59: napíšeté mi ʾikonu vo ʾóbrazь st̃ágo iʾwana bg͂oslóva ʺDraw for me an icon in the image of St. John the Evangelistʺ

83: ʾi kazaxu cr̃u And they told the king
84: ʾi rekoxu And they said:
85: ʾima ʾu tvoégo píscà učenikь tréti dénь kakvó e došélь da se uči ʺIn your court there is a painter, a student for the third day, who has come to learnʺ
86: ʾá včéra napisálь ʾiwana bg͂oslóva ʾikónu ʺAnd yesterday he drew an icon for John the Evangelistʺ

110: ʾi dúmaxu And they were saying
111: ne ma u tója st̃ь takvóvo ʺThere is no such thig in this world!ʺ
112: ʾi pogledvaxu gusárovo pisanïe And they were looking at the Gusar's drawing
113: ʾi umь ʾimь zanóseše wt xubóstь čísto ʾi čt͒no And their mind was overcame purely and truly by the beauty
114: ʾá cr͂ь uze sokólь And the king took the falcon
115: ʾi pušti go And he let it go
116: ʾi sokolь fánu gusárovu ptícu na sténe And the falcon caught the Gusar's bird on the wall
