15: svékogo milúva He loves everyone.
16: ʾi svékogo čúva wt zlo And He protects everyone from evil.
17: ʾi za svékogo radítь dá ĭma And He works for everyone, so that he has (?)
18: no (...) lenívi ʾi mlógo sьn͛lívi But (we are?) lazy and very sleepy.
19: ʾi ne móžeme da prebórime diʾavola And we cannot defeat the Devil,
da sè zagrižame da stanéme ráno so that we would care to stand up early,
dá ĭdeme u st̃uju cr̃ьkvu da sè pomólime bg̃u to go to a holy church to pray to God,
ʾi da poslúšame st̃oe písanïe kakvo xúbavo namь kazúva and to hear the Holy Scripture, what it nicely says,
da počítamo véru ʾi da drьžíme práznici to respect the faith and to uphold the feasts (of saints?),
ʾi ʾwnì namь da pomagat so that they (saints?) would help us,
ta zámanь bg̃ь ʾednákvo da nì dáva berekétь ná zemlju and so that God gives us always prosperity on the Earth,
ʾwráčь mlógo xlébь da naxódi so that a ploughsman gains a lot of bread,
dukjan͛џia u dukjánь péčál͛bu dá ĭma (and) that a storeman has revenue in his store.
20: ʾá nía sásь náše zloúmie práznici ne drьžíme And we, with our wicked minds, uphold the feasts not.
21: ʾi bg̃a ne počítame And we do not respect God.
22: ʾá bg̃ь se srь´di téško na násь And God is heavily angry with us.
23: kogí pomisli bg͂ь da sozdadè st̃ь When God thought about creating the world,
prьvínь: ʾán͛g͂eli sotvóri ʾi drúgi vékь He made first the angels and the other world.
24: ʾi an͛g̃geli te da sù prilíčni ʾi svetlívi kakvo e bg̃u ugódno And (He made) the angels appropriate and shiny, as it pleases God.
25: ʾi mal͛ko su néšto ʾán͛g͂geli po máli wt bg̃a And angels are a bit smaller than God.
26: ʾá drugi st̃ь níkákvo ne ʾimaše And the other world did not exist.
27: ʾi vosxotè bg̃ь da pokáže svojù mudrósь And God wanted to show His wisdom.
28: ï n͛aprávi čl͂véka wt zémlju And He made a man our of soil.
29: ʾi duxná mu u ustá ta And He breathed in his mouth.
30: ʾi ʾwživè And he became alive.
31: ʾi pomísli bg̃ь níkákvo da né umíra čl͂vékь And God thought, that man should not die.
32: zašto se dš̃a ne vídi Because the soul cannot be seen.
33: ʾá télo se vídi But the body is seen.
34: ʾi réče bg̃ь And God said (commanded),
čl͂vékь da sè poklánja bg̃u that man should bow to God,
ʾi da mu se poklánja svéko sozdánïe and all the creation should bow to (H?)im.
35: ʾi na toʾja st̃ь vь málo vréme da žʾivéetь And he may live in this world for some time.
36: kógi ʾumre na tója st̃ь ʾá na ʾwnja st̃ь da e živь do véka When he dies in this world, may he be alive in the other world forever.
37: telò da umíra May the body dies.
38: ʾá dušà da nè umíra And the soul would not die.
39: ʾi kato nápravi bg̃ь ʾádáma wt zemlju ʾi dade mu sь´nь And when God created Adam from the soil, He gave him slumber.
40: ta spà trí letà And he slept for three years.
41: ʾi kogi bi tréto to léto prïide sam xr͒tosь pri adáma detò spéše And when the third year was (come), the Christ himself came to Adam, who was (still) sleeping.
42: ʾi ïzvadí mu wt lévu stránu ʾednò rebrò And he took one rib from his left side.
43: ʾi napravi mu ženù wt rebró to And he made a woman from his rib.
44: ʾi naréče mu ju da mu e pomoštníca And he declared her to be his helper.
45: ʾi rázbudí se ʾádámь And Adam woke up.
46: ʾi vìde ženù če sedi prí sámo srdce négovo And he saw the woman, that she sits next to his own heart.
47: ʾi kato ju vidè uplaší se And as he saw her, he became afraid.
48: ʾi xr͒tósь stóĭ nádь négo And the Christ stood over him.
49: ta gì bl̃goslávja sásь ruku: And he blessed them.
50: ʾi ven͛čuva gi And he wed them.
51: ʾi réče mu And he said to him:
52: ne bóĭ se ʾádáme ʺHave no fear!ʺ
53: taʾjá ženà šte da búde tébe pomoštníca ʺThis woman will be your helper!ʺ
54: ʾá ʾonь kato sè razbudi ʾi réče And as he woke up, he said:
55: ʾjá včéra kʾogì zaspáxь ʾjá níšto pri sébe ne vidox ʺYesterday, as I fell asleep, I saw nothing next to me.ʺ
56: ʾá dnéska ženù vidoxь pri sébe ʺBut today, I saw a woman next to me.ʺ
57: ʾá x͒s mu pakì réče And the Christ said to him again:
58: ne bóĭ se ʾádáme da ju; milúvašь katò svoju snágu ʺHave no fear, o Adam, to love her as your own body!ʺ
59: ʾi ʾwna: tébe da sè sramúva ʺAnd may she feel shame in front of you!ʺ
60: ʾi da se bóĭ wt tebe, ʺAnd may she fears you!ʺ
61: ʾi ʾwstávi go bg̃ь ná svojù vólju And God left him to his own will.
62: tьkmo ʾednò zapovéda bg̃ь ʾádámu da satvóri He gave only one order to Adam to do,
ʾi tovà da razumée čé ĭma gospodára nadì sébe and to understand, that he has a lord over himself.
63: ta za tová mu dáde b̃ь zápovedь So that is why God gave him a command.
64: ʾi pušti gi da xódutь po ráĭ And He left them to walk the Paradise.
65: ʾi réče And He said:
66: ʾádáme xodéte nizь ráĭ ʺO Adam, walk into the Paradise!ʺ
67: ʾi wt sví te drь´vja vóšku ʾjášte ʺAnd eat fruit from all the trees!ʺ
68: ʾá wt krásino: rázumno drь´vo né ʾjášte ʺBut do not eat from the Snake's Tree of Knowledge!ʺ
69: ʾi xodixu tri gódinь nizь ráĭ bž̃ïi And they walked for three years in the Paradise of God.
70: ʾi priĭdè zmiʾjá And the snake came.
71: krása zmía béše dévoĭkja The Snake-Krasa was female (lit. a girl).
72: zatová ĭ béše ʾimè kraso That is why its name was Krasa (Beauty).
73: prïide prí ʾevu It came to Eve.
74: ʾi káta časь ju" dumaše And it was telling her each hour:
75: ʾevò uzmi wt moʾe to drь´vo vóš͛ku ʺO Eve, take the fruit of my tree!ʺ
76: ta ʾjáš͛te dvoíca sásь ʾádáma ʺAnd you both with Adam, eat (it)!ʺ
77: tokò da vídišь kakvá e voš͛ka slád͛ka, ʺJust that you see how sweet is the fruit.ʺ
78: ʾi evà prodúma ʾádamu And Eve said to Adam:
79: ʾéla stopánïne da uznémo makárь po ʾedno zrь´no ʺCome, o husband, let us take at least one grain!ʺ
80: a ʾónь ne štè da ʾuzme But he does not want to take.
81: bóĭ se He fears.
82: ʾi paki: zmia móli ʾévu And the Snake begged Eve again.
83: ʾi táko ju͒ káže And thus it spoke:
84: ʾévo réčì múžu tvoʾemu ʾádamu ʺO Eve, tell your husband Adam (to eat)!ʺ
85: ʾi tì sáma nastanì ʺAnd you stand for it!ʺ
86: ta gò predúmaĭ ʺAnd persuade him!ʺ
87: ta izéšte makar po ʾednò zrь´no ʺAnd each of you eat at least one grain!ʺ
88: zášto se zovéšь žénà kogi ne móžešь múža predúma da póĭde po tébe ʺHow can you call yourself a woman, if you cannot persuade a man to go with you?ʺ
89: ženà móže uzè mužu ʾi pameto da xódi katò ludь ʺA woman can take even the mind from a man, so that he walks like mad.ʺ
90: ʾá tì ʾevo ne mó:žešь preduma tvóĭgo stopánina ʾádáma da zéméte po ʾednò zrь´no ʺAnd you, o Eve, cannot persuade your husband Adam to take each one grain!ʺ
91: íli mislite če kató štéte da stánete da súdite na svíčkia st̃ь víja ʺOr do think, that you will become (?) judges of the whole world!ʺ
92: ta sè bóĭte wt: bg͂a ʺAnd thus you fear God so much?ʺ
93: ta za tovà ne štéte da edéte wt moja ta voš͛ka da vì ne náĭde bg͂ь néšto máxanà ʺThat is why you don't want to eat from my fruit, so that God does not find something against you!ʺ
94: katò ču ʾeva wt krásu zmíju takuvu dúmu When Eve heard the word from the Snake-Krasa,
če xóčutь da súdutь na svýja st̃ь that they are going to judge the whole world,
ta gò večè ne ʾwstavi ʾádama she did not leave Adam alone,
dogde go né izvadi ʾisь pámetь until she made him lose him his mind.

96: ʾi uzéxu po ednò zrь´no They each took one grain.
97: ʾi ʾjádoxu And they ate.
98: ʾi kakvo ʾjádoxu wt tovà drь´vo rázumno táko soblékóxu se And as they ate, they put off their clothes.
99: ʾi ʾwstáxu golì za srámь And they remained naked, for shame.
100: čuete li xr͒tiăni kakvó se prelь´sti nášь; pradéda ʾádámь Do you hear, o Christians, how our forefather Adam was deceived?

102: ʾá ĭmaše vréme da rečè bg̃ь ʾádámu da vakúsi wt tovà: drь´vo rázumno And there was (going to be?) time, where God would say (?) to Adam to try the Tree of Knowledge.
103: no ne potrьpè ʾádámь ʾdogdè da mu rečè bg̃ь But Adam did not suffer, until God would tell him.
104: no préstupi zapovédь bž̃iju But he transgressed the command of God.
105: ʾi iskará go bg̃ь ʾizь ráĭ; And God drove him out of the Paradise.
106: ʾi níkoʾi ne bí mu krívь And nobody was unjust to him.
107: ʾi nikoi go né ĭskarà wt raja bž͂ia And nobody did drive him out of the Paradise of God,
108: no sámь wt svoè bezúmie but he himself (drove himself out of Paradise) by his folly.
109: ʾi wtpàde wt slàvu bž͂ijù And he fell off the glory of God.
110: ʾi dóĭde na túju proklétu zémlju And he came to that accursed land.
111: ʾi porodí se st̃ь And the world was born.
112: ʾi po golémo źlò počè da sè právi And worse evil began to be done,
kur͛var͛stvo preljudéĭstvo ʾi ubiistvo kradénïe adultery, fornication, and murder, theft,
zavístь nenavístь gnusotà; né čistotà ʾidolopokloʾnstvo jealousy, hate, disgust, impurity, idolatry,
ʾi drúgi mlógo ne potrébni rabóti svè vrágu ugódni and many improper things, all pleasing the Enemy.
113: takóvi zlá sotvóri člóvékь nʾa tója lьžóvni st̃ь The man did such evils in this false world.
114: ʾi ʾwšte po golémo zló stórì ʾadámь And Adam did even greater evil.
115: ʾwkaʾjáni človékь ne možè da poznáe bg̃a sozdatelja svoʾegò da mu sè poklóni The miserable man could not know God, his Creator, to bow to him.
116: nelo sè poklánjaše na ĭdole na drь´vja ʾi na kámene But he bowed to idols - to wood and stones.
117: ʾi ne možè da sì vozvísi pámetь góre na nb̃sa And he could not raise his mind up towards the heavens,
da vídi kólíko sianïe támo ʾima ʾi kolíko xubósь: so that he would see, how much light and beauty is there.
118: poglednéte ná sl͂ce ʾi na mc͒ь ʾi na zvézdi Look at the Sun, and the Moon, and the stars!
119: ʾi pomisléte kóĭ gi e sozdálь And think, who has created them!
120: nalí gi e bg̃ь sozdálь sásь ʾedna réčь Did God not create them with one word?
121: nalì svì násь bg̃ь na sébe drьžì Does God not hold all of us on Himself?
122: ʾi ne možè ʾádámь da vídi slávu bž͂iju And Adam could not see the glory of God.
123: zašto béše pomráčenь wt sógrešénïe Because he was darkened by the transgression.
124: ʾi rasrьdí se bg̃ь na ʾádáma And God became angry with Adam.
125: ʾi turi go u pak͛lь And He put him into the hell.
126: ʾi séde támo trí gódinь u múku véčnuju And he sat there in the Eternal Torment for three years
127: ʾi po trí te gódinь ʾízvádi go bg̃ь ʾisь pakь´lo And after the three years God took him out of the hell.
128: ʾi ʾwprósti go And He forgave him.
129: ʾi púšti go paki da xodi pó zemlju And he let him to walk the Earth again.
130: ʾi réče mu And He said to him:
131: ʾádáme; da sè umnóži séme tvoè kol͛ko pésьkь mor͛si ʺO Adam, may your seed multiplies as the sand of the sea!ʺ
132: no da sè pokajut tvoi: čéda ʺBut may your children repent,ʺ
da nè vapádnutь u múku večnuju ʺso that they won't fall into the Eternal Torment.ʺ
133: tavà réče xr͒tósь bg̃ь ʾádámu Christ the God said this to Adam.
134: ʾi dáde mu dvà volà ʾi rálo ʾi koprálju And He gave him two oxen, and a plough, and a goad.
135: ʾi reče mu bg̃ь And God said to him:
136: ʾádáme kogí si prestúpilь; zápovedь moju ʾidi ʾwrì zémlju ʺO Adam, as you have transgressed my command, go (and) plough the ground!ʺ
137: ʾi prevráštaĭ ju͒ ʺAnd till it!ʺ
138: ʾi mučí ju ʺAnd torment it!ʺ
139: ʾá ʾjá da tì dadémь plódь wt zemljú tu da sè naxránišь i tì ʺAnd may I give you the fruit of the soil, so that you feed yourself too.ʺ
140: zámanь da sì kálenь ʾi mok͛rь ʺMay you be always tainted and wet.ʺ
141: ʾi da gázišь trь´ne ʾi glóže ʾi vlьčécь ʺAnd may you step on thorns, and studs, and thistle.ʺ
142: ʾi da ʾimašь šil͛ci u pétu ʺAnd may you have stakes in the heel (?).ʺ
143: ta da spečálišь ʺAnd thus may you gain.ʺ
144: ʾi što urabótišь dnéska da ne móžešь da gò dígnešь na kóla ʺAnd may you cannot put on a cart what you do today.ʺ
145: ʾá tì ʾevo ʾidi predì ʺAnd you, o Eve, go (and) weave!ʺ
146: ʾi tačì ʺAnd stitch! (?)ʺ
147: ʾi da né mašь míra ʺAnd may you have no peace.ʺ
148: ʾi dnéska ʾi noštéska sásь ednà nóga ljul͛kja da ljúljašь ʺAnd may you tend the crib with one leg.ʺ
149: ʾa sásь druga; na stólь da sedíšь ʺAnd may you sit on a stool with the other (leg).ʺ
150: ʾi sásь ruké te nikogi míra da né mašь ʺAnd may you never have peace with your hands.ʺ
151: ʾi što urabótiš za gódinu da gò zémešь pódь míš͛ku ʺAnd what you gain, may you put under your arm (?).ʺ
152: takò bl͂goslóvi násь bg̃ь zaradi préstuplénïe ʾádámovo And thus God ʺblessedʺ us because of Adam's transgression.
153: da nè béše prestúpílь ʾónь If he would not have transgressed,
bel͛ki ʾi nia ne štex͛me upádnuváti u tol͛kova gréxь maybe even we would not fall into so much sin.
