kakvo sme nię dogovorъni | how we make agreements (?),
i kakvo se imame edinъ drugogo | and how we have each other (?),
i kakvo se verъvamo nię na toja stъ | and how we believe (in each other?) in this world.
 | imaše edno vreme edinъ člvekъ | There was once a man. |

 | tъkmo smiri sebe | He only made himself peaceful. |
 | pomisli | He thought. |
 | i otide pri gospodina svoego komuto beše dlъženъ | And he went to his master, to whom he was indebted. |
 | i pade na noze te onomuva boljarinu | And he fell to the feet of that boyar. |
 | i reče mu | And he said to him: |
 | gdine ne možem da stečemъ da ti damъ kolъko samъ ti dlъženъ | ʺO lord, I cannot collect (the money) to give you so much, as I owe you.ʺ |
 | tъkmo molimъ ti se | ʺSo I just pray you:ʺ |
 | prosti mi gdne toja dlъgъ | ʺForgive me that debt, o lord!ʺ |
 | tvoe bogatъsvo nikogi ne šte da dotrae ega mi ne uzmešъ toja dlъgъ ot mene | ʺYour wealth will never be spent, if you will not take that debt from me.ʺ |
 | gdine molimъ ti se | ʺI pray you, o lord!ʺ |
 | kogi ču onja gdinъ takviva pokorъlivi molъbi i takovi mltivi reči a nemu dožale i domile | When that lord heard such humble prayers and merciful words, he pitied (the man) and was stirred. |
 | i sve mu oprosti | And he forgave him everything. |
 | i otide si ot gdina | And he went away from the lord. |
 | i kato si otvodeše po ulicu srešnu ednogo človeka | And as he was walking on the street, he met one man. |

 | ne smisleni člveče i lenivi zašto si sotvorilъ tako | ʺO mindless and lazy man, why did you do so?ʺ |
 | ne li beše i tebe prilično da oprostišъ dlъžnika svoego kakvoto ja prostixъ tebe i pomiluvax te | ʺWas it not appropriate for you, to forgive your debtor, as I forgave you and was merciful to you?ʺ |
 | togiva reče onja gospodinъ togova dlъžnika da prodadutъ | Then the lord commanded that debtor to be sold, |

da mu prodadutъ da si otplati dlъžnina ta | and all, what he had, to be sold, so that his debt will be covered.
 | takava čudesa pokazva namъ xrtosъ da bexъme se ubojali | Christ shows us such miracles, so that we become afraid, |
da ne drъžime tuxъmetъ koi nam sogrešava | so that we don't hold grudge (?) against those, who do evil to us.
 | kakvo piše u sti zakonъ | As it is written in the Holy Law: |
 | ako ti greši nekoi člvekъ ili ti drugomu skoro idi pri nego | If one commits a sin against you, or you to him, go soon to him. |
 | ili onъ pri tebe | Or may he (goes) to you. |
 | i primirete se | And reconcile. |
 | ako ti prostišъ nemu što ti e pregrešilъ a onъ tebe ne šte da prosti da znae zašto zavrъzanъ ostaja | If you forgive him, what he did against you, and he does not, may he knows why he is bound. |
 | ako li onъ tebe prosti a ti nego ne proštevašъ ti ostajašъ zavrъzanъ | If he forgives you, and you do not, you are bound. |
 | tako zapoveda namъ gdъ bgъ našъ iisъ xristosъ | Thus our Lord God, Jesus Christ, commanded us. |
 | vsegda ninja i prisno i vo veki vek | Now and ever, and forever! |
