10:	ta pa imaše družina pri sebe bole ot tri desetъ duši	and he had a band of more than thirty people with him
11:	ta sasъ nixъ tolkova źlo praveše	and he did much evil with them
12:	ta pa se edno vreme smisli	and at some time he came to himself
13:	i reče	and he said:
14:	ox bže moi mili što sam ja tov źlo tolko pravilъ	ʺOh my dear Lord, why have I been doing so much evil?ʺ
15:	jako se uplaši ot bga	He became very scared of God
16:	i ostavi si družina ta u goru	and he left his band in the forest
17:	i otide na edinъ monastirъ	and he went to a monastery
18:	i potropa na vrata	and he knocked on the door
19:	i izleze vratarъ	and the doorman came out
20:	i reče mu	and he said to him:
21:	što tražišъ ti tuka junače	ʺWhat are you looking for here, young man?ʺ
22:	a dvdъ reče	And David said:
23:	kalugerъ sakamъ da stanemъ	ʺI want to become a monkʺ
