| 12: | Всѝ хр͒тиӑни верꙋ́емо ҆и їсповедꙋемо ҆имѐ хр͒то́во | (We), all Christians, believe and confess the name of Christ, | 
| че е́ бг҃ь нашь дльго трьпели́вь, ҆и мло́го мл͒ти́вь | that our God is most patient and very merciful. | |
| 13: | ҆и никоги не дáва бг҃ꙋбоѧзли́вомꙋ чл҃ве́к(ꙋ) зло́ да пáти | And he never lets a God-fearing man to suffer evil. | 
| 14: | ҆и ни́комꙋ бг҃ь не зави́два | And God does not envy anyone. | 
| 15: | све́кого милꙋ́ва | He loves everyone. | 
| 16: | ҆и све́кого чꙋ́ва ѿ зло | And He protects everyone from evil. | 
| 17: | ҆и за све́кого ради́ть дá йма | And He works for everyone, so that he has (?) | 
| 18: | но (...) лени́ви ҆и мло́го сьн͛ли́ви | But (we are?) lazy and very sleepy. | 
| 19: | ҆и не мо́жеме да пребо́риме ди҆авола | And we cannot defeat the Devil, | 
| да сѐ загрижаме да стане́ме рáно | so that we would care to stand up early, | |
| дá йдеме ꙋ ст҃ꙋю цр҃ьквꙋ да сѐ помо́лиме бг҃ꙋ | to go to a holy church to pray to God, | |
| ҆и да послꙋ́шаме ст҃ое пи́санїе какво хꙋ́баво намь казꙋ́ва | and to hear the Holy Scripture, what it nicely says, | |
| да почи́тамо ве́рꙋ ҆и да дрьжи́ме прáзници | to respect the faith and to uphold the feasts (of saints?), | |
| ҆и ҆ѡнѝ намь да помагат | so that they (saints?) would help us, | |
| та зáмань бг҃ь ҆еднáкво да нѝ дáва береке́ть нá землю | and so that God gives us always prosperity on the Earth, | |
| ҆ѡрáчь мло́го хле́бь да нахо́ди | so that a ploughsman gains a lot of bread, | |
| дꙋкꙗн͛џиа ꙋ дꙋкꙗ́нь пе́чáл͛бꙋ дá йма | (and) that a storeman has revenue in his store. | |
| 20: | ҆á ни́а сáсь нáше злоꙋ́мие прáзници не дрьжи́ме | And we, with our wicked minds, uphold the feasts not. | 
| 21: | ҆и бг҃а не почи́таме | And we do not respect God. | 
| 22: | ҆á бг҃ь се срь́ди те́шко на нáсь | And God is heavily angry with us. | 
| 23: | коги́ помисли бг҃ь да создадѐ ст҃ь | When God thought about creating the world, | 
| прьви́нь: ҆áн͛г҃ели сотво́ри ҆и дрꙋ́ги ве́кь | He made first the angels and the other world. | |
| 24: | ҆и ан͛г҃гели те да сꙋ̀ прили́чни ҆и светли́ви какво е бг҃ꙋ ꙋго́дно | And (He made) the angels appropriate and shiny, as it pleases God. | 
| 25: | ҆и мал͛ко сꙋ не́що ҆áн͛г҃гели по мáли ѿ бг҃а | And angels are a bit smaller than God. | 
| 26: | ҆á дрꙋги ст҃ь ни́кáкво не ҆имаше | And the other world did not exist. | 
| 27: | ҆и восхотѐ бг҃ь да покáже свою̀ мꙋдро́сь | And God wanted to show His wisdom. | 
| 28: | ї н͛апрáви чл҃ве́ка ѿ зе́млю | And He made a man our of soil. | 
| 29: | ҆и дꙋхнá мꙋ ꙋ ꙋстá та | And He breathed in his mouth. | 
| 30: | ҆и ҆ѡживѐ | And he became alive. | 
| 31: | ҆и поми́сли бг҃ь ни́кáкво да не́ ꙋми́ра чл҃ве́кь | And God thought, that man should not die. | 
| 32: | защо се дш҃а не ви́ди | Because the soul cannot be seen. | 
| 33: | ҆á те́ло се ви́ди | But the body is seen. | 
| 34: | ҆и ре́че бг҃ь | And God said (commanded), | 
| чл҃ве́кь да сѐ поклáнꙗ бг҃ꙋ | that man should bow to God, | |
| ҆и да мꙋ се поклáнꙗ све́ко создáнїе | and all the creation should bow to (H?)im. | |
| 35: | ҆и на то҆ꙗ ст҃ь вь мáло вре́ме да ж҆иве́еть | And he may live in this world for some time. | 
| 36: | ко́ги ҆ꙋмре на то́ꙗ ст҃ь ҆á на ҆ѡнꙗ ст҃ь да е живь до ве́ка | When he dies in this world, may he be alive in the other world forever. | 
| 37: | тело̀ да ꙋми́ра | May the body dies. | 
| 38: | ҆á дꙋшà да нѐ ꙋми́ра | And the soul would not die. | 
| 39: | ҆и като нáправи бг҃ь ҆áдáма ѿ землю ҆и даде мꙋ сь́нь | And when God created Adam from the soil, He gave him slumber. | 
| 40: | та спà три́ летà | And he slept for three years. | 
| 41: | ҆и коги би тре́то то ле́то прїиде сам хр͒тось при адáма дето̀ спе́ше | And when the third year was (come), the Christ himself came to Adam, who was (still) sleeping. | 
| 42: | ҆и їзвади́ мꙋ ѿ ле́вꙋ стрáнꙋ ҆едно̀ ребро̀ | And he took one rib from his left side. | 
| 43: | ҆и направи мꙋ женꙋ̀ ѿ ребро́ то | And he made a woman from his rib. | 
| 44: | ҆и наре́че мꙋ ю да мꙋ е помощни́ца | And he declared her to be his helper. | 
| 45: | ҆и рáзбꙋди́ се ҆áдáмь | And Adam woke up. | 
| 46: | ҆и вѝде женꙋ̀ че седи при́ сáмо срдце не́гово | And he saw the woman, that she sits next to his own heart. | 
| 47: | ҆и като ю видѐ ꙋплаши́ се | And as he saw her, he became afraid. | 
| 48: | ҆и хр͒то́сь сто́й нáдь не́го | And the Christ stood over him. | 
| 49: | та гѝ бл҃гослáвꙗ сáсь рꙋкꙋ: | And he blessed them. | 
| 50: | ҆и вен͛чꙋва ги | And he wed them. | 
| 51: | ҆и ре́че мꙋ | And he said to him: | 
| 52: | не бо́й се ҆áдáме | ʺHave no fear!ʺ | 
| 53: | та҆ꙗ́ женà ще да бꙋ́де те́бе помощни́ца | ʺThis woman will be your helper!ʺ | 
| 54: | ҆á ҆онь като сѐ разбꙋди ҆и ре́че | And as he woke up, he said: | 
| 55: | ҆ꙗ́ вче́ра к҆огѝ заспáхь ҆ꙗ́ ни́що при се́бе не видох | ʺYesterday, as I fell asleep, I saw nothing next to me.ʺ | 
| 56: | ҆á дне́ска женꙋ̀ видохь при се́бе | ʺBut today, I saw a woman next to me.ʺ | 
| 57: | ҆á х͒с мꙋ пакѝ ре́че | And the Christ said to him again: | 
| 58: | не бо́й се ҆áдáме да ю; милꙋ́вашь като̀ свою снáгꙋ | ʺHave no fear, o Adam, to love her as your own body!ʺ | 
| 59: | ҆и ҆ѡна: те́бе да сѐ срамꙋ́ва | ʺAnd may she feel shame in front of you!ʺ | 
| 60: | ҆и да се бо́й ѿ тебе, | ʺAnd may she fears you!ʺ | 
| 61: | ҆и ҆ѡстáви го бг҃ь нá свою̀ во́лю | And God left him to his own will. | 
| 62: | тькмо ҆едно̀ запове́да бг҃ь ҆áдáмꙋ да сатво́ри | He gave only one order to Adam to do, | 
| ҆и товà да разꙋме́е че́ йма господáра надѝ се́бе | and to understand, that he has a lord over himself. | |
| 63: | та за товá мꙋ дáде б҃ь зáповедь | So that is why God gave him a command. | 
| 64: | ҆и пꙋщи ги да хо́дꙋть по рáй | And He left them to walk the Paradise. | 
| 65: | ҆и ре́че | And He said: | 
| 66: | ҆áдáме ходе́те низь рáй | ʺO Adam, walk into the Paradise!ʺ | 
| 67: | ҆и ѿ сви́ те дрь́вꙗ во́шкꙋ ҆ꙗ́ще | ʺAnd eat fruit from all the trees!ʺ | 
| 68: | ҆á ѿ крáсино: рáзꙋмно дрь́во не́ ҆ꙗ́ще | ʺBut do not eat from the Snake's Tree of Knowledge!ʺ | 
| 69: | ҆и ходихꙋ три го́динь низь рáй бж҃їи | And they walked for three years in the Paradise of God. | 
| 70: | ҆и прийдѐ зми҆ꙗ́ | And the snake came. | 
| 71: | крáса зми́а бе́ше де́войкꙗ | The Snake-Krasa was female (lit. a girl). | 
| 72: | затовá й бе́ше ҆имѐ красо | That is why its name was Krasa (Beauty). | 
| 73: | прїиде при́ ҆евꙋ | It came to Eve. | 
| 74: | ҆и кáта чась ю" дꙋмаше | And it was telling her each hour: | 
| 75: | ҆ево̀ ꙋзми ѿ мо҆е то дрь́во во́ш͛кꙋ | ʺO Eve, take the fruit of my tree!ʺ | 
| 76: | та ҆ꙗ́ш͛те двои́ца сáсь ҆áдáма | ʺAnd you both with Adam, eat (it)!ʺ | 
| 77: | токо̀ да ви́дишь каквá е вош͛ка слáд͛ка, | ʺJust that you see how sweet is the fruit.ʺ | 
| 78: | ҆и евà продꙋ́ма ҆áдамꙋ | And Eve said to Adam: | 
| 79: | ҆е́ла стопáнїне да ꙋзне́мо макáрь по ҆едно зрь́но | ʺCome, o husband, let us take at least one grain!ʺ | 
| 80: | а ҆о́нь не щѐ да ҆ꙋзме | But he does not want to take. | 
| 81: | бо́й се | He fears. | 
| 82: | ҆и паки: змиа мо́ли ҆е́вꙋ | And the Snake begged Eve again. | 
| 83: | ҆и тáко ю͒ кáже | And thus it spoke: | 
| 84: | ҆е́во ре́чѝ мꙋ́жꙋ тво҆емꙋ ҆áдамꙋ | ʺO Eve, tell your husband Adam (to eat)!ʺ | 
| 85: | ҆и тѝ сáма настанѝ | ʺAnd you stand for it!ʺ | 
| 86: | та го̀ предꙋ́май | ʺAnd persuade him!ʺ | 
| 87: | та изе́ще макар по ҆едно̀ зрь́но | ʺAnd each of you eat at least one grain!ʺ | 
| 88: | зáщо се зове́шь же́нà коги не мо́жешь мꙋ́жа предꙋ́ма да по́йде по те́бе | ʺHow can you call yourself a woman, if you cannot persuade a man to go with you?ʺ | 
| 89: | женà мо́же ꙋзѐ мꙋжꙋ ҆и памето да хо́ди като̀ лꙋдь | ʺA woman can take even the mind from a man, so that he walks like mad.ʺ | 
| 90: | ҆á тѝ ҆ево не мо́:жешь предꙋма тво́йго стопáнина ҆áдáма да зе́ме́те по ҆едно̀ зрь́но | ʺAnd you, o Eve, cannot persuade your husband Adam to take each one grain!ʺ | 
| 91: | и́ли мислите че като́ ще́те да стáнете да сꙋ́дите на сви́чкиа ст҃ь ви́ꙗ | ʺOr do think, that you will become (?) judges of the whole world!ʺ | 
| 92: | та сѐ бо́йте ѿ: бг҃а | ʺAnd thus you fear God so much?ʺ | 
| 93: | та за товà не ще́те да еде́те ѿ моꙗ та вош͛ка да вѝ не нáйде бг҃ь не́що мáханà | ʺThat is why you don't want to eat from my fruit, so that God does not find something against you!ʺ | 
| 94: | като̀ чꙋ ҆ева ѿ крáсꙋ зми́ю такꙋвꙋ дꙋ́мꙋ | When Eve heard the word from the Snake-Krasa, | 
| че хо́чꙋть да сꙋ́дꙋть на свы́ꙗ ст҃ь | that they are going to judge the whole world, | |
| та го̀ вечѐ не ҆ѡстави ҆áдама | she did not leave Adam alone, | |
| догде го не́ извади ҆ись пáметь | until she made him lose him his mind. | |
| 95: | пресато́ни гѡ: | She persuaded him. | 
| 96: | ҆и ꙋзе́хꙋ по едно̀ зрь́но | They each took one grain. | 
| 97: | ҆и ҆ꙗ́дохꙋ | And they ate. | 
| 98: | ҆и какво ҆ꙗ́дохꙋ ѿ товà дрь́во рáзꙋмно тáко собле́ко́хꙋ се | And as they ate, they put off their clothes. | 
| 99: | ҆и ҆ѡстáхꙋ голѝ за срáмь | And they remained naked, for shame. | 
| 100: | чꙋете ли хр͒тиӑни какво́ се прель́сти нáшь; праде́да ҆áдáмь | Do you hear, o Christians, how our forefather Adam was deceived? | 
| 101: | [зри] | [sidenote] Behold! | 
| 102: | ҆á ймаше вре́ме да речѐ бг҃ь ҆áдáмꙋ да вакꙋ́си ѿ товà: дрь́во рáзꙋмно | And there was (going to be?) time, where God would say (?) to Adam to try the Tree of Knowledge. | 
| 103: | но не потрьпѐ ҆áдáмь ҆догдѐ да мꙋ речѐ бг҃ь | But Adam did not suffer, until God would tell him. | 
| 104: | но пре́стꙋпи запове́дь бж҃ию | But he transgressed the command of God. | 
| 105: | ҆и искарá го бг҃ь ҆изь рáй; | And God drove him out of the Paradise. | 
| 106: | ҆и ни́ко҆и не би́ мꙋ кри́вь | And nobody was unjust to him. | 
| 107: | ҆и никои го не́ йскарà ѿ раꙗ бж҃иа | And nobody did drive him out of the Paradise of God, | 
| 108: | но сáмь ѿ своѐ безꙋ́мие | but he himself (drove himself out of Paradise) by his folly. | 
| 109: | ҆и ѿпàде ѿ слàвꙋ бж҃ию̀ | And he fell off the glory of God. | 
| 110: | ҆и до́йде на тꙋ́ю прокле́тꙋ зе́млю | And he came to that accursed land. | 
| 111: | ҆и породи́ се ст҃ь | And the world was born. | 
| 112: | ҆и по голе́мо ѕло̀ почѐ да сѐ прáви | And worse evil began to be done, | 
| кꙋр͛вар͛ство прелюде́йство ҆и ꙋбииство краде́нїе | adultery, fornication, and murder, theft, | |
| зави́сть ненави́сть гнꙋсотà; не́ чистотà ҆идолопокло҆нство | jealousy, hate, disgust, impurity, idolatry, | |
| ҆и дрꙋ́ги мло́го не потре́бни рабо́ти свѐ врáгꙋ ꙋго́дни | and many improper things, all pleasing the Enemy. | |
| 113: | тако́ви злá сотво́ри чло́ве́кь н҆а то́ꙗ льжо́вни ст҃ь | The man did such evils in this false world. | 
| 114: | ҆и ҆ѡще по голе́мо зло́ сто́рѝ ҆адáмь | And Adam did even greater evil. | 
| 115: | ҆ѡка҆ꙗ́ни члове́кь не можѐ да познáе бг҃а создателꙗ сво҆его̀ да мꙋ сѐ покло́ни | The miserable man could not know God, his Creator, to bow to him. | 
| 116: | нело сѐ поклáнꙗше на йдоле на дрь́вꙗ ҆и на кáмене | But he bowed to idols - to wood and stones. | 
| 117: | ҆и не можѐ да сѝ возви́си пáметь го́ре на нб҃са | And he could not raise his mind up towards the heavens, | 
| да ви́ди ко́ли́ко сианїе тáмо ҆има ҆и коли́ко хꙋбо́сь: | so that he would see, how much light and beauty is there. | |
| 118: | погледне́те нá сл҃це ҆и на мц͒ь ҆и на зве́зди | Look at the Sun, and the Moon, and the stars! | 
| 119: | ҆и помисле́те ко́й ги е создáль | And think, who has created them! | 
| 120: | нали́ ги е бг҃ь создáль сáсь ҆една ре́чь | Did God not create them with one word? | 
| 121: | налѝ свѝ нáсь бг҃ь на се́бе дрьжѝ | Does God not hold all of us on Himself? | 
| 122: | ҆и не можѐ ҆áдáмь да ви́ди слáвꙋ бж҃ию | And Adam could not see the glory of God. | 
| 123: | защо бе́ше помрáчень ѿ со́греше́нїе | Because he was darkened by the transgression. | 
| 124: | ҆и расрьди́ се бг҃ь на ҆áдáма | And God became angry with Adam. | 
| 125: | ҆и тꙋри го ꙋ пак͛ль | And He put him into the hell. | 
| 126: | ҆и се́де тáмо три́ го́динь ꙋ мꙋ́кꙋ ве́чнꙋю | And he sat there in the Eternal Torment for three years | 
| 127: | ҆и по три́ те го́динь ҆и́звáди го бг҃ь ҆ись пакь́ло | And after the three years God took him out of the hell. | 
| 128: | ҆и ҆ѡпро́сти го | And He forgave him. | 
| 129: | ҆и пꙋ́щи го паки да ходи по́ землю | And he let him to walk the Earth again. | 
| 130: | ҆и ре́че мꙋ | And He said to him: | 
| 131: | ҆áдáме; да сѐ ꙋмно́жи се́ме твоѐ кол͛ко пе́ськь мор͛си | ʺO Adam, may your seed multiplies as the sand of the sea!ʺ | 
| 132: | но да сѐ покают твои: че́да | ʺBut may your children repent,ʺ | 
| да нѐ вапáднꙋть ꙋ мꙋ́кꙋ вечнꙋю | ʺso that they won't fall into the Eternal Torment.ʺ | |
| 133: | тавà ре́че хр͒то́сь бг҃ь ҆áдáмꙋ | Christ the God said this to Adam. | 
| 134: | ҆и дáде мꙋ двà волà ҆и рáло ҆и копрáлю | And He gave him two oxen, and a plough, and a goad. | 
| 135: | ҆и рече мꙋ бг҃ь | And God said to him: | 
| 136: | ҆áдáме коги́ си престꙋ́пиль; зáповедь мою ҆иди ҆ѡрѝ зе́млю | ʺO Adam, as you have transgressed my command, go (and) plough the ground!ʺ | 
| 137: | ҆и преврáщай ю͒ | ʺAnd till it!ʺ | 
| 138: | ҆и мꙋчи́ ю | ʺAnd torment it!ʺ | 
| 139: | ҆á ҆ꙗ́ да тѝ даде́мь пло́дь ѿ землю́ тꙋ да сѐ нахрáнишь и тѝ | ʺAnd may I give you the fruit of the soil, so that you feed yourself too.ʺ | 
| 140: | зáмань да сѝ кáлень ҆и мок͛рь | ʺMay you be always tainted and wet.ʺ | 
| 141: | ҆и да гáзишь трь́не ҆и гло́же ҆и вльче́ць | ʺAnd may you step on thorns, and studs, and thistle.ʺ | 
| 142: | ҆и да ҆имашь шил͛ци ꙋ пе́тꙋ | ʺAnd may you have stakes in the heel (?).ʺ | 
| 143: | та да спечáлишь | ʺAnd thus may you gain.ʺ | 
| 144: | ҆и що ꙋрабо́тишь дне́ска да не мо́жешь да го̀ ди́гнешь на ко́ла | ʺAnd may you cannot put on a cart what you do today.ʺ | 
| 145: | ҆á тѝ ҆ево ҆иди предѝ | ʺAnd you, o Eve, go (and) weave!ʺ | 
| 146: | ҆и тачѝ | ʺAnd stitch! (?)ʺ | 
| 147: | ҆и да не́ машь ми́ра | ʺAnd may you have no peace.ʺ | 
| 148: | ҆и дне́ска ҆и ноще́ска сáсь еднà но́га люл͛кꙗ да лю́лꙗшь | ʺAnd may you tend the crib with one leg.ʺ | 
| 149: | ҆а сáсь дрꙋга; на сто́ль да седи́шь | ʺAnd may you sit on a stool with the other (leg).ʺ | 
| 150: | ҆и сáсь рꙋке́ те никоги ми́ра да не́ машь | ʺAnd may you never have peace with your hands.ʺ | 
| 151: | ҆и що ꙋрабо́тиш за го́динꙋ да го̀ зе́мешь по́дь ми́ш͛кꙋ | ʺAnd what you gain, may you put under your arm (?).ʺ | 
| 152: | тако̀ бл҃госло́ви нáсь бг҃ь заради пре́стꙋпле́нїе ҆áдáмово | And thus God ʺblessedʺ us because of Adam's transgression. | 
| 153: | да нѐ бе́ше престꙋ́пи́ль ҆о́нь | If he would not have transgressed, | 
| бел͛ки ҆и ниа не щех͛ме ꙋпáднꙋвáти ꙋ тол͛кова гре́хь | maybe even we would not fall into so much sin. | |
