3:	Vozljubléni móĭ brátija	My beloved brothers,
	kóĭ wt vásь ʾima suétno bogat͛stvo mlógo ʾilì: málko	whoever of you has vain wealth, a lot or a little,
	ne prilágaite srdce váše na nego	do not put your heart on it!
4:	zaštò na bogátastvo sláva prexódit[...],	Because the glory of wealth perishes.
5:	i ʾi svéka xúbosь srébrena ʾi zlátena [toa] proxódítь	And all the beauty of silver and gold, that (?) perishes.
6:	i raznosit͛ se	And it is carried away.
7:	ʾi zaštò tol͛kova trudi se čl͂vekь da spečáli mlógo ʾimane	And why does the man work so much to gain a lot of wealth?
8:	poštò lákomi[a]	Because (of) greed!
9:	ʾi kára se	And he struggles,
10:	ʾi bíe se dogdé si naplь´ni ʾwči ʾi srdce sásь ʾimane:	and he fights, until he fills his eyes and heart with wealth.
11:	ʾá kogì dóĭde strášni čásь samrьtnï ne móže ni málo nešto dá zanesé sasь sébe;	And when the terrible time of death comes, he cannot take anything with him.
12:	nь golì xóčemo da stánemo pred strášnoe sudište	But we will appear naked in front of the terrible judgement seat.
13:	támo ʾág͂geli so straxomь prédьstojutь	Angels stand in front with fear there.
14:	támo prestóli; strášni postavljájut se	Terrible thrones are being built there.
15:	támo knígi ʾōtvarajut͛ se	Books are being opened there.
16:	támo rekà ʾógnéna tečétь	A fiery river flows there.
17:	támo črь´vja gim͛žutь	The worms swarm there.
18:	ʾi ne umirájutь	And they don't die.
19:	tamo e ʾi mlógo glьčni tar͛tárь	The very noise Tartaros is also there.
20:	támo néprestáno skrьžutь: diăvoli sásь zubi na násь	The devils endlessly gnash their teeth at us there.
21:	támo gorki ʾi ne utéšeni žálosti ʾi kaʾjánïe	There (is) bitter and unquenchable sorrow and regret.
22:	tamo e ne prestáni pláčь ʾi ridanïe	There is endless cry and weeping.
23:	tàmo neprestáno vozdixánïe	There (is) endless moaning.
24:	tamo ne ĭmatь ni ʾmalo utešénïe ʾi vesélie	There there is not a bit of consolation and joy.
25:	tь´kmo; pláčь ʾi ridánïe	(There is) only cry and weeping.
26:	tamo né ĭmatь ni ma.lo st̃ь	There is no light,
27:	no tma ʾi mrákь	(there is) only darkness.
28:	támo nè ĭmatь ʾwpravdanïe	There is no justification,
29:	no súdь ʾi wsuždénïe	but (there is) judgement and sentence.
30:	támo strášno e što vídišь sásь ʾwči	There, it is terrible, what you see with the eyes.
31:	ʾá po strášno e što čúešь sásь ʾuši	But it is more terrible, what you hear with the ears.
32:	kogì dóĭde čásь	When the time comes,
	u mignovénïe ʾwko svàko zdánïe xóče da ʾwživée	in a blink of an eye, all the creation will become alive,
	da stàne, na strášnoe súdište	to appear at the terrible judgement seat,
	da dadè bg̃u џuvapь za svoè délo	to give God an answer for its works.
33:	támo ʾima velíki stráxь ʾi velíki trepétь	There is a great fear and trembling.
34:	togíva u ʾwnja velíki čásь núžni xóštutь; trubíla da vastrúbutь	Then, at that great time of need, the trumpets will be blown.
35:	togíva zvezdi če dà spádnutь ʾw nb̃sa	Then, the stars will fall from the heaven.
36:	togíva šte slьn͛ce da pomrь´kne	Then, the sun will darken.
37:	togíva nébo xoče dá se svíe	Then, the heavens will fold.
38:	togíva ʾi zemlja xóče da sè; dovrь´ši	Then, the Earth, too, will end.
39:	ʾi sví ʾág̃geli so stráxomь služutь bg̃u edínomu	And all the angels serve the One God with fear.
40:	ʾá serafími xorotujutь ʾjasno	And the Seraphim speak clearly.
41:	xeruvími góre ʾi dole; frьčútь	The Cherubim fly up and down.
42:	ʾi tьštut͛ se	And they work hard.
43:	prewbráštatь nebesà ʾi zelmlьna ʾi preʾispodnjaja	They transform the Heavens, and the Earth, and the Underworld.
44:	ʾi sve dovrьšajutь	And they end everything.
45:	ʾi gróbove ʾwtvarájutь	And they open the graves.
46:	ʾi mrьtvi, telà ʾwživévatь	And dead bodies become alive.
47:	ʾi stájutь	And they stand up.
48:	sudílišta gotovljájut se	The judgement seats are being prepared.
49:	támo ʾima mlógo stráxь ʾi ne ʾizrečéni trepétь	There is a lot of fear, and unspeakable trembling,
	ʾi ne domíslьni; núždi ʾi velíki pogíbelь	and unimaginable needs, and great destruction,
	ʾi velíko zlònaxoždénïe zlopolučénïe ʾi velíka mlь´va	and great mishappening, misfortunes, and great murmur.

65:	to.gíva gdé su lьžóvni ful͛nici	Where are (going to be) then the false blasphemers?
66:	ʾezíkь nixan na ʾwgnь ʾxóče da gori	Their tongue will be burning on a fire!
67:	togíva na klevetnici usta xóčet da strošutь ʾág͂gle štoto stojútь prédь bg̃a	Then, the angels, who stay in front of God, will crush the mouths of slanderers.
68:	togíva na srebroljub͛ci rúke wtbíti	Then, the hands of the silver-lovers (will be) sundered.
69:	visutь	They (will?) hang.
70:	ʾi tresut͛ se	And they (will?) tremble.
71:	ʾi ne mogutь da gi zbérutь do sébe	And they (will) not be able to bring them together (?)

80:	gdé e súdnikь ʾi velíko krívoglédnikь	Where is the judge and the one looking with skewered eyes (?) ?
81:	gde su rízi ʾi prilíki	Where are the shirts and ornaments?
82:	gdé su xúbavi ʾwbuštia ʾi preméni ʾi šáreni čorápi na smrьdéli nóze	Where are the beautiful shoes and ornamented and colorful socks on the stinking feet?
83:	gdé e sva xúbostь; ʾi prilíka na pogáno télo	Where is all the beauty and ornaments of the heathenish body?
84:	gdé e mlógo ʾimane prípečáleno	Where is the lot of property gained by additional work (?) ?
85:	gdé su zláteni xubosti	Where is the golden beautiful stuff?
86:	gdé e zláteni ʾi srébreni zvókotь	Where is the clatter (?) of golden and silver (plates?) ?
87:	gde su na tьn͛ki prь´sti zlátni prь´stene i bezьcéni kámene	Where are the golden rings and priceless stones on the delicate fingers?
88:	gdé su xubavi gradíni ʾi plodovíti drь´vja	Where are the beautiful gardens and fruitful trees?
89:	gde su ríznici sasь ʾimane	Where are the stashes with property?
90:	gdé su srьpïi sásь xranù	Where are the sickles (?) with food?
91:	gdé su tía štoto ne priglédvaxu siromási	Where are those, who did not take heed of the poor?
92:	gdé su tía, štoto ne počítaxu bl͂gočestívu véru	Where are those, who did not respect the true faith?
93:	gdé su ne ver͛ni prelь´šni gotóvi na mučénïe,	Where are the faithless ones, the deceived ones (?), ready for tortures?
94:	gdé su lьžívi što dumaxu	Where are the false ones, who were saying:
95:	dáĭ mi dnéska brášno ʾili srebrò na záemь	ʺToday, give me flour or silver as a loan!ʺ
96:	ʾi jutre uzmì	ʺAnd tomorrow, take (it back)!ʺ
97:	ʾi posle rečétь	And then he says:
98:	níšto ne sí mi dálь	ʺYou have given me nothing!ʺ
99:	gdé su tía što sásь ʾigri ʾjádexu ʾi piéxu	Where are those, who were eating and drinking with dances?
100:	gdé su tía kóĭto govórexu	Where are those, who were saying:
101:	dnéska da ʾjádemo ʾi da piʾeme	ʺToday, let us eat and drink!ʺ
102:	ʾi za utra xóčemo da umreme	ʺAnd tomorrow, we will die!ʺ
103:	gdé su tía što mlógo sméxь ʾi vesel͛bà tvórexu	Where are those, who were doing much fun and parties?
104:	ʾá gdé su tía što dumaxu	And where are those, who were saying:
105:	bg͂ь ljúbi čl͂veci	ʺGod loves humans.ʺ
106:	i ne xóštetь mučíti kóĭ su gréšni	ʺAnd (thus), He will not torment (those), who are sinful.ʺ
107:	gdé su tía štoto dúmaxu	Where are those, who were saying:
108:	xóčemo se pokaʾjáti	ʺWe will repent!ʺ
109:	ʾi níkákvo ne pomislíxu da sè pokajutь,	And they did not mind to repent in no way.
110:	wx kolíko xoštutь támo vozdixáti	O, how much will they moan there!
111:	ʾi ne štutь pómiluváni da budutь wt bg̃a	And they will not be forgiven by God.
112:	togíva xóčutь da rečutь	Then, they will say:
113:	na šegà ʾi sasь; maskarà pogubix͛me sébe	ʺWe destroyed ourselves with jokes and fun.ʺ
114:	ʾw gor͛ko nam	ʺO, woe to us!ʺ
115:	mnógo luge učíxu násь	ʺMany people taught us.ʺ
116:	i níkogo ne poslušáx͛me	ʺAnd we did not listen to anyone.ʺ
117:	ʾi koito nì učexu míe ʾi níxь ѱuváx͛me	ʺAnd we even cursed those, who taught us.ʺ
118:	ʾi dobré ni pokázvaxu právilo	ʺAnd they were showing us the way well.ʺ
119:	a nïe ne ver͛vaxmo	ʺAnd we did not believe.ʺ
120:	ʾi wt pisánïe prelьstix͛me se	ʺAnd we were deceived by the Scripture (?)ʺ
121:	wx gor͛ko námь	ʺO, woe to us!ʺ
122:	vídite lì kakvo su pravedni sud͛bi bž̃ïi bíli	ʺDo you see, how righteous have the judgements of God have been?ʺ
123:	ʾá nie kakvò právíxmo táko ʾi naidox͛mo	ʺAnd how we did, thus we found it.ʺ
124:	wx téš͛ko námь;	ʺO, it is hard for us!ʺ
125:	zaradì suétnoe málo naslaždénïe pogubíxme večni bl̃gь	ʺFor a bit of vain enjoyment, we lost the eternal bliss.ʺ
126:	va málo vréme ʾwblenix͛mo se	ʺIn a short time, we were lazy.ʺ
127:	ʾi vь véčnago ʾógnja ʾwsudix͛mo se;	ʺAnd we doomed ourselves into the eternal fire.ʺ
128:	xóčatь gréšni na právedni da rečutь	The sinners will tell to the righteous:
129:	níja ne bíxmo dostóĭni da prïĭdemo vь véčnaja bl̃ga	ʺWe were not worthy to come to the eternal bliss.ʺ
130:	zašto víe ne prelьstíste se;	ʺFor you did not get deceived,ʺ
	kakvóto nïę sámi sébe predádox͛mo nà mučénïe	ʺas we gave ourselves over to torture.ʺ
131:	ʾi plačeme	ʺAnd we weep.ʺ
132:	ʾi molimo se	ʺAnd we pray.ʺ
133:	ʾi ni ʾedinь; né ĭmatь dá pomilúva nasь	ʺAnd not a single one is going to have mercy on us.ʺ
134:	dostignax͛mo konéčnago čása	ʺWe reached the final hour.ʺ
135:	Čuete li xr͒tiăni kakvò námь kazuva právilo	Do you hear, o Christians, what does the Law say to us?
136:	takò ʾi nija dogde sme žívi na tója st̃ь da poménemo ʾime bž̃ïe	Thus, may we, too, as long as we are alive in this world, remember the name of God.
137:	ʾi dogdè ʾimamo vréme da vozьdvígnemo ʾóči ʾi ruce náši góre u nebesà	And, as long as we have time, let us raise our eyes and hands towards the heavens.
138:	ʾi da rečémo	And let us say:
139:	sp͒i násь gd͒i	ʺSave us, o Lord!ʺ
140:	če pogibnax͛mo	ʺBecause we perished (?)ʺ
141:	ʾi da se potkánimo	And let us be resolute.
142:	ʾi da var͛nemo dogdè ne su se zatvoríli vráta nebésnïę	And let us return, as long as the gates of heavens are not closed.
143:	če xočemo da pláčemo ʾi da sè mólimo	For we will (otherwise) cry and pray.
144:	ʾi nikoi nasь ne štè da čue	And nobody is going to hear us.
145:	zaštò bg̃a nášego ʾwbezčestvuemo	Because we dishonor our God.
146:	kolíko puti bg̃a našego rasrьdvame	How many times do we make our God angry?
147:	ʾónь námь bl̃go dáetь	He gives us goods.
148:	ʾá nie wtmetamo se wt négo	And we cast away away from Him!
149:	ʾonь milue násь	He loves us.
150:	ʾá niè lenímo se	But we are lazy!
151:	ʾonь násь na sváki dénь pitúʾetь	He feeds us every day.
152:	ʾá níe negóvь zápovédь prestupaʾemo	And we transgress his command!
153:	ʾi da se zasrámimo	Let us become ashamed!
154:	ʾi da se uboĭmo	Let us fear!
155:	zašto b̃ь wt nasь џuvápь saka da mu dadémo	For God wants and answer from us, to give Him.
156:	prestanéte wt lьžívi dumi	Cease (to spread?) false words!
157:	prestanéte	Cease!
158:	ne deĭte popóve móĭ xulíti ʾi uničižáti;	Do not blaspheme and slander my priests!
159:	ʾi ne ukor͛vaite gi	Do not deride them!
160:	zaštó su ʾóni slugì móĭ	For they are my servants.
161:	ʾi nikomu da ne súdite dogdè prïide sudija xr͒tósь	And judge no one until the (True) Judge Jesus comes!
162:	togíva da prestáneme wt mol͛ba ʾi wt molítva ʾi wt póstь ʾi vozdrьžanïe	Then, we (will?) cease to do prayer, and to fast, and to abstain.
163:	ʾi da pokážemo xr͒tu nóvo délo naše	And let us show our new works to Christ.
164:	ʾi da proménimo náše zloʾumie	And let us change our evil thoughts.
165:	ʾi da sè pokáemo sásь mol͛ba ʾi sasь slь´zi	And let us repent with prayer and tears!
166:	zaštò pokaʾjánïe túka buduva na tója st̃ь	Because repentance wakes (us?) in this world.
167:	da poplačemo va málo vréme	Let us cry a bit in (this) short time,
	da nè pláčemo posle támo u bézьkonéčnuju múku	so that we will not cry there, in the Eternal Torment, afterwards.
168:	ne može bíti pokaʾjánïe	(For in the Eternal Torment?) there can be no repentance.
169:	wx gor͛ko kóĭ se ne pokáe	O, woe (to those), who does not repent!
170:	na právedno súdište xočemo da predstánemo	We will stand in front of a righteous judgement seat!
171:	ʾi xočemo da poznáemo kakvó smo na télo naše ugoždáli	And we will learn, how we had helped our body.
172:	no da sè potégnemo radì dš̃u	But let us stretch ourselves a bit for the sake of our souls,
	da náĭdemo vráta ráĭski wtvoreni	so that we find the doors of the Paradise open!
173:	ʾi da se ʾwčístime wt gréxь kakvo;to e bg̃u ugódno	And let us wash ourselves from sin, as it is pleasing God.
174:	takò zapovéd͛va namь ml͒tívi bg̃ь	Thus God the Merciful commands us.
175:	ʾá suetno télo u zemlju pogínuva	And the vain body dies in the ground.
176:	ʾi sve zémlьno što è prexódit	And everything, what is earthly, passes.
177:	ʾi pominúva se	And it perishes.
178:	ʾá čl̃vékь ʾi stó gódinь da búde žívь ne móže da rečè	And a man, even if hundred years old, cannot say:
179:	star͛ smь	ʺI am old.ʺ
180:	ta šte mì bg̃ь ʾwprósti	ʺSo God will forgive me.ʺ
181:	no da glédamo strášni; ʾónai čásь	But let us look towards that terrible hour,
	kogì fáne dš̃a da sè razlučva wt télo	when the soul begins to part its ways from the body.
182:	strášni čásь ʾónь	(Let us look toward) that terrible time,
	kogì; ʾjázikь premlьknet	when the tongue becomes silent,
	ʾi ne móže čísto govoríti	and it cannot speak clearly,
	ʾi počne vazvraštáti ʾóči támo ʾi ʾwvámo čésto	and it begins to turn its eyes (?) here and there often.
183:	čésto ʾi svoi nikákь ne poznáva	Often it does not even know its own ones (?)
184:	ʾáko ʾi da gì poznava kojà fáĭda ʾima wt níxь	And even if he knows them, what help does it have from them?
185:	ʾili ʾoni wt négo	Or (what help have) they from it?
186:	tьkmo pláčь ʾi ridanïe	(They have only) cry and weeping.
187:	no kakvò da wtgovórimo praved-nomu súdiju	So, what shall we answer to the Just Judge?
188:	kakvo da rečéme	What would we say?
189:	kakvó li; da ne rečéme	What we would (rather) not say!
190:	ʾi kakvó li mésto ugotovljáʾet se námь	And what kind of place is being prepared for us?
191:	takóva pomislúʾetь bólenь; čl̃vékь	An ill man thinks about such things.
192:	kogì fane čl͂veku dš̃a da izlazi wt télo	When the soul begins to leave the body,
	ʾedinь čásь, dóĭde ʾágg̃elь praten wt bg̃a	in the same time an angel comes, sent by God.
193:	togiva ʾwnája dš̃a ʾáko ne bude ugotovena	Then, if that soul will not be ready,
	kogì vídi ʾágg̃ela xóštetь wt strax bežáti	it will run away from fear, when it sees the angel.
194:	ʾi ne može nígde da se ukríe	And it cannot hide anywhere.
195:	tьkmo póčnetь gledáti strášno	It just begins to watch with terror.
196:	ʾi biet͛ se po lice	And it strikes itself on the face.
197:	ʾi namь govóri	And it says to us:
198:	pomílute me	ʺHave mercy on me!ʺ
199:	ʾi daĭte mi nékoja pómoštь	ʺAnd give me some help!ʺ
200:	ne ʾwstavete mene; bezьdélno na súdište da ĭdemь	ʺDo not leave me to go to the judgement seat with no capacity!ʺ
201:	milostinju sotvoréte méne	ʺShow me some mercy!ʺ
202:	zašto sásь zlí dni proĭdoxь dogdè bíxь žívь na tója st̃ь	ʺBecause I passed with bad days, as long as I was alive in this world.ʺ
203:	ʾi ne pokaʾjáx se	ʺAnd I did not repent.ʺ
204:	kogi takvíva dumi čujutь ʾañgeli wt násь ʾi wnì rečútь námь	When the angels hear such words from us, they say to us:
205:	w͒ duše smiréna ʾi wkaʾjána dogdé si bilà žíva zaštó se ne sì pokaʾjála	ʺO, you peaceful and wretched soul, why did you not repent, when you were alive?ʺ
206:	no si bíla leníva ʾi ne pot͛kan͛líva	ʺBut you were slothful and irresolute.ʺ
207:	ʾá sьga konécь tvoi príbliží se	ʺAnd now, your end is nigh.ʺ
208:	skóro ʾizleznì wt télo	ʺNow, come out of the body!ʺ
209:	ʾi príʾidi da ʾuzmešь što sí sébe ugotovíla	ʺAnd come to take, what you have prepared for yourself!ʺ
210:	ʾi nie da sè ne uboĭme wt bg̃a	And let us not (!) become afraid of God.
211:	no táko da rečéme	But let us say thus:
212:	ʾwtvorì namь ml͒tive bž̃e	ʺOpen to us, o merciful God!ʺ
213:	ʾwtvorì	ʺOpen!ʺ
214:	pri tebe ʾidemo ne dostóĭni rábi tvóĭ,	ʺWe, your unworthy servants, go to you!ʺ
215:	i tébe slávu vozьʾisiláe	And (we) send glory to you,
	ʾoc͂u ʾi sñu, ʾi st̃ómu dx̃u	to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
	nině ʾi prísno ʾi vo véki vek	now and ever, and forever!
