| 16: | i svekogo čuva ot zlo | And He protects everyone from evil. | 
| 17: | i za svekogo raditъ da ima | And He works for everyone, so that he has (?) | 
| 18: | no (...) lenivi i mlogo sъnъlivi | But (we are?) lazy and very sleepy. | 
| 19: | i ne možeme da preborime diavola | And we cannot defeat the Devil, | 
| da se zagrižame da staneme rano | so that we would care to stand up early, | |
| da ideme u stuju crъkvu da se pomolime bgu | to go to a holy church to pray to God, | |
| i da poslušame stoe pisanie kakvo xubavo namъ kazuva | and to hear the Holy Scripture, what it nicely says, | |
| da počitamo veru i da drъžime praznici | to respect the faith and to uphold the feasts (of saints?), | |
| i oni namъ da pomagat | so that they (saints?) would help us, | |
| ta zamanъ bgъ ednakvo da ni dava bereketъ na zemlju | and so that God gives us always prosperity on the Earth, | |
| oračъ mlogo xlebъ da naxodi | so that a ploughsman gains a lot of bread, | |
| dukjanъџia u dukjanъ pečalъbu da ima | (and) that a storeman has revenue in his store. | |
| 20: | a nia sasъ naše zloumie praznici ne drъžime | And we, with our wicked minds, uphold the feasts not. | 
| 21: | i bga ne počitame | And we do not respect God. | 
| 22: | a bgъ se srъdi teško na nasъ | And God is heavily angry with us. | 
| 23: | kogi pomisli bgъ da sozdade stъ | When God thought about creating the world, | 
| prъvinъ anъgeli sotvori i drugi vekъ | He made first the angels and the other world. | |
| 24: | i anъggeli te da su prilični i svetlivi kakvo e bgu ugodno | And (He made) the angels appropriate and shiny, as it pleases God. | 
| 25: | i malъko su nešto anъggeli po mali ot bga | And angels are a bit smaller than God. | 
| 26: | a drugi stъ nikakvo ne imaše | And the other world did not exist. | 
| 27: | i vosxote bgъ da pokaže svoju mudrosъ | And God wanted to show His wisdom. | 
| 28: | i nъapravi člveka ot zemlju | And He made a man our of soil. | 
| 29: | i duxna mu u usta ta | And He breathed in his mouth. | 
| 30: | i ožive | And he became alive. | 
| 31: | i pomisli bgъ nikakvo da ne umira člvekъ | And God thought, that man should not die. | 
| 32: | zašto se dša ne vidi | Because the soul cannot be seen. | 
| 33: | a telo se vidi | But the body is seen. | 
| 34: | i reče bgъ | And God said (commanded), | 
| člvekъ da se poklanja bgu | that man should bow to God, | |
| i da mu se poklanja sveko sozdanie | and all the creation should bow to (H?)im. | |
| 35: | i na toja stъ vъ malo vreme da živeetъ | And he may live in this world for some time. | 
| 36: | kogi umre na toja stъ a na onja stъ da e živъ do veka | When he dies in this world, may he be alive in the other world forever. | 
| 37: | telo da umira | May the body dies. | 
| 38: | a duša da ne umira | And the soul would not die. | 
| 39: | i kato napravi bgъ adama ot zemlju i dade mu sъnъ | And when God created Adam from the soil, He gave him slumber. | 
| 40: | ta spa tri leta | And he slept for three years. | 
| 41: | i kogi bi treto to leto priide sam xrtosъ pri adama deto speše | And when the third year was (come), the Christ himself came to Adam, who was (still) sleeping. |

| 43: | i napravi mu ženu ot rebro to | And he made a woman from his rib. | 
| 44: | i nareče mu ju da mu e pomoštnica | And he declared her to be his helper. | 
| 45: | i razbudi se adamъ | And Adam woke up. | 
| 46: | i vide ženu če sedi pri samo srdce negovo | And he saw the woman, that she sits next to his own heart. | 
| 47: | i kato ju vide uplaši se | And as he saw her, he became afraid. | 
| 48: | i xrtosъ stoi nadъ nego | And the Christ stood over him. | 
| 49: | ta gi blgoslavja sasъ ruku | And he blessed them. | 
| 50: | i venъčuva gi | And he wed them. | 
| 51: | i reče mu | And he said to him: | 
| 52: | ne boi se adame | ʺHave no fear!ʺ | 
| 53: | taja žena šte da bude tebe pomoštnica | ʺThis woman will be your helper!ʺ | 
| 54: | a onъ kato se razbudi i reče | And as he woke up, he said: | 
| 55: | ja včera kogi zaspaxъ ja ništo pri sebe ne vidox | ʺYesterday, as I fell asleep, I saw nothing next to me.ʺ | 
| 56: | a dneska ženu vidoxъ pri sebe | ʺBut today, I saw a woman next to me.ʺ | 
| 57: | a xs mu paki reče | And the Christ said to him again: | 
| 58: | ne boi se adame da ju miluvašъ kato svoju snagu | ʺHave no fear, o Adam, to love her as your own body!ʺ | 
| 59: | i ona tebe da se sramuva | ʺAnd may she feel shame in front of you!ʺ | 
| 60: | i da se boi ot tebe | ʺAnd may she fears you!ʺ | 
| 61: | i ostavi go bgъ na svoju volju | And God left him to his own will. | 
| 62: | tъkmo edno zapoveda bgъ adamu da satvori | He gave only one order to Adam to do, | 
| i tova da razumee če ima gospodara nadi sebe | and to understand, that he has a lord over himself. | |
| 63: | ta za tova mu dade bъ zapovedъ | So that is why God gave him a command. | 
| 64: | i pušti gi da xodutъ po rai | And He left them to walk the Paradise. | 
| 65: | i reče | And He said: | 
| 66: | adame xodete nizъ rai | ʺO Adam, walk into the Paradise!ʺ | 
| 67: | i ot svi te drъvja vošku jašte | ʺAnd eat fruit from all the trees!ʺ | 
| 68: | a ot krasino razumno drъvo ne jašte | ʺBut do not eat from the Snake's Tree of Knowledge!ʺ | 
| 69: | i xodixu tri godinъ nizъ rai bžii | And they walked for three years in the Paradise of God. | 
| 70: | i priide zmija | And the snake came. | 
| 71: | krasa zmia beše devoikja | The Snake-Krasa was female (lit. a girl). | 
| 72: | zatova i beše ime kraso | That is why its name was Krasa (Beauty). | 
| 73: | priide pri evu | It came to Eve. | 
| 74: | i kata časъ ju dumaše | And it was telling her each hour: |

| 79: | ela stopanine da uznemo makarъ po edno zrъno | ʺCome, o husband, let us take at least one grain!ʺ | 
| 80: | a onъ ne šte da uzme | But he does not want to take. | 
| 81: | boi se | He fears. | 
| 82: | i paki zmia moli evu | And the Snake begged Eve again. | 
| 83: | i tako ju kaže | And thus it spoke: | 
| 84: | evo reči mužu tvoemu adamu | ʺO Eve, tell your husband Adam (to eat)!ʺ | 
| 85: | i ti sama nastani | ʺAnd you stand for it!ʺ | 
| 86: | ta go predumai | ʺAnd persuade him!ʺ | 
| 87: | ta izešte makar po edno zrъno | ʺAnd each of you eat at least one grain!ʺ | 
| 88: | zašto se zovešъ žena kogi ne možešъ muža preduma da poide po tebe | ʺHow can you call yourself a woman, if you cannot persuade a man to go with you?ʺ | 
| 89: | žena može uze mužu i pameto da xodi kato ludъ | ʺA woman can take even the mind from a man, so that he walks like mad.ʺ | 
| 90: | a ti evo ne možešъ preduma tvoigo stopanina adama da zemete po edno zrъno | ʺAnd you, o Eve, cannot persuade your husband Adam to take each one grain!ʺ | 
| 91: | ili mislite če kato štete da stanete da sudite na svičkia stъ vija | ʺOr do think, that you will become (?) judges of the whole world!ʺ | 
| 92: | ta se boite ot bga | ʺAnd thus you fear God so much?ʺ | 
| 93: | ta za tova ne štete da edete ot moja ta vošъka da vi ne naide bgъ nešto maxana | ʺThat is why you don't want to eat from my fruit, so that God does not find something against you!ʺ | 
| 94: | kato ču eva ot krasu zmiju takuvu dumu | When Eve heard the word from the Snake-Krasa, | 
| če xočutъ da sudutъ na svija stъ | that they are going to judge the whole world, | |
| ta go veče ne ostavi adama | she did not leave Adam alone, | |
| dogde go ne izvadi isъ pametъ | until she made him lose him his mind. | |

| 102: | a imaše vreme da reče bgъ adamu da vakusi ot tova drъvo razumno | And there was (going to be?) time, where God would say (?) to Adam to try the Tree of Knowledge. | 
| 103: | no ne potrъpe adamъ dogde da mu reče bgъ | But Adam did not suffer, until God would tell him. | 
| 104: | no prestupi zapovedъ bžiju | But he transgressed the command of God. | 
| 105: | i iskara go bgъ izъ rai | And God drove him out of the Paradise. | 
| 106: | i nikoi ne bi mu krivъ | And nobody was unjust to him. | 
| 107: | i nikoi go ne iskara ot raja bžia | And nobody did drive him out of the Paradise of God, | 
| 108: | no samъ ot svoe bezumie | but he himself (drove himself out of Paradise) by his folly. | 
| 109: | i otpade ot slavu bžiju | And he fell off the glory of God. | 
| 110: | i doide na tuju prokletu zemlju | And he came to that accursed land. | 
| 111: | i porodi se stъ | And the world was born. | 
| 112: | i po golemo źlo poče da se pravi | And worse evil began to be done, | 
| kurъvarъstvo preljudeistvo i ubiistvo kradenie | adultery, fornication, and murder, theft, | |
| zavistъ nenavistъ gnusota ne čistota idolopoklonstvo | jealousy, hate, disgust, impurity, idolatry, | |
| i drugi mlogo ne potrebni raboti sve vragu ugodni | and many improper things, all pleasing the Enemy. | |
| 113: | takovi zla sotvori človekъ na toja lъžovni stъ | The man did such evils in this false world. | 
| 114: | i ošte po golemo zlo stori adamъ | And Adam did even greater evil. | 
| 115: | okajani človekъ ne može da poznae bga sozdatelja svoego da mu se pokloni | The miserable man could not know God, his Creator, to bow to him. | 
| 116: | nelo se poklanjaše na idole na drъvja i na kamene | But he bowed to idols - to wood and stones. | 
| 117: | i ne može da si vozvisi pametъ gore na nbsa | And he could not raise his mind up towards the heavens, | 
| da vidi koliko sianie tamo ima i koliko xubosъ | so that he would see, how much light and beauty is there. | |
| 118: | poglednete na slce i na mcъ i na zvezdi | Look at the Sun, and the Moon, and the stars! | 
| 119: | i pomislete koi gi e sozdalъ | And think, who has created them! | 
| 120: | nali gi e bgъ sozdalъ sasъ edna rečъ | Did God not create them with one word? | 
| 121: | nali svi nasъ bgъ na sebe drъži | Does God not hold all of us on Himself? | 
| 122: | i ne može adamъ da vidi slavu bžiju | And Adam could not see the glory of God. | 
| 123: | zašto beše pomračenъ ot sogrešenie | Because he was darkened by the transgression. | 
| 124: | i rasrъdi se bgъ na adama | And God became angry with Adam. | 
| 125: | i turi go u pakъlъ | And He put him into the hell. | 
| 126: | i sede tamo tri godinъ u muku večnuju | And he sat there in the Eternal Torment for three years | 
| 127: | i po tri te godinъ izvadi go bgъ isъ pakъlo | And after the three years God took him out of the hell. | 
| 128: | i oprosti go | And He forgave him. | 
| 129: | i pušti go paki da xodi po zemlju | And he let him to walk the Earth again. | 
| 130: | i reče mu | And He said to him: | 
| 131: | adame da se umnoži seme tvoe kolъko pesъkъ morъsi | ʺO Adam, may your seed multiplies as the sand of the sea!ʺ | 
| 132: | no da se pokajut tvoi čeda | ʺBut may your children repent,ʺ | 
| da ne vapadnutъ u muku večnuju | ʺso that they won't fall into the Eternal Torment.ʺ | |
| 133: | tava reče xrtosъ bgъ adamu | Christ the God said this to Adam. | 
| 134: | i dade mu dva vola i ralo i kopralju | And He gave him two oxen, and a plough, and a goad. | 
| 135: | i reče mu bgъ | And God said to him: | 
| 136: | adame kogi si prestupilъ zapovedъ moju idi ori zemlju | ʺO Adam, as you have transgressed my command, go (and) plough the ground!ʺ | 
| 137: | i prevraštai ju | ʺAnd till it!ʺ | 
| 138: | i muči ju | ʺAnd torment it!ʺ | 
| 139: | a ja da ti dademъ plodъ ot zemlju tu da se naxranišъ i ti | ʺAnd may I give you the fruit of the soil, so that you feed yourself too.ʺ | 
| 140: | zamanъ da si kalenъ i mokъrъ | ʺMay you be always tainted and wet.ʺ | 
| 141: | i da gazišъ trъne i glože i vlъčecъ | ʺAnd may you step on thorns, and studs, and thistle.ʺ | 
| 142: | i da imašъ šilъci u petu | ʺAnd may you have stakes in the heel (?).ʺ | 
| 143: | ta da spečališъ | ʺAnd thus may you gain.ʺ |
