12: ʾi réče ʾándréĭ And Andrew said:
13: ʾwtidi wt tuka ne čestívi ʾi prokléti dïavolu neprijázneni ʺGo away from here, sinful and evil devil!ʺ
14: reče diavolь andréju The devil said to Andrew:
15: kakovь sì tì nepriʾjaznenь i tegčelivь ʺWhy are you so evil and annoying?ʺ
16: takóvogo drúgogo ne ma po vsému cr̃igrádu ʺThere is no one else like this in whole Constantinopleʺ
17: ʾáko li sakášь da tì kažemь právo ʺIf you want me to tell it to you straightʺ
18: xóče da prïide léto ʺThe year will comeʺ
19: ta štémь da naúčim sví te luge da tvórutь mojù vólju ʾi da stánutь móĭ ʺAnd I will teach all people to do as I wish and to become mineʺ

26: kogì načnemь da nè učimь sñove čl̃ovéčeski ni našto togíva če da rečútь ljudie ʺWhen I start to teach the sons of man, the people start to say:ʺ
27: wx léle koĭ nasь da nauči za néšto ʺOh, who will teach us something?ʺ
28: togíva xoštutь člvéci wt sámi sébe da počnutь da tvórutь svù moju volju ʺThen people are going to begin doing all my will by themselvesʺ
29: ʾá ti ʾan͛dree kakvò míslišь ʺAnd you, Andrew, what do you think?ʺ
30: ʾá ʾándrei réče diʾávolu And Andrew said to the devil
31: kakvo ti vídišь bg͂u našemu čudesà ʺHow can you see the miracles of our God?ʺ
32: diavolь ne móže da prozre ništo takovo čúdno délo ʺThe devil cannot see through any such wondrous deedʺ
33: páki réče diʾavolь The devil said again
34: ʾóc͂ь nášь satána razumenь: ʾestь ʺOur father Satan is reasonableʺ
35: u ʾadь sedi ʺHe sits in hellʺ
36: ʾi ʾw támo xitrostuva ʺAnd from there he is making his designsʺ

44: togíva réče ʾanьdréi diávolu Then Andrew said to the devil:
45: wt kói gréxove čl̃véči; veselít se ródь vášь náĭ bóle ʺAt which sin of man does your kind rejoice the most?ʺ
46: reče diʾavolь The devil said
47: wt wpádnici ʾi wt potvor͛ci ʾi wt kur͛var͛stvo sasь ródninu ʺFrom apostates, and slanderers, and from adultery with one's family.ʺ
48: za tía se nai veseli rodь nášь ʺFor those, our kin is most happyʺ
49: ʾi koi počne da nenaví-di čl̃veka ʾi piʾjanicu ʾi srebroljubecь za takvíva náĭ bole vesélime se ʺAnd for those, who hate other men, and for the drinker and the silver-lover, for such we are happy at most.ʺ
50: ʾi an͛dréĭ réče And Andrew said:
51: ʾáko ĭ se wtfrь´li wt vásь ʺAnd if someone renounces you,ʺ
koi e činilь vólju vašu ʺwho had done your will,ʺ
ʾi pravílь e źlo sásь váše povelenïe ʺand who had do evil with your command,ʺ
ʾi posle se pókae ʺand then who had repented,ʺ
kakvò trьpíte ʺwhat do you suffer (because of such one)?ʺ
52: diávolь réče The devil said:
53: koĭ se wbrьne: na pokajanïe ʾá mie sme bráikja mlógw ʾi dévetь puti go ʾwbídeme ʺ(If) anyone turns to repentance, we, (as) we are many brothers, go nine times around him.ʺ
54: ʾi paki stáne nášь ʺAnd he becomes ours again.ʺ
55: ʾwšte po bóle mu se rádvame ʺ(Then) we rejoice about him even more.ʺ
56: ʾi kol͛ko se čl̃véci wtfrь´gatь wt nasь ʾi ʾwtídatь pri bg̃a, ʾi páki se pósle povrь´natь ʺAnd even if people renounce us and go to God, they come back to us.ʺ
57: ʾi stánutь sa sve naši do kon͛[cь] ʺAnd they become ours until the end.ʺ
58: ʾi kogi si ʾprikaza díăvolь čudové te svoi ʾi st̃i ʾándréĭ duxnu na négo And when the devil explained all his miracles, St. Andrew breathed at him.
59: ʾi isčéze And he disappeared
60: ʾi wttide va béznu And he went into the abyss
