| 269: | i uzdu xapeše gorgo | And it was biting its reins bitterly. | 
| 270: | i gdinu svoemu samrъtъ pokazvaše | And it was showing death to its master. | 
| 271: | i frъli go na zemlju | And it threw him on the ground. | 
| 272: | i ne vide kakvo šteše da go rasipe konъ na zemlju | And he did not see, how the horse was going to break him on the ground. | 
| 273: | i kato go frъli konja na zemi ispade mu iz pazuxa prъstenъ i ključъ i kesia sasъ edna litra źlato | And as the horse threw him to the ground, a ring, and a key, and a purse with a pound of gold fell from his bosom. | 
| 274: | i paki vasedoša na koni svoi | And they mounted their horses again. | 
| 275: | idexu po putъ sasъ evreina | They went on the way with the Jew. | 
| 276: | a xrtianino jaduva | And the Christian was angry. |

| kogi go frъli konja na zemi | when the horse threw him to the ground. | |

| 288: | i uplaši se | And he became afraid. | 
| 289: | i reče pristavinu | And he said to the servant: | 
| 290: | što e tova | ʺWhat is this?ʺ | 
| 291: | a pristavinъ si reče | And the servant said: | 
| 292: | o gdne moi strašenъ edin mužъ na konja doide pri gdarъku moju | ʺO my lord, one terrible man on a horse came to my mistress.ʺ | 
| 293: | i dade i ključъ i prъstenъ | ʺAnd he gave her a key and a ring.ʺ | 
| 294: | i reče i | ʺAnd he said to her:ʺ | 
| 295: | skoro zaprati evreinu kovъčegъ da ne upadne u bedu mužъ tvoi | ʺSend the coffin to the Jew soon, so that your husband does not fall into misery!ʺ | 
| 296: | i mene tova dade gdrka moja da donesemъ tebe | ʺAnd my mistress gave this to me, so that I bring it to you.ʺ | 
| 297: | Evreinъ vide tova | The Jew saw it. | 
| 298: | udivi se | He wondered. | 
| 299: | i reče | And he said: | 
| 300: | fala bgu | ʺPraise (be) to God!ʺ |

| 302: | i zaradva se | And he was joyful. | 
| 303: | i vrъnaxu se sasъ xrtianina u crkvu stomu mine | And they returned to the church of St. Menas with the Christian. | 
| 304: | i pokloni se evreinъ do zemli | And the Jew bowed to the ground. | 
| 305: | i sakaše da se pokrti na veru xristianъsku po takovago radi čudesa | And he wanted to get baptized by the Christian faith because of such a miracle. | 
| 306: | zašto i samъ vide evreino kakva vera imatъ xrtiani xubava | Because the Jew himself saw what good faith the Christians have, | 
| i stci xrtianъski tvorat čudesa | and that the Christian saints do miracles. | |
| 307: | i evreino se pokrti vo ime dxa stago | And the Jew got baptized in the name of Holy Spirit. | 
| 308: | xrtianinъ moleše se stomu da mu oprosti što se e zaklelъ i što bexu bgu edinomu sogrešili | The Christian prayed to the saint for forgiveness for his oath and that they (sic) sinned against the One God. | 
| 309: | i sasъ pomoštъ stomu mine prijaxu proštenie | And with the help of St. Menas they (sic) received forgiveness. | 
| 310: | i otidoxu si va svoi domъ | And they went home. | 
| 311: | i slavexu bga i stago mčnika xrtova minu | And they glorified God and Menas, the holy martyr of Christ. |
