May you know well, o Emperor!ʺ |

And he teaches them to worship Christ the Crucified.ʺ |
We are your loyal servants, o Emperor.ʺ |
So that is why we came, to tell you, so that you judge him,ʺ |

 | ако ли́ тако̀ не сотво́ришь после мло́го хочꙋ да се ҆ѡскрь́бишь когѝ видишь мло́го ели́не да стáꙗть хр͒ти́ӑне | ʺIf you will not do so, later you will be sad seeing many pagans becoming Christians.ʺ |
Because Pantaleon heals people by the (art of) medicine of Euphrosynus.ʺ |
And he has called (it), that it is the Christ healing.ʺ |
If you don't believe us, call the blind man, whom Pantaleon healed!ʺ |

Then the Emperor became sad. |
And he said: |
Bring in the blind man soon!ʺ |
And they brought him. |
And the Emperor asked him: |
May you tell me the truth!ʺ |
How did Pantaleon heal you?ʺ |
And he declared without any worry or fear, |
 | ҆и рече | and he said: |

And I saw the sun and people.ʺ |
And the Emperor said: |
How dare (?) you say, that the Christ healed you, and not our gods?ʺ |
But the blind man said: |
 | нехáи цр҃ꙋ | ʺLet it go, o Emperor!ʺ |
I gave a lot of property to your doctors.ʺ |
And they could not heal me.ʺ |
But even what I was able to see previously, with their healing they made me totally blind.ʺ |
Now, whom should I call a doctor?ʺ |
Those doctors, who call to your God Asclepius, when they start to heal a man?ʺ |

O man, don't be mindless!ʺ |
But understand:ʺ |
Our gods opened your eyes, not the Christ!ʺ |
And may I do not hear anymore, that you are summoning the name of Christ!ʺ |
And the blind man did not become afraid of the Emperor, nor of torture, nor of death. |
For he said: |
O Emperor, you are mindless and blind!ʺ |
And do not think of seeing the truth of Christ (?)ʺ |

And the Emperor became angry. |
And he commanded. |
And they killed the blessed blind man. |
He spilled his blood. |
And he was enlightened. |
And he took the wreaths of martyrdom. |
St. Pantaleon secretly bought the relics of the blind man. |
And he buried him next to his father. |
Then the Emperor commanded to bring St. Pantaleon. |
And as he was walking on the way, he prayed to God. |
And he spoke: |
O God, do not leave your servant up to the end!ʺ |
Listen to my prayer!ʺ |
And the saint stood in front of the Emperor. |
