1: [===] бл҃го̀слове́ни хр͒ти́ӑни послꙋ́шайте ҆и дрꙋ́го чꙋ́до [Foreword] Blessed Christians, listen to another miracle,
какво̀ сме нїѧ договор͛ни how we make agreements (?),
и какво̀ се ҆имаме ҆еди́нь дрꙋ́гого and how we have each other (?),
҆и ка:кво́ се вер͛вамо ни́ѧ нá то́ꙗ .:. ст҃ь and how we believe (in each other?) in this world.
2: Имаше ҆едно̀ вре́ме ҆еди́нь чл҃ве́кь There was once a man.
3: та б(е)ше дль́жень дрꙋ́гомꙋ чл҃векꙋ мло́го гроше́ве And he was indebted to another man with a lot coins.
4: ҆и чꙋ́деше́ се що да сотво́ри ѿ And he was wondering, what he should do,
ка:де да нáйде да сѐ ѿкꙋпи ѿ тол͛кова, дль́гь from where he should seek (money) to buy himself from so much debt out.
5: ть́кмо смирѝ се́бе He only made himself peaceful.
6: по́мислѝ He thought.
7: ҆и ҆ѡт҆иде при́ господи́на сво́҆его̀ комꙋто бе́ше дль́жень And he went to his master, to whom he was indebted.
8: ҆и паде нá нозе́ те ҆ѡ́номꙋва болꙗ̀ринꙋ And he fell to the feet of that boyar.
9: ҆и ре́че мꙋ And he said to him:
10: гд͒ине не мо́жем дá стече́мь да тѝ дáмь кол͛ко сам͛ ти; дль́жень ʺO lord, I cannot collect (the money) to give you so much, as I owe you.ʺ
11: тькмо мо́лим͛ ти се ʺSo I just pray you:ʺ
12: прости́ ми гд͒не то́ꙗ дль́гь ʺForgive me that debt, o lord!ʺ
13: тво́ѐ богат͛сво ни́коги не щѐ дá дотрáе ҆е҆га ми не ҆ꙋзмешь то́ꙗ дль́гь ѿ ме́не ʺYour wealth will never be spent, if you will not take that debt from me.ʺ
14: гд͒ине мо́лим͛ ти се ʺI pray you, o lord!ʺ
15: когѝ чꙋ ҆о́нꙗ гд͒и́нь такви́ва покор͛ли́ви мол͛би ҆и тако́ви мл͒ти́ви ре́чи ҆á немꙋ до́жалѐ ҆и домилѐ When that lord heard such humble prayers and merciful words, he pitied (the man) and was stirred.
16: ҆и све́ мꙋ ҆ѡпро́:сти And he forgave him everything.
17: ҆и ѡтиде́ си ѿ гд͒и́на And he went away from the lord.
18: ҆и кáто сѝ ҆ѡтво́дешѐ по ꙋлицꙋ сре́шнꙋ ҆едно́го чло́ве́ка And as he was walking on the street, he met one man.
19: дль́жень бе́ше дрꙋ́ги чл҃ве́кь па не́мꙋ пе́ть гро́ша The other man owed then him five coins.
20: ҆á ҆ѡнь мꙋ ре́че And he said to him:
21: да҆и ми що ми́ си дль́жень ʺGive me, what you owe me!ʺ
22: ҆á ѡнꙗ̀ чл҃ве́кь мꙋ се помо́ли And that man prayed him.
23: ҆и рече мꙋ, And he said to him:
24: брáте поче́кай ме до не́коли́ко днѝ ʺO brother, wait for me for a couple of days!ʺ
25: хо́чем͛ ти платит ʺI will pay you.ʺ
26: ҆á ѡнь не́ щеꙗ̀ да го̀ поче́ка ни́ ҆еди́нь чáсь But he did not want to wait for him not even a single hour.
27: нело го̀ затво́ри ꙋ тевни́цꙋ But he locked him in a dungeon.
28: д҆ѡгде́ мꙋ не плáти не пꙋщи́ го He (was) not (going to) release him, until he did not pay him.
29: но почꙋ̀ ҆ѡнꙗ господи́нь But that lord heard (about it).
30: ҆ѡнь призовà того́ва дльжни́ка сво́его̀ He called that debtor of his.
31: ҆и ре́че мꙋ And he said to him:
32: не сми́сленѝ чл҃ве́че ҆и лени́ви защо́ си сотвори́ль тáко ʺO mindless and lazy man, why did you do so?ʺ
33: не лѝ бе́ше ҆и те́бе прѝли́чно да ҆ѡпро́стишь дльжни́ка сво҆его̀ какво́то ҆ꙗ́ прости́хь те́бе ҆и поми́лꙋвáх те ʺWas it not appropriate for you, to forgive your debtor, as I forgave you and was merciful to you?ʺ
34: тоги́ва ре́че ҆онꙗ̀ господи́нь того́ва дль́жни́ка да прода:дꙋ́ть Then the lord commanded that debtor to be sold,
҆и женꙋ̀ него́вꙋ ҆и децá та мꙋ ҆и све́ що́ йма and his wife (with him), and his children,
да мꙋ̀ продáдꙋть да сѝ ѿплáти дльжнѝна та and all, what he had, to be sold, so that his debt will be covered.
35: такáва чꙋдеса покáзва нáмь хр͒то́сь да бех͛ме се ꙋбо҆ꙗ́ли Christ shows us such miracles, so that we become afraid,
да нѐ дрьжи́ме тꙋх͛ме́ть ко́й нам согрешáва so that we don't hold grudge (?) against those, who do evil to us.
36: какво̀ пи́ше ҆ꙋ́ ст҃и зако́нь As it is written in the Holy Law:
37: ҆áко тѝ гре́ши не́кои чл҃векь ҆и́ли ти: дрꙋ́гомꙋ ско́рѡ ҆и́ди при не́го If one commits a sin against you, or you to him, go soon to him.
38: ҆илѝ ҆онь при те́бе Or may he (goes) to you.
39: ҆и примире́те се And reconcile.
40: ҆áко ти про́стишь не́мꙋ що ти́ е прегреши́ль ҆á ҆о́нь те́бе не щѐ да про́сти да знáе защо̀ заврь́зань ҆ѡстáꙗ If you forgive him, what he did against you, and he does not, may he knows why he is bound.
41: ҆áко лѝ ҆о́нь те́бе про́сти ҆á тѝ не́го не проще́вашь ти ҆ѡстáıӑшь заврь́зань If he forgives you, and you do not, you are bound.
42: тако̀ заповедà нáмь гд͒ь, бг҃ь нáшь, иıс͒ь хри́сто́сь Thus our Lord God, Jesus Christ, commanded us.
43: все́гда ни́нꙗ ҆и при́сно ҆и во ве́ки век Now and ever, and forever!
