimi xorotujutъ jasno	And the Seraphim speak clearly.
41:	xeruvimi gore i dole frъčutъ	The Cherubim fly up and down.
42:	i tъštutъ se	And they work hard.
43:	preobraštatъ nebesa i zelmlъna i preispodnjaja	They transform the Heavens, and the Earth, and the Underworld.
44:	i sve dovrъšajutъ	And they end everything.
45:	i grobove otvarajutъ	And they open the graves.
46:	i mrъtvi tela oživevatъ	And dead bodies become alive.
47:	i stajutъ	And they stand up.
48:	sudilišta gotovljajut se	The judgement seats are being prepared.
49:	tamo ima mlogo straxъ i ne izrečeni trepetъ	There is a lot of fear, and unspeakable trembling,
	i ne domislъni nuždi i veliki pogibelъ	and unimaginable needs, and great destruction,
	i veliko zlonaxoždenie zlopolučenie i velika mlъva	and great mishappening, misfortunes, and great murmur.
50:	no da poslušamo proroka danila što duma	But let us hear Prophet Daniel, what he does say:

52:	vъ nošti na sъnъ vidox reče dogde prestoli postaviša se	ʺI saw in a dream at night,ʺ he said, ʺas the thrones were built.ʺ
53:	i posede nekoi denъ na nego gdъ	ʺAnd one day, the Lord sat on it.ʺ
54:	prestolъ negovъ kato plamenъ ogneni	ʺHis throne (was) as a fiery flame.ʺ
55:	kola ta negovi ognъ palešt	ʺIts wheels (were of) a burning fire.ʺ
56:	xiljadi aggeli predъ nego stoexu	ʺThousands of angels stood in front of Him.ʺ
57:	i do mrak služaxa mu	ʺAnd they served Him until darkness.ʺ
58:	i onъ na sudnicu sedeše	ʺAnd He sat on a judgement seat.ʺ
59:	i knigi razgnuša se	ʺAnd books were opened.ʺ
60:	reka ognena predъ prestola tečetъ	ʺA river of flame flows in front of the throne.ʺ

63:	što xočeme tvoriti kogi svi goli predstanemo pred bga	What we will do, when we all stand, naked, in front of God?
64:	i svakomu grexъ na šiju visitъ	And sin hangs on everyone's back.
65:	togiva gde su lъžovni fulъnici	Where are (going to be) then the false blasphemers?
66:	ezikъ nixan na ognъ xoče da gori	Their tongue will be burning on a fire!
67:	togiva na klevetnici usta xočet da strošutъ aggle štoto stojutъ predъ bga	Then, the angels, who stay in front of God, will crush the mouths of slanderers.
68:	togiva na srebroljubъci ruke otbiti	Then, the hands of the silver-lovers (will be) sundered.
69:	visutъ	They (will?) hang.
70:	i tresutъ se	And they (will?) tremble.
71:	i ne mogutъ da gi zberutъ do sebe	And they (will) not be able to bring them together (?)
72:	togiva koito su oči namigvali sasъ udici xočutъ da gi izvadutъ	Then, they will remove the eyes of those, who blinked, with hooks (?)
73:	gde su togiva oci	Where are (will be?) the eyes? (?)
74:	gde su čeda	Where are the children?
75:	gde su srodnici	Where are the relatives?
76:	gde e maikja	Where is the mother?
77:	gde su ljubimaja bratija i štoto si znaexmo družina	Where are the beloved brothers and friends, whom we knew?
78:	gde su crie zemlъsti	Where are the kings of the Earth?
79:	gde e načalъstvo i volja	Where is the authority and power?
80:	gde e sudnikъ i veliko krivoglednikъ	Where is the judge and the one looking with skewered eyes (?) ?
81:	gde su rizi i priliki	Where are the shirts and ornaments?
82:	gde su xubavi obuštia i premeni i šareni čorapi na smrъdeli noze	Where are the beautiful shoes and ornamented and colorful socks on the stinking feet?
83:	gde e sva xubostъ i prilika na pogano telo	Where is all the beauty and ornaments of the heathenish body?
84:	gde e mlogo imane pripečaleno	Where is the lot of property gained by additional work (?) ?
85:	gde su zlateni xubosti	Where is the golden beautiful stuff?
86:	gde e zlateni i srebreni zvokotъ	Where is the clatter (?) of golden and silver (plates?) ?
87:	gde su na tъnъki prъsti zlatni prъstene i bezъceni kamene	Where are the golden rings and priceless stones on the delicate fingers?
88:	gde su xubavi gradini i plodoviti drъvja	Where are the beautiful gardens and fruitful trees?
89:	gde su riznici sasъ imane	Where are the stashes with property?
90:	gde su srъpii sasъ xranu	Where are the sickles (?) with food?
91:	gde su tia štoto ne prigledvaxu siromasi	Where are those, who did not take heed of the poor?
92:	gde su tia štoto ne počitaxu blgočestivu veru	Where are those, who did not respect the true faith?
93:	gde su ne verъni prelъšni gotovi na mučenie	Where are the faithless ones, the deceived ones (?), ready for tortures?
94:	gde su lъživi što dumaxu	Where are the false ones, who were saying:
95:	dai mi dneska brašno ili srebro na zaemъ	ʺToday, give me flour or silver as a loan!ʺ
96:	i jutre uzmi	ʺAnd tomorrow, take (it back)!ʺ
97:	i posle rečetъ	And then he says:
98:	ništo ne si mi dalъ	ʺYou have given me nothing!ʺ
99:	gde su tia što sasъ igri jadexu i piexu	Where are those, who were eating and drinking with dances?
100:	gde su tia koito govorexu	Where are those, who were saying:
101:	dneska da jademo i da pieme	ʺToday, let us eat and drink!ʺ
102:	i za utra xočemo da umreme	ʺAnd tomorrow, we will die!ʺ
103:	gde su tia što mlogo smexъ i veselъba tvorexu	Where are those, who were doing much fun and parties?
104:	a gde su tia što dumaxu	And where are those, who were saying:
105:	bgъ ljubi člveci	ʺGod loves humans.ʺ
106:	i ne xoštetъ mučiti koi su grešni	ʺAnd (thus), He will not torment (those), who are sinful.ʺ
107:	gde su tia štoto dumaxu	Where are those, who were saying:
108:	xočemo se pokajati	ʺWe will repent!ʺ
109:	i nikakvo ne pomislixu da se pokajutъ	And they did not mind to repent in no way.
110:	ox koliko xoštutъ tamo vozdixati	O, how much will they moan there!
111:	i ne štutъ pomiluvani da budutъ ot bga	And they will not be forgiven by God.
112:	togiva xočutъ da rečutъ	Then, they will say:
113:	na šega i sasъ maskara pogubixъme sebe	ʺWe destroyed ourselves with jokes and fun.ʺ
114:	o gorъko nam	ʺO, woe to us!ʺ
115:	mnogo luge učixu nasъ	ʺMany people taught us.ʺ
116:	i nikogo ne poslušaxъme	ʺAnd we did not listen to anyone.ʺ
117:	i koito ni učexu mie i nixъ ѱuvaxъme	ʺAnd we even cursed those, who taught us.ʺ
118:	i dobre ni pokazvaxu pravilo	ʺAnd they were showing us the way well.ʺ
119:	a nie ne verъvaxmo	ʺAnd we did not believe.ʺ
120:	i ot pisanie prelъstixъme se	ʺAnd we were deceived by the Scripture (?)ʺ
121:	ox gorъko namъ	ʺO, woe to us!ʺ
122:	vidite li kakvo su pravedni sudъbi bžii bili	ʺDo you see, how righteous have the judgements of God have been?ʺ
123:	a nie kakvo pravixmo tako i naidoxъmo	ʺAnd how we did, thus we found it.ʺ
124:	ox tešъko namъ	ʺO, it is hard for us!ʺ
125:	zaradi suetnoe malo naslaždenie pogubixme večni blgъ	ʺFor a bit of vain enjoyment, we lost the eternal bliss.ʺ
126:	va malo vreme oblenixъmo se	ʺIn a short time, we were lazy.ʺ
127:	i vъ večnago ognja osudixъmo se	ʺAnd we doomed ourselves into the eternal fire.ʺ
128:	xočatъ grešni na pravedni da rečutъ	The sinners will tell to the righteous:
129:	nija ne bixmo dostoini da priidemo vъ večnaja blga	ʺWe were not worthy to come to the eternal bliss.ʺ
130:	zašto vie ne prelъstiste se	ʺFor you did not get deceived,ʺ
	kakvoto nię sami sebe predadoxъmo na mučenie	ʺas we gave ourselves over to torture.ʺ
131:	i plačeme	ʺAnd we weep.ʺ
132:	i molimo se	ʺAnd we pray.ʺ
133:	i ni edinъ ne imatъ da pomiluva nasъ	ʺAnd not a single one is going to have mercy on us.ʺ
134:	dostignaxъmo konečnago časa	ʺWe reached the final hour.ʺ
135:	čuete li xrtiani kakvo namъ kazuva pravilo	Do you hear, o Christians, what does the Law say to us?
136:	tako i nija dogde sme živi na toja stъ da pomenemo ime bžie	Thus, may we, too, as long as we are alive in this world, remember the name of God.
137:	i dogde imamo vreme da vozъdvignemo oči i ruce naši gore u nebesa	And, as long as we have time, let us raise our eyes and hands towards the heavens.
138:	i da rečemo	And let us say:
139:	spi nasъ gdi	ʺSave us, o Lord!ʺ
140:	če pogibnaxъmo	ʺBecause we perished (?)ʺ
141:	i da se potkanimo	And let us be resolute.
142:	i da varъnemo dogde ne su se zatvorili vrata nebesnię	And let us return, as long as the gates of heavens are not closed.
143:	če xočemo da plačemo i da se molimo	For we will (otherwise) cry and pray.
144:	i nikoi nasъ ne šte da čue	And nobody is going to hear us.
145:	zašto bga našego obezčestvuemo	Because we dishonor our God.
146:	koliko puti bga našego rasrъdvame	How many times do we make our God angry?
147:	onъ namъ blgo daetъ	He gives us goods.
148:	a nie otmetamo se ot nego	And we cast away away from Him!
149:	onъ milue nasъ	He loves us.
150:	a nie lenimo se	But we are lazy!
151:	onъ nasъ na svaki denъ pituetъ	He feeds us every day.
152:	a nie negovъ zapovedъ prestupaemo	And we transgress his command!
153:	i da se zasramimo	Let us become ashamed!
154:	i da se uboimo	Let us fear!
155:	zašto bъ ot nasъ џuvapъ saka da mu dademo	For God wants and answer from us, to give Him.
156:	prestanete ot lъživi dumi	Cease (to spread?) false words!
157:	prestanete	Cease!
158:	ne deite popove moi xuliti i uničižati	Do not blaspheme and slander my priests!
159:	i ne ukorъvaite gi	Do not deride them!
160:	zašto su oni slugi moi	For they are my servants.
161:	i nikomu da ne sudite dogde priide sudija xrtosъ	And judge no one until the (True) Judge Jesus comes!
162:	togiva da prestaneme ot molъba i ot molitva i ot postъ i vozdrъžanie	Then, we (will?) cease to do prayer, and to fast, and to abstain.
163:	i da pokažemo xrtu novo delo naše	And let us show our new works to Christ.
164:	i da promenimo naše zloumie	And let us change our evil thoughts.
165:	i da se pokaemo sasъ molъba i sasъ slъzi	And let us repent with prayer and tears!
166:	zašto pokajanie tuka buduva na toja stъ	Because repentance wakes (us?) in this world.
167:	da poplačemo va malo vreme	Let us cry a bit in (this) short time,
	da ne plačemo posle tamo u bezъkonečnuju muku	so that we will not cry there, in the Eternal Torment, afterwards.
168:	ne može biti pokajanie	(For in the Eternal Torment?) there can be no repentance.
169:	ox gorъko koi se ne pokae	O, woe (to those), who does not repent!
170:	na pravedno sudište xočemo da predstanemo	We will stand in front of a righteous judgement seat!
171:	i xočemo da poznaemo kakvo smo na telo naše ugoždali	And we will learn, how we had helped our body.
172:	no da se potegnemo radi dšu	But let us stretch ourselves a bit for the sake of our souls,
	da naidemo vrata raiski otvoreni	so that we find the doors of the Paradise open!
173:	i da se očistime ot grexъ kakvoto e bgu ugodno	And let us wash ourselves from sin, as it is pleasing God.
174:	tako zapovedъva namъ mltivi bgъ	Thus God the Merciful commands us.
175:	a suetno telo u zemlju poginuva	And the vain body dies in the ground.
176:	i sve zemlъno što e prexodit	And everything, what is earthly, passes.
177:	i pominuva se	And it perishes.
178:	a člvekъ i sto godinъ da bude živъ ne može da reče	And a man, even if hundred years old, cannot say:
179:	starъ smъ	ʺI am old.ʺ
180:	ta šte mi bgъ oprosti	ʺSo God will forgive me.ʺ
181:	no da gledamo strašni onai časъ	But let us look towards that terrible hour,
	kogi fane dša da se razlučva ot telo	when the soul begins to part its ways from the body.
182:	strašni časъ onъ	(Let us look toward) that terrible time,
	kogi jazikъ premlъknet	when the tongue becomes silent,
	i ne može čisto govoriti	and it cannot speak clearly,
	i počne vazvraštati oči tamo i ovamo često	and it begins to turn its eyes (?) here and there often.
183:	često i svoi nikakъ ne poznava	Often it does not even know its own ones (?)
184:	ako i da gi poznava koja faida ima ot nixъ	And even if he knows them, what help does it have from them?
185:	ili oni ot nego	Or (what help have) they from it?
186:	tъkmo plačъ i ridanie	(They have only) cry and weeping.
187:	no kakvo da otgovorimo pravednomu sudiju	So, what shall we answer to the Just Judge?
188:	kakvo da rečeme	What would we say?
189:	kakvo li da ne rečeme	What we would (rather) not say!
190:	i kakvo li mesto ugotovljaet se namъ	And what kind of place is being prepared for us?
191:	takova pomisluetъ bolenъ člvekъ	An ill man thinks about such things.
192:	kogi fane člveku dša da izlazi ot telo	When the soul begins to leave the body,
	edinъ časъ doide aggelъ praten ot bga	in the same time an angel comes, sent by God.
193:	togiva onaja dša ako ne bude ugotovena	Then, if that soul will not be ready,
	kogi vidi aggela xoštetъ ot strax bežati	it will run away from fear, when it sees the angel.
194:	i ne može nigde da se ukrie	And it cannot hide anywhere.
195:	tъkmo počnetъ gledati strašno	It just begins to watch with terror.
196:	i bietъ se po lice	And it strikes itself on the face.
197:	i namъ govori	And it says to us:
198:	pomilute me	ʺHave mercy on me!ʺ
199:	i daite mi nekoja pomoštъ	ʺAnd give me some help!ʺ
200:	ne ostavete mene bezъdelno na sudište da idemъ	ʺDo not leave me to go to the judgement seat with no capacity!ʺ
201:	milostinju sotvorete mene	ʺShow me some mercy!ʺ
202:	zašto sasъ zli dni proidoxъ dogde bixъ živъ na toja stъ	ʺBecause I passed with bad days, as long as I was alive in this world.ʺ
203:	i ne pokajax se	ʺAnd I did not repent.ʺ
204:	kogi takviva dumi čujutъ angeli ot nasъ i oni rečutъ namъ	When the angels hear such words from us, they say to us:
205:	o duše smirena i okajana dogde si bila živa zašto se ne si pokajala	ʺO, you peaceful and wretched soul, why did you not repent, when you were alive?ʺ
206:	no si bila leniva i ne potъkanъliva	ʺBut you were slothful and irresolute.ʺ
207:	a sъga konecъ tvoi približi se	ʺAnd now, your end is nigh.ʺ
208:	skoro izlezni ot telo	ʺNow, come out of the body!ʺ
209:	i priidi da uzmešъ što si sebe ugotovila	ʺAnd come to take, what you have prepared for yourself!ʺ
210:	i nie da se ne uboime ot bga	And let us not (!) become afraid of God.
211:	no tako da rečeme	But let us say thus:
212:	otvori namъ mltive bže	ʺOpen to us, o merciful God!ʺ
213:	otvori	ʺOpen!ʺ
214:	pri tebe idemo ne dostoini rabi tvoi	ʺWe, your unworthy servants, go to you!ʺ
215:	i tebe slavu vozъisilae	And (we) send glory to you,
	ocu i snu i stomu dxu	to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
	nině i prisno i vo veki vek	now and ever, and forever!
