kakvò sme nïę dogovor͛ni | how we make agreements (?), | |
i kakvò se ʾimame ʾedínь drúgogo | and how we have each other (?), | |
ʾi ka:kvó se ver͛vamo níę ná tója .:. st̃ь | and how we believe (in each other?) in this world. | |
2: | Imaše ʾednò vréme ʾedínь čl̃vékь | There was once a man. |
3: | ta b(e)še dlь´ženь drúgomu čl̃veku mlógo grošéve | And he was indebted to another man with a lot coins. |
4: | ʾi čúdešé se što da sotvóri wt | And he was wondering, what he should do, |
ka:de da náĭde da sè wtkupi wt tol͛kova, dlь´gь | from where he should seek (money) to buy himself from so much debt out. | |
5: | tь´kmo smirì sébe | He only made himself peaceful. |
6: | pómislì | He thought. |
7: | ʾi ʾōtʾide prí gospodína svóʾegò komuto béše dlь´ženь | And he went to his master, to whom he was indebted. |
8: | ʾi pade ná nozé te ʾw´nomuva boljàrinu | And he fell to the feet of that boyar. |
9: | ʾi réče mu | And he said to him: |
10: | gd͒ine ne móžem dá stečémь da tì dámь kol͛ko sam͛ ti; dlь´ženь | ʺO lord, I cannot collect (the money) to give you so much, as I owe you.ʺ |
11: | tьkmo mólim͛ ti se | ʺSo I just pray you:ʺ |
12: | prostí mi gd͒ne tója dlь´gь | ʺForgive me that debt, o lord!ʺ |
13: | tvóè bogat͛svo níkogi ne štè dá dotráe ʾeʾga mi ne ʾuzmešь tója dlь´gь wt méne | ʺYour wealth will never be spent, if you will not take that debt from me.ʺ |
14: | gd͒ine mólim͛ ti se | ʺI pray you, o lord!ʺ |
15: | kogì ču ʾónja gd͒ínь takvíva pokor͛lívi mol͛bi ʾi takóvi ml͒tívi réči ʾá nemu dóžalè ʾi domilè | When that lord heard such humble prayers and merciful words, he pitied (the man) and was stirred. |
16: | ʾi své mu ʾwpró:sti | And he forgave him everything. |
17: | ʾi ōtidé si wt gd͒ína | And he went away from the lord. |
18: | ʾi káto sì ʾwtvódešè po ulicu sréšnu ʾednógo člóvéka | And as he was walking on the street, he met one man. |
19: | dlь´ženь béše drúgi čl̃vékь pa nému pétь gróša | The other man owed then him five coins. |
20: | ʾá ʾwnь mu réče | And he said to him: |
21: | daʾi mi što mí si dlь´ženь | ʺGive me, what you owe me!ʺ |
22: | ʾá wnjà čl̃vékь mu se pomóli | And that man prayed him. |
23: | ʾi reče mu, | And he said to him: |
24: | bráte počékaĭ me do nékolíko dnì | ʺO brother, wait for me for a couple of days!ʺ |
25: | xóčem͛ ti platit | ʺI will pay you.ʺ |
26: | ʾá wnь né štejà da gò počéka ní ʾedínь čásь | But he did not want to wait for him not even a single hour. |
27: | nelo gò zatvóri u tevnícu | But he locked him in a dungeon. |
28: | dʾwgdé mu ne pláti ne puští go | He (was) not (going to) release him, until he did not pay him. |
29: | no počù ʾwnja gospodínь | But that lord heard (about it). |
30: | ʾwnь prizovà togóva dlьžníka svóegò | He called that debtor of his. |
31: | ʾi réče mu | And he said to him: |
32: | ne smíslenì čl̃véče ʾi lenívi zaštó si sotvorílь táko | ʺO mindless and lazy man, why did you do so?ʺ |
33: | ne lì béše ʾi tébe prìlíčno da ʾwpróstišь dlьžníka svoʾegò kakvóto ʾjá prostíxь tébe ʾi pomíluváx te | ʺWas it not appropriate for you, to forgive your debtor, as I forgave you and was merciful to you?ʺ |
34: | togíva réče ʾonjà gospodínь togóva dlь´žníka da proda:dútь | Then the lord commanded that debtor to be sold, |
ʾi ženù negóvu ʾi decá ta mu ʾi své štó ĭma | and his wife (with him), and his children, | |
da mù prodádutь da sì wtpláti dlьžnìna ta | and all, what he had, to be sold, so that his debt will be covered. | |
35: | takáva čudesa pokázva námь xr͒tósь da bex͛me se uboʾjáli | Christ shows us such miracles, so that we become afraid, |
da nè drьžíme tux͛métь kóĭ nam sogrešáva | so that we don't hold grudge (?) against those, who do evil to us. | |
36: | kakvò píše ʾú st̃i zakónь | As it is written in the Holy Law: |
37: | ʾáko tì gréši nékoi čl̃vekь ʾíli ti: drúgomu skórw ʾídi pri négo | If one commits a sin against you, or you to him, go soon to him. |
38: | ʾilì ʾonь pri tébe | Or may he (goes) to you. |
39: | ʾi primiréte se | And reconcile. |
40: | ʾáko ti próstišь nému što tí e pregrešílь ʾá ʾónь tébe ne štè da prósti da znáe zaštò zavrь´zanь ʾwstája | If you forgive him, what he did against you, and he does not, may he knows why he is bound. |
41: | ʾáko lì ʾónь tébe prósti ʾá tì négo ne proštévašь ti ʾwstájăšь zavrь´zanь | If he forgives you, and you do not, you are bound. |
42: | takò zapovedà námь gd͒ь, bg̃ь nášь, iıs͒ь xrístósь | Thus our Lord God, Jesus Christ, commanded us. |
43: | vségda nínja ʾi prísno ʾi vo véki vek | Now and ever, and forever! |
