4:	[===] bl͒goslovéni ʾi xr͒toljubívi xr͒tiăni bratía moi vozljubléni	[Foreword] O blessed and Christ-loving Christians, my beloved brothers,
	ml͂imь vášu, mílosь ʾi prečt͒uju mt̃rь nášu bdcu,	I pray your mercifulness and our most pure mother, the Mother of God,
	da vì vrazúmi vášь umь ʾi da vi dade krótosь	so that she makes your mind mindful, and that she gives you peacefulness.
5:	ʾi slávu bž̃ïju dá ĭmate u dómi váši	[Foreword] And may you have the glory of God in your houses.
6:	da poslúšate sásь bl̃gogovenïe ʾi sasь ljubóvь	[Foreword] May you hear with piety and love.
7:	ʾi právovér͛no poslušaĭte	[Foreword] Listen in an orthodox manner!
8:	ʾi sasь stráxomь vložete vь srdce vaše st̃oe pisánïe gd͒ne	[Foreword] And put the Holy Scripture of the Lord into your hearts with fear!
9:	ʾwč̃e bl͒go	[Foreword] O father, bless (the reader)!
10:	Vъ šésti mc͒ь doidé čásь	In the sixth month, the time came.
11:	ï zápratì bg͂ь ʾár͛xángelà gavrïĭla u grádь galiléiski zovéše se gradò nazarétь pri dv͂icu márìju	And God sent Archangel Gabriel to a Galilean city - the city was called Nazareth - to Virgin Mary.
12:	ʾi dóĭde gavrïilь ʾár͛xañgelь pri njù	And Archangel Gabriel came to her.
13:	ʾi réče i	And he said to her:
14:	ráduĭ se bl̃godátnaja	ʺRejoice, o virtuous one!ʺ
15:	gd͒ь če dà bude sásь tébe	ʺThe Lord shall be with you!ʺ
16:	bl̃goslovéna žénà ti če(l) dà búdešь	ʺO woman, you will be blessed!ʺ
17:	ʾá wnà vidè ʾán͛g̃gela	And she saw the angel.
18:	katò produma takváva dúma	When he said the word,
	smutí si pámetь wt ʾán͛g̃gelóva ta dúma	she burdened her mind with the angel's word.
19:	ʾi mísleše kakvá štè da búde táę dúma	And she thought, what will be (mean?) that word.
20:	ʾi ʾáng̃gelь ju, réče	And the angel said to her:
21:	ne bóĭ se maríe	ʺHave no fear, o Mary!ʺ
22:	štéšь da náĭdešь bl͂godátь wt bg̃a	ʺYou will find grace of God.ʺ
23:	ʾi štéšь da záčnešь detè u čréva tvoi	ʺAnd you will conceive a child in your bosom.ʺ
24:	ʾi štéšь da ródišь sína	ʺAnd you will give birth to a son.ʺ
25:	ʾi štéšь da mù narečéšь ʾime ʾiïs̃ь	ʺAnd you will give him the name Jesus.ʺ
26:	on štè da búde cr̃ь velíkь	ʺAnd he will become a great king.ʺ
27:	ʾi xóče da sè narečè sínь víšnemù bg̃u	ʺAnd he will be called Son of the Most High God.ʺ
28:	ʾi xóče gd͒ь bg̃ь da mù dadè prestólь u dv͂da ʾóc͂a svoʾegò	ʺAnd Lord God will give him the throne of David, his (fore)father.ʺ
29:	ʾi xoče da cr̃ьstvúva u dómu ʾijakovli do véka	ʺAnd he will rule in the House of Jacob forever.ʺ
30:	ʾi negóvo cr͒tvo ne štè da ĭma konécь	ʺAnd his Kingdom shall have no end.ʺ
31:	togíva réče devíca maríja ʾáng̃gelu	Then Virgin Mary said to the angel:
32:	kakvó šte da búde tova	ʺHow could that be?ʺ
33:	ʾjá múža ne znáemь	ʺI don't know a man.ʺ
34:	[a kakvo štemь čedo do dobïem͛]	ʺSo how can I get a child?ʺ
35:	ang͂gelь produma	The angel spoke up,
36:	i reče ĭ	and he told her:
37:	dx̃ь st̃i če da dóĭde na tébe	ʺHoly Spirit will come upon you.ʺ
38:	ʾi síla víšnwmu bg̃u šte da tè pódkʾanì	ʺAnd the power of the Most High God will move you.ʺ
39:	ʾi štešь da ródišь ʾime st̃o	ʺAnd you will give birth to (a one with) a holy name.ʺ
40:	ʾi xóčet da sè narečet sínь bž̃ïʾi	ʺAnd he will be called Son of God.ʺ
41:	páki réče ang̃gelь maríĭ,	Again, the angel said to Mary:
42:	ʾete ʾi elisavéta druš͛ka tvojà	ʺBehold, your friend Elisabeth!ʺ
43:	ʾi wnà zače sína vь starosti svóĭ	ʺShe, too, conceived a son in her old age.ʺ
44:	ʾetè nóĭ šésь mc͒i kakvó e začéla	ʺBehold, she (is in) the six(th) month, since she had conceived!ʺ
45:	če ʾwna béše ne plodna	ʺAs she was barren.ʺ
46:	ne ráždaše decà	ʺShe did not give birth to children.ʺ
47:	ʾá sьga sa͒ povelénïe bž̃ie záče	ʺAnd now, with the will of God she conceived.ʺ
48:	zaštó e dúma; bž̃ia bl͒golovéna	ʺBecause the word of God is blessed.ʺ
49:	togíva réče dv͂ica maríę ʾán͛g̃gelu	Then Virgin Mary said to the angel:
50:	da búde vólja bóžijà; što réče tì méne ʾán͛g͂gele	ʺMay the will of God will be fulfilled, (as?) you said to me, o angel.ʺ
51:	tovà réče dv͂ica maríę	Thus spoke Virgin Mary.
52:	ʾi ōtĭde ʾan͛g͂gelь wt neʾjá:	And the angel went away from her.
53:	eì že sláva	[Closing Prayers] And hers (is) the glory,
54:	bg̃u žè nášemu čt͒ь ʾi poklonénïe	[Closing Prayers] and to our God honor and respect,
	ʾóc͂u ʾi snu ʾi st̃omu dx͂u	to the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit,
	ninjà ʾi prísno ʾi vo véki vekóvь	now and ever, and forever!
