3:	мр҃иа ѳꙋ҃,]	[Picture Text] Mary, Mother of God
4:	[===] бл͒гослове́ни ҆и хр͒толюби́ви хр͒тиӑни брати́а мои возлюбле́ни	[Foreword] O blessed and Christ-loving Christians, my beloved brothers,
	мл҃имь вáшꙋ, ми́лось ҆и пречт͒ꙋю мт҃рь нáшꙋ бдцꙋ,	I pray your mercifulness and our most pure mother, the Mother of God,
	да вѝ вразꙋ́ми вáшь ꙋмь ҆и да ви даде кро́тось	so that she makes your mind mindful, and that she gives you peacefulness.
5:	҆и слáвꙋ бж҃їю дá ймате ꙋ до́ми вáши	[Foreword] And may you have the glory of God in your houses.
6:	да послꙋ́шате сáсь бл҃гоговенїе ҆и сась любо́вь	[Foreword] May you hear with piety and love.
7:	҆и прáвове́р͛но послꙋшайте	[Foreword] Listen in an orthodox manner!
8:	҆и сась стрáхомь вложете вь срдце ваше ст҃ое писáнїе гд͒не	[Foreword] And put the Holy Scripture of the Lord into your hearts with fear!
9:	҆ѡч҃е бл͒го	[Foreword] O father, bless (the reader)!
10:	Въ ше́сти мц͒ь доиде́ чáсь	In the sixth month, the time came.
11:	ї зáпратѝ бг҃ь ҆áр͛хáнгелà гаврїйла ꙋ грáдь галиле́иски зове́ше се градо̀ назаре́ть при дв҃ицꙋ мáрѝю	And God sent Archangel Gabriel to a Galilean city - the city was called Nazareth - to Virgin Mary.
12:	҆и до́йде гаврїиль ҆áр͛хан҃гель при ню̀	And Archangel Gabriel came to her.
13:	҆и ре́че и	And he said to her:
14:	рáдꙋй се бл҃годáтнаꙗ	ʺRejoice, o virtuous one!ʺ
15:	гд͒ь че дà бꙋде сáсь те́бе	ʺThe Lord shall be with you!ʺ
16:	бл҃гослове́на же́нà ти че(л) дà бꙋ́дешь	ʺO woman, you will be blessed!ʺ
17:	҆á ѡнà видѐ ҆áн͛г҃гела	And she saw the angel.
18:	като̀ продꙋма таквáва дꙋ́ма	When he said the word,
	смꙋти́ си пáметь ѿ ҆áн͛г҃гело́ва та дꙋ́ма	she burdened her mind with the angel's word.
19:	҆и ми́слеше каквá щѐ да бꙋ́де тáѧ дꙋ́ма	And she thought, what will be (mean?) that word.
20:	҆и ҆áнг҃гель ю, ре́че	And the angel said to her:
21:	не бо́й се мари́е	ʺHave no fear, o Mary!ʺ
22:	ще́шь да нáйдешь бл҃годáть ѿ бг҃а	ʺYou will find grace of God.ʺ
23:	҆и ще́шь да зáчнешь детѐ ꙋ чре́ва твои	ʺAnd you will conceive a child in your bosom.ʺ
24:	҆и ще́шь да ро́дишь си́на	ʺAnd you will give birth to a son.ʺ
25:	҆и ще́шь да мꙋ̀ нарече́шь ҆име ҆иїс҃ь	ʺAnd you will give him the name Jesus.ʺ
26:	он щѐ да бꙋ́де цр҃ь вели́кь	ʺAnd he will become a great king.ʺ
27:	҆и хо́че да сѐ наречѐ си́нь ви́шнемꙋ̀ бг҃ꙋ	ʺAnd he will be called Son of the Most High God.ʺ
28:	҆и хо́че гд͒ь бг҃ь да мꙋ̀ дадѐ престо́ль ꙋ дв҃да ҆о́ц҃а сво҆его̀	ʺAnd Lord God will give him the throne of David, his (fore)father.ʺ
29:	҆и хоче да цр҃ьствꙋ́ва ꙋ до́мꙋ ҆иꙗковли до ве́ка	ʺAnd he will rule in the House of Jacob forever.ʺ
30:	҆и него́во цр͒тво не щѐ да йма коне́ць	ʺAnd his Kingdom shall have no end.ʺ
31:	тоги́ва ре́че деви́ца мари́ꙗ ҆áнг҃гелꙋ	Then Virgin Mary said to the angel:
32:	какво́ ще да бꙋ́де това	ʺHow could that be?ʺ
33:	҆ꙗ́ мꙋ́жа не знáемь	ʺI don't know a man.ʺ
34:	[а какво щемь чедо до добїем͛]	ʺSo how can I get a child?ʺ
35:	анг҃гель продꙋма	The angel spoke up,
36:	и рече й	and he told her:
37:	дх҃ь ст҃и че да до́йде на те́бе	ʺHoly Spirit will come upon you.ʺ
38:	҆и си́ла ви́шнѡмꙋ бг҃ꙋ ще да тѐ по́дк҆анѝ	ʺAnd the power of the Most High God will move you.ʺ
39:	҆и щешь да ро́дишь ҆име ст҃о	ʺAnd you will give birth to (a one with) a holy name.ʺ
40:	҆и хо́чет да сѐ наречет си́нь бж҃ї҆и	ʺAnd he will be called Son of God.ʺ
41:	пáки ре́че анг҃гель мари́й,	Again, the angel said to Mary:
42:	҆ете ҆и елисаве́та дрꙋш͛ка твоꙗ̀	ʺBehold, your friend Elisabeth!ʺ
43:	҆и ѡнà заче си́на вь старости сво́й	ʺShe, too, conceived a son in her old age.ʺ
44:	҆етѐ но́й ше́сь мц͒и какво́ е заче́ла	ʺBehold, she (is in) the six(th) month, since she had conceived!ʺ
45:	че ҆ѡна бе́ше не плодна	ʺAs she was barren.ʺ
46:	не рáждаше децà	ʺShe did not give birth to children.ʺ
47:	҆á сьга са͒ повеле́нїе бж҃ие зáче	ʺAnd now, with the will of God she conceived.ʺ
48:	защо́ е дꙋ́ма; бж҃иа бл͒голове́на	ʺBecause the word of God is blessed.ʺ
49:	тоги́ва ре́че дв҃ица мари́ѧ ҆áн͛г҃гелꙋ	Then Virgin Mary said to the angel:
50:	да бꙋ́де во́лꙗ бо́жиꙗ̀; що ре́че тѝ ме́не ҆áн͛г҃геле	ʺMay the will of God will be fulfilled, (as?) you said to me, o angel.ʺ
51:	товà ре́че дв҃ица мари́ѧ	Thus spoke Virgin Mary.
52:	҆и ѡтйде ҆ан͛г҃гель ѿ не҆ꙗ́:	And the angel went away from her.
53:	еѝ же слáва	[Closing Prayers] And hers (is) the glory,
54:	бг҃ꙋ жѐ нáшемꙋ чт͒ь ҆и поклоне́нїе	[Closing Prayers] and to our God honor and respect,
	҆о́ц҃ꙋ ҆и снꙋ ҆и ст҃омꙋ дх҃ꙋ	to the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
	нинꙗ̀ ҆и при́сно ҆и во ве́ки веко́вь	now and ever, and forever!
55:	҆áми́нь:.	Amen.
