3: Нѡ́ꙗ бе́ше чл҃векь ѿ петь сто́тинь го́дини Noah was a five hundred years old man
4: ҆и роди трѝ сн҃ове си́ма and he gave birth to three sons: (first) Shem,
҆и дрꙋги си́нь него́вь хáмь and (then to) his second son, Ham,
҆и трети си́нь, ное́вь їафе́ть and (then to) Noahʹs third son, Japheth
5: когѝ поче́хꙋ да сѐ рáждать чл҃ве́ци мло́го нá земли when humans started to be born more on the Earth
҆и родїхꙋ се ҆имь ҆и си́нове ҆и дь́щери then they gave birth to sons and daughters
6: ҆и видохꙋ си́нове бжи́й дь́щери чл҃ве́чески and the sons of God saw the daughters of humans
7: ҆и реко́хꙋ and they said:
8: добре́ би било̀ да прїйдемо близꙋ ʺit would be good to come closerʺ
да ви́димо тиѧ̀ дь́щери чл҃ве́чески какви́ сꙋ ʺso that we can see those daughters of men, how they areʺ
9: ҆и прїйдохꙋ and they came closer
10: ҅и видо́хꙋ ги and they saw them
11: ҆и ре́кохꙋ and they said:
12: дѡбри́ сꙋ би́ли ʺthey were goodʺ
13: елáте да сѝ зе́меме по еднà ʺcome, let us take one for eachʺ
14: ҆и ꙋзе́хꙋ се́бе женѝ and they took (them for) wives
15: ҆и разьграбáхꙋ сви те дь́щери чл҃вечески що гѝ видохꙋ са͒ ҆о́ч҃и and they took all the daughters of men, whom they saw with (their) eyes
16: тоги́ва ре́че бг҃ь then God said:
17: не дáвамь дх҃а моего да седѝ ꙋ ти́ꙗ чв҃еци ʺI do not allow (ʺgiveʺ) my spirit to dwell among those peopleʺ
18: защо сꙋ ти́ѧ чл҃ве́ци пль́ть ѿ зе́млю ʺfor those humans are flesh of the earthʺ
19: ҆и щꙋть да бꙋдꙋть ҆ѡни жи́ви по сто́ ҆и двá десеть го́дини ʺand they will be alive for 120 yearsʺ
20: и хощꙋть да ҆ꙋмрꙋть ʺand they will dieʺ
21: ҆á дх҃ь мо́й смрьт не йма ʺbut my spirit has no deathʺ
22: ҆и като ꙋзе́хꙋ си́нове бж҃їи дьщерѝ чл҃вечески and as sons of God took the daughters of men
и нараждáхꙋ се мло́го then they multiplied a lot
23: ҆и ҆исполни́хꙋ се нá земли мло́го and they filled (ʺthemselves onʺ) the Earth (ʺa lotʺ)
24: ҆и почехꙋ да чи́нать зло крáжба кꙋр͛вар͛ство млого ҆и пи҆ꙗ́н͛ство ҆и ꙋбїиство and they began to do evil: theft, a lot of adultery, and drinking, and murder
25: ҅и видѐ бг҃ь че се́ ꙋмложи́хꙋ зло́бѝ чл҃ве́чески на земли and God saw that human evils multiplied on the Earth
26: ҆и поми́сли сась срдце своѐ на нехело and He thought with His heart about this malady
27: ҆и покаѧ се бг҃ь защо сотво́ри чл҃века нá землю and God repented that He created the human on the Earth
28: ҆и размисли and He thought through
29: ҆и ре́че and He said:
30: ҆áзь, хощꙋ потреби́ти чл҃века щото го̀ сотвори́хь ѿ зе́млю ʺI will destroy the human, whom I have created from the earthʺ
҆и доби́такь ҆и гади ди́ви ҆и птици нб͒ниа ʺand (with him) the cattle, and wild vermin, and heavenly birdsʺ
31: ҆и све́ дà потре́бимь ѿ земли ʺmay I vanquish everything from the Earthʺ
да не ҆има ни́що жи́во на ст҃ь ʺso that there is nothing alive in the worldʺ
32: защо сѐ покáѧхь че сотвори́хь чл҃века. † ʺbecause I repented, that I created a humanʺ
33: но́ꙗ бе́ше нáшль бл҃годáть ѿ гд͒а бг҃а Noah had found Lord Godʹs grace
34: Но́е бе́ше чл҃векь прáведень ҆и совершень Noah was a righteous and perfect man
35: ҆о́нь вь ро́де свое́мь ҆и бг҃ꙋ ꙋгодѝ нѡ́е he was pleasing God (also) with his kin
37: ҆и родѝ ноѐ трѝ си́ни си́ма ҆и хáма ҆и҆áфе́та and Noah gave birth to three sons: Shem, Ham and Japheth
38: ҆и ꙋпогáни се зем͛лꙗ̀ сась кꙋр͛вар͛ство and the land was defiled (ʺheathenedʺ) with adultery
39: ҆и станꙋ грозно ҆и не потре́бно пред бо́га and it became terrible and inappropriate before God
40: ҆исполни́ се землѧ̀ сась непрáвдꙋ the Earth was filled with injustice
41: ҆и виде бг҃ь зе́млю ꙋпогáненꙋ and God saw the Earth defiled
42: защо̀ се ꙋпогáни све́ка зверь ҆и свека гáдь ҆и свека пти́ца ҆и свеко що е го́дь подь нб҃са because each beast, and each vermin, and each bird, and everything under the heavens were defiled
43: ꙋпоганихꙋ пꙋть сво́й нá земли they defiled their way on the Earth
44: ҆и рече бг҃ь. and God said:
45: но́ѐ све́ки чл҃ве́кь хо́че да прїйде при ме́не ʺo Noah, every human will come to meʺ
46: защо се ҆исполни землꙗ с неправдꙋ ѿ ни́хь ʺbecause the Earth has been filled by the injustice from themʺ
47: ҆и ҆áзь хощꙋ погꙋбити ҆и ни́хь ʺand I will destroy themʺ
48: ҆и землю на ве́трь разве҆ꙗ́ щемь: що е билà под ни́хь ʺand I shall blow the soil, which was beneath them, into the windʺ
49: чꙋйте hear!
50: ҆и разꙋмейте хр͒тиàни and understand, o Christians!
51: рече бг҃ь но́ю God said to Noah:
52: сотворї ◄ ков͛чегь ѿ дрьво щото не гнїе ʺmake an ark from wood, which does not rotʺ
҆или ѿ кедрово дрьво ҆или ѿ четве́роугльно ʺeither from cedar or from square timber (?)ʺ
53: ҆и гнезда да напрáвишь ҆оꙋ́ ков͛чега ʺand create nests in the arkʺ
54: ҆и да засмо́лишь ков͛чего сáсь гле́џь ҆и ҆ѿ нꙋтра ҆и ѿ нáдворь ʺand cover the ark with glaze from inside and outsideʺ
55: ҆и да направишь ков͛чего три́ ста лактѝ дльготà ҆и пет десе́ть лáкти широтà ҆и три десет лакти висотà ʺand make the ark 300 elbows long, 50 elbows broad and 30 elbows highʺ
да сабе́ре све що смь аз намисли́ль ʺso that it takes everything, what I intendʺ
56: све сась мерꙋ да соврьшиш ковчего ʺmay you do all (of the) ark with measureʺ
57: ҆и на врьхь ков͛чегꙋ врата да напрáвишь ʺand may you make a door on the top of the arkʺ
58: ѿ странꙋ̀ ҆и по дно ковчегꙋ два ката три́ ката засмолѝ ʺfrom the sides to the bottom of the ark put twice-thrice tarʺ
59: ҆и азь хо́щꙋ да наведе́мь пото́пь во́дꙋ на землю ʺand I will bring a flood of water on the Earthʺ
да погꙋ́бимь свекꙋю пльт ꙋ кою пльть ҆има дх҃ь живово́тни, подь нб҃са ʺto kill all flesh, from all flesh having an animate spirit beneath the heavensʺ
60: ҆и све що йма на земли, да се доврьшꙋть ʺand everything on the Earth will be finishedʺ
61: ҆и ѡставꙗмь, тебе запове́дь мо́й да вле́знешь ꙋ ков͛чегь ʺand I give you a command, to enter the arkʺ
тѝ ҆и си́нове твоѝ ҆и жена твоѧ̀ ҆и жени́ те на си́нове те твой: при те́бе ʺyou, and your sons, and your wife, and wives of your sons with youʺ
҆и ѿ све́ки дѡ́би́ткь ҆и ѿ свеки ѕве́рие ҆и ѿ свекꙋ пль́ть по две по две ʺand two from each cattle and each beast and each fleshʺ
62: ҆и ѿ све да ꙋведе́шь ꙋ ковчегь ʺand may you bring them all into the arkʺ
63: да гѝ хрáнишь сась се́бе све, ʺand may you all feed them, together with yourselfʺ
64: да бꙋ́дꙋть ҆едно̀ мꙋшко дрꙋ́го жен͛ско ʺmay there is one male (and) one femaleʺ
҆и ѿ све́ки пти́ци по ро́дꙋ ʺand from each bird by (its) sortʺ
҆и ѿ свеко доби́че по родꙋ ʺand from each cattle by (its) sortʺ
҆и ѿ свеки гáдовь що, прехо́дꙋть зе́млю по ро́дꙋ ʺand from each vermin, which goes on the earth, by (its) sortʺ
҆и ѿ нихь по две по двѐ ʺand from (each of) them twoʺ
65: ѿ све да вле́знꙋть прї те́бе ꙋ ко́вчегь ʺfrom each, may they enter the ark to youʺ
66: да гѝ хрáнишь ти ʺmay you feed themʺ
67: све да бꙋдꙋт мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско ʺmay each of them is male and femaleʺ
68: ҆и тѝ нѡѐ да си приго́твишь ѿ све́кꙋ ро́жбꙋ за ҆ꙗ́дене ʺand you, Noah, may you prepare food from each fruitʺ
69: товà що тѝ заповедꙋемь да сабе́решь свѐ да тѝ бꙋде готово за ҆ꙗ́дене ʺall what I command you, may you collect it all, so that it is prepared for foodʺ
70: ҆и сотворѝ ное све що мꙋ̀ заповеда гд͒ь бг҃ь and Noah did all, what Lord God commanded him
71: тáко сотворѝ .:.. .:.. .:.. .:. thus he did
72: Ре́че гд͒ь ною̀ the Lord said to Noah:
73: ꙋлезнѝ тѝ ҆и весь домъ тво́й ꙋ ко́вчегь ʺyou and all of your house, enter the arkʺ
74: защо те́бе ви́дехь чл҃кь прáведень ꙋ ро́да твоего ʺbecause I found you (to be a) righteous man among your kinʺ
75: ꙋведи ѿ чи́сти доби́ткь при се́бе се́дмь ҆и се́дмь мꙋжеско ҆и жен͛ско ʺbring seven males and seven females of pure cattle to youʺ
҆и ѿ дрꙋгѝ скоти не чи́сти по две по двѐ ʺand a pair from the other, unpure cattleʺ
76: не чи́сти ско́ти зовꙋт се ко́ни horses are considered ʺunpure cattleʺ
77: ҆и ѿ них мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско ʺand (bring) from them a male and a femaleʺ
78: ҆и ѿ пти́ци нб͒їѧ питовни, се́дмь ҆и седмь мꙋжеско ҆и жен͛ско and from the tame birds of the sky (he brought) seven males and seven females
79: ҆и ѿ сви пти́ци ди́виа по две́ по двѐ мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско and from the wild birds (he brought) a pair, a male and a female
да сѐ задрьжѝ се́ме ѿ свѐки гáдь so that the seed of each vermin would survive
да сѐ напло́ди по свꙋ землю and to fill the whole Earth (again)
80: ҆и рече гд͒ь бг҃ь and Lord God said:
81: знáй но́е ʺknow, o Noahʺ
82: еще до се́дмь днѝ ҆áзь хощꙋ да наведе́мь дьж ► на землю чети́ри де́сеть дни ҆и четирї десеть но́щи ʺin seven days, I will bring a rain to the Earth for forty days and forty nightsʺ
83: ҆и щемь да потре́бимь свеко востáнїе що го смь направиль ѿ зе́млю ʺand I will destroy every lifeform, which I have created from the earthʺ
ѿ чл҃ве́ка до скѡ́та ʺfrom man to cattleʺ
84: ҆и сотвори ноѐ свѐ що мꙋ заповедà гд͒ь бг҃ь and Noah did, what Lord God commanded him
85: Ное поживе Noah lived
86: ҆и дости́гнꙋ шесь стотїн го́дини and he reached six hundred years (of age)
87: ҆и пꙋщи бг҃ь пото́пь во́дни нá земли and God sent the flood of water on the Earth
88: ꙋлезе нѡ́е ҆и синове него́ви ҆и жена него́ва ҆и женї те на синове те него́ви сáсь ни́хь ꙋ ков͛чегь Noah entered the ark, and his sons, and his wife, and the wives of his sons with them
89: ꙋбо҆ꙗ́хꙋ се ѿ потопь во́дни they feared the flood of water
90: ҆и влезохꙋ ѿ пти́ци пи́товниа ҆и ѿ пти́ци ди́виа ҆и ѿ скоти чи́стиа ҆и ѿ скти не чистїа and a pair of (every) tame bird entered, and of the wild bird, and of pure cattle, and of unpure cattle
҆и ѿ ѕве́рие дивие що ҆ѡбихо́дꙋть зе́млю ҆и ѿ свекꙋ гáдь по две по две. and of (every) wild beast walking on the Earth, and of (every kind of) vermin
91: мꙋжеско ҆и жен͛ско ꙋлезнахꙋ ꙋ ковчего при нѡ́ю какво бе́ше заповедаль бг҃ь male and female, (all) entered the ark to Noah, as it had been commanded by God
92: И бе́ше ꙋ ше͒ стотнꙋю годи́нꙋ ꙋ животь но́евь вь два нá десети мц͒ь на краи го́динꙋ and it was the 600th year of Noahʹs life, in the 12th month, at the end of the year
93: вь еди́нь де́нь ѿтвори́хꙋ се сви ҆исто́чницї щото дно не мають one day, all the bottomless sources opened
94: ҆и езе́ре нб͒нїѧ ѿтвори́хꙋ се and the heavenly lakes opened
95: ҆и беше дьж стрáшень на земли and there was a terrible rain on the Earth
96: ҆и вале четири десет дни́ ҆и четири десеть но́щи and it poured for 40 days and 40 nights
97: ҆и вь тоѧ̀ де́нь вле́зе нѡ́е ї симь ҆и хáмь ҆и афе́ть синови ноеви ҆и жена ноева and on that day Noah entered the ark, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, sons of Noah, and the wife of Noah
98: ҆и три жени сино́вни мꙋ вле́зохꙋ ꙋ ков͛чегь and the three wives of his sons entered the ark
99: ҆и сви́ ѕверїе по ро́дꙋ ҆и свѝ ско́ти по ро́дꙋ ҆и свеки гáдь по ро́дꙋ and all the beasts by kind, and all cattle by kind, and every vermin by kind
҆и све́каѧ пти́ца перьната по ро́дꙋ влезохꙋ при нѡю̀ ꙋ ковчегь по двѐ по двѐ мꙋ́жеско ҆и жен͛ско and each feathery bird by kind, they entered the ark to Noah by pairs, a male and a female
каквото бе́ше заповедаль б҃ь ною as God had commanded Noah
100: ҆и затвори бг҃ь ѿ надво́рь ковчег and God closed the ark from the outside
101: ҆и засмоли́ го сáсь асфáлтомь and He smeared it with tar
102: ҆и беше стрáхота вели́ка вода пото́пь and there was a great fear (of) waters of the flood
103: четїри десеть днѝ ҆и четири десеть но́щи вале [дьж] the rain fell for forty days and forty nights
104: ї ҆ꙗ́ко ꙋмножи́ се водà and the water became many
105: ҆и ꙋзе водà кѡвчега and the water took the ark
106: ҆и дигна го ѿ земли and it took (the ark) from the ground
107: ҆и ѡбл҆ꙗ̀ вода and the water poured
108: ҆и дрьжа мло́го на земли and a lot of it was held on the earth
109: ҆и возеше се. ковчегь по врьхꙋ во́ди and the ark drove on the surface of water
110: ҆и вода се разьни́ша ҆ꙗ́ко мло́го мло́го на земли and water spread a very lot on the Earth
111: ҆и покри свѝ гори висо́киа щото̀ бе́хꙋ по́дь нб͒а and it covered all the high mountains beneath the heavens
112: петь нá десеть лакти ҆излезе вода висо́ко нади го́рꙋ the water rose up to fifteen yards above the mountain
113: ҆и прел҆ꙗ́ водà сви го́ри висо́киѧ and the water poured over all high mountains
114: ҆и ꙋмре свекаѧ пльть що бе́ше жи́во по земли пти́ци ҆и скоти ҆и ѕве́ри and all the flesh alive on the Earth died - birds and cattle and wild beasts alike
115: ҆и свеки гáдь що е жи́во на земли and all the vermin which lives on the Earth
҆и сваки чл҃векь ҆и свеко дихáнїе що годь бе́ше жи́во на сꙋхо потопи се and every human, and every breathing (creature) living on the dry land drowned
116: ҆и ꙋмре and they died
117: ҆и потре́би се свекое востанїе щото беше жи́во на землѝ and all the living creatures on the Earth perished
118: ҆á нѡе ҆ѡ́станꙋ жи́вь but Noah remained alive
119: ҆и щото бехꙋ скоти ҆и ѕверие ҆и гадове ҆и пти́ци ꙋ ковче́го засмо́лени and all the cattle and beasts and vermin and birds in the tarred ark
и ѡни ҆ѡстанꙋхꙋ жи́ви they remained alive
120: ҆и стоꙗ̀ водà на земли, сто ҆и пет десеть днѝ and water stood on the Earth for 150 days
121: ҆и по́менꙋ бг҃ь нѡю̀ ҆и сви́ ѕве́рие ҆и сви ско́ти ҆и сви гàди ҆и свѝ пти́ци and God remembered Noah and all the beasts and all the cattle and all the vermin
҆и све що бе́ше сáсь нихь ꙋ ковче́га and everything, what was with him together in the ark
122: ҆и наве́де бг҃ь дх҃ь ҆и ветрь на землю and God brought a spirit and wind on the Earth
123: ҆и престанꙋ водà and the water ceased (to spread/fall)
124: ҆и затворихꙋ се ҆источници бе́здни ҆и езере нб͒нїѧ and the bottomless sources and heavenly lakes closed
125: ҆и престанꙋ дождь ѿ нб͒а and the rain from the heavens stopped
126: ҆и поче вода да се кри́е вь землю and the water started to hide itself in the ground
127: ҆и ꙋмáлꙗше се водà после по сто ҆и пе десе́ть днѝ and the water became less for 150 days
128: седе ковчегь Се́дмь мц͒и на горꙋ ҆áрарат͛скꙋю the ark stood on the Mt. Ararat for seven months
129: ҆и вода се ꙋмáлꙗше and water was becoming less
130: ҆и вь еди́но нá десети .:. мц͒ь ҆ꙗ́ви́хꙋ се врьхове го́ри and in the eleventh month, the summits of mountains appeared
131: ҆и прови́дохꙋ се дрьвꙗ ѕеле́нїи and green trees could be seen
132: ҆и по четири десет дни ѿтвори нѡѐ ѿ крáй ков͛чега що беше го напрáвиль and after 40 days, Noah opened the end of the ark, which he had built
133: ҆и изведе врáнꙋ ҆изь ко́вчегь and he brought out a crow from the ark
134: ҆и запрáти ю да види далѝ прес͛хнꙋ водà and he sent the crow, to see, whether the water dried up
135: ҆излезе врáна the crow went out
136: ҆и ѡтиде and it went away
137: ҆и не врьнꙋ се догдѐ прес͛хнꙋ водà ѿ зе́мли and it did not return until the water dried up
138: ҆и по врáнꙋ запрáти ное голꙋби́цꙋ по ню да ви́ди дали ѿстꙋпи водà ѿ зе́млю ҆или не and after the crow, Noah sent a dove, to see whether the water was diminishing from the ground or not
139: пойде голꙋби́ца the dove went
140: ҆и не може дá йде and it could not go
141: защо ҆имаше ҆ѡще млого вода на земли because there was a lot of water on the ground yet
142: ҆и врьнꙋ се пáки при ною and it returned to Noah
143: ҆и ҆онь прꙋжи рꙋкꙋ свою and he stretched his hand
144: ҆и ꙋзе ю and he took (the dove)
145: ҆и внесе ю при се́бе ꙋ ковчегь and he brought it to himself into the ark
146: ҆и почека ҆ѡще сед͛мь днї and he waiter for another seven days
147: ҆и паки запрати голꙋби́цꙋ ҆изь ковчега and he sent the dove from the ark again
148: ҆и ѡнà ходѝ and it went
149: ҆и врь́нꙋ се при ною̀ ѿ вечерь and it came back to Noah in the evening
150: ҆и но́сеше ꙋ ҆ꙋста клон͛чець ҆и лиске зеле́но ѿ масле́но дрь́во and it was carrying in its beak (ʺmouthʺ) a branch and green leaves from an olive tree
151: ҆и виде товà ное and Noah saw it
152: ҆и разꙋме че е пресь́хла водà ѿ земли and he understood, that water dried up on the ground
153: ҆и почека ҆оте дрꙋги седмь дни́ and he waited for another seven days
154: пакѝ запрати голꙋбицꙋ he sent the dove again
155: ҆и ҆ѡтиде голꙋбица тамо до́ле and the dove went down there
156: ҆и не врьнꙋ се вече прї ною̀ and it did not return again to Noah
157: ҆и беше прес͛хнꙋ́ла водà (as) water had dried up
158: ҆и ѿкри. ное покро́вь ѿ ков͛чега and Noah opened the roof of the ark
159: ҆и ѿтвори ковчегь and he opened the ark
160: ҆и рече бг҃ь and God said:
161: ное ҆излезнѝ ти из ковчега ҆и женà твоѧ̀ ҆и синове тво́й ҆и женї те на си́нове те тво́й сась те́бе ʺo Noah, go out from the ark, with your wife, and your sons, and wives of your sonsʺ
162: ҆и сви те ѕве́рие що сꙋ били при те́бе ʺand all the beasts, which were with youʺ
҆и сви те пти́ци ҆и скотове ҆и гадове изведѝ сась тебѐ ʺand all the birds and cattle and vermin, lead (them) out with youʺ
163: ҆и расти́те се ʺand growʺ
164: ҆и ꙋмножи́те се нá земли ʺand multiply on the Earthʺ
165: ҅и їзлезе ное ҆и жена. него́ва ҆и синове негови ҆и жени те на синове те него́ви and Noah and his wife and his sons and wives of his sons went out
166: ҆и сви скоти ҆и ѕверие ҆и гади ҆и пти́ци све ҆излезохꙋ из ков͛чегь and all the cattle and beasts and vermin and birds, all went out of the ark
167: ҆и разнесохꙋ се по земли and they spread across the Earth
свека: ско́ть по две жен͛ско ҆и мꙋшко each cattle, by pair, female and male
҆и свека ѕверь мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско and each beast, male and female
҆и свека гадь мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско and each vermin, male and female
҆и свека пти́ца мꙋшко ҆и жен͛ско по родꙋ and each bird, male and female, by the species
168: ҆и почехꙋ да се рáстать ҆и да се ꙋмножꙋть and they began to grow and multiply
169: ви́дите ли какво̀ бг҃ь щеꙗ да подно́ви дрꙋги ве́кь do you see, how God wanted to renew (the Earth for) another age?
170: прьви векь потопи He drowned the first age
171: ҆á после́дни нáсь породѝ and the last (age) gave birth to us
172: ҆и по товà нáправї ное мл҃твꙋ бг҃ꙋ and afterwards Noah made a prayer to God
173: ҆и прине́се ѿ питовнї добиткь and he brought (a sacrifice) from the tame cattle
174: ҆и закла ҆и ѿ питовни пти́ци, and he slaughtered (a pair) from tame birds
175: принесе and he brought (the sacrifice)
176: ҆и бл҃гослови го бг҃ь and God blessed him
177: ҆и нарече, нась да слꙋжи́мо ст҃ие прáзници and He told us to honor the holy feasts
178: ҆и Бл҃гослови бг҃ь ною̀ ҆и синове него́ви and God blessed Noah and his sons
179: ҆и рече and He said:
180: ҆исполните землю ʺfill the Earthʺ
181: ҆и да господь-ствꙋете ҆ей ʺand may you subdue itʺ
182: ҆и да се бою́ть ѿ вась свї ѕве́рие земльни ҆и сви птици нб͒ниѧ ҆и свѝ ри́би мор͛скиѧ ʺand may all the beasts of land, and all the birds of heaven, and all the fish of the sea fear youʺ
183: вáмь подь рꙋкꙋ дадохь ҆и све що е жи́во нá земли да бꙋдеть вамь за ҆ꙗ́дене ʺI gave you all, what is alive on the Earth to eatʺ
184: ҆и трави. ѕлáчниѧ да бꙋдꙋть вáмь бл҃ги кáто ѕе́лїе ʺand may the grass of meadows be good like cabbage to youʺ
185: све́ки злáкь да бꙋдеть вамь ҆ꙋго́день ʺmay each plant will be good for youʺ
186: ҆и месо заколете питовно ʺand slaughter tame fleshʺ (?)
187: ҆и ꙗще ʺand eatʺ
188: ҆и свекꙋ крьвь що проливате ви́ѧ ҆из рꙋки вáши сáкамь ҆азь ʺand I want all the blood you spill by your handʺ
189: таков † such a command was given to us by the merciful God
[зри] зáповедь ҆ѡстави нáмь мл͒ти́ви бг҃ь [sidenote] look!
190: ҆и рече and He said:
191: си́не чꙋваите закони ҆о́ц҃а вàшего ʺson(s?), hold on to the laws of your fatherʺ
192: ҆и не ѿринете наказанїе мт҃ри вашеи ʺand do not shove away the punishment by your motherʺ
193: си́не мꙋдрь бꙋди да мꙋ́дри послꙋшáют те́бе ʺo son, be wise, so that the wise listen to youʺ
194: паки ре́че гд͒ь the Lord said again:
195: сине послꙋшаите мене ʺo son, listen to meʺ
196: ҆и бл҃жень да бꙋдет кои пꙋть мо́й зачꙋва ʺand may the one who holds to my way be blessedʺ
197: синь праведень раждáет се вь животь ʺa righteous is born into life (?)ʺ
198: ҆изгнанїе не чести́ваго вь смер͛ть .:.. .:. ʺexpulsion of the dishonorable in death (?)ʺ
199: Рече гд͒ь the Lord said to Noah:
200: ноѐ дꙋгꙋ мою̀ на ҆о́блаце полагáю ʺo Noah, I put my rainbow on the cloudʺ
201: ҆и щѐ да бꙋде знáменїе ʺand there will be a signʺ
202: когѝ сведе́мь ҆ѡ́блáкь на зе́млю щем да ҆ꙗ́вимь дꙋгꙋ мою̀ на ҅ѡ́блаци ʺwhen I put a cloud on Eath, I will show my rainbow on itʺ
203: ҆и да види́те ʺand may you seeʺ
204: ҆и да вер͛вате ʺand may you believeʺ
205: ҆и да поменете заве́ть мо́й вечни ʺand may you remember my eternal covenantʺ
206: ҆и да знáете защо не щѐ да йма дрꙋги потопь до века ʺand may you know, that there will be no other flood foreverʺ
207: Три́ синове ное ҆имаше си́мь ҆и хамь ҆и афе́ѳь Noah had three sons: Shem, Ham and Japhet
208: ҆и ѿ ни́хь тро́ица разьсе҆ꙗ́хꙋ се по свꙋ̀ зе́млю from those three, (people) sow themselves around the whole world
209: ҆и поче нѡе да рáботи зе́млю and Noah started to work on the ground
210: ҆и насáди ло́зие and he planted a vineyard
211: ҆и ро́ди мꙋ ло́зие то and the vineyard gave fruit
212: ҆и пїи ви́но and he drank wine
213: ҆и ҆ѡпи́ се and he got drunk
214: ҆и трькáлꙗше се ꙋ домь сво́й пи҆ꙗ́нь and he went stumbling about drunk in his house
215: ҆и виде хáмь какво се трькáлꙗше ҆оць мꙋ and Ham saw his father stumbling around
216: ҆о́нь прїйде he came
217: ҆и ѿго́ли ҆о́ц҃а своего̀ and he took off the clothes from his father
218: ҆и ѡстáви го за срáмь and he left him for shame
219: ҅и їзлезе
220: ҆и казà на ҆ѡ́ни́҆ꙗ́. два брáта сво́й and he said to his two brother
221: ҆и ꙋзе си́мь ҆и афе́тъ чер͛гꙋ and Shem and Japhet took a blanket
222: ҆и покри́хꙋ срáмь ҆и голотꙋ ҆оц҃ꙋ свое́мꙋ and they covered the shame and nakedness of their father
223: ҆и їстрезви се ноѐ ѿ ви́но and Noah became sober from the wine
224: ҆и ви́де какво́ мꙋ направѝ сре́дни си́нь срáмотꙋ and he saw, what shame was done to him by his middle son
225: ҆и ре́че но́е синꙋ свое́мꙋ хамꙋ and Noah said to his son Ham:
226: прокле́ть да бꙋ́де хáмь ʺmay Ham be accursed!ʺ
227: отрок ҆и ро́бь да бꙋ́де на брайк҆ꙗ́ сво́й ʺmay he be a slave and servant of his brothersʺ
228: ҆а сима ҆и афеѳа бл҃гослови and he blessed Shem and Japhet
229: ҆и рече and he said:
230: бл҃гослове́нь гд͒ь бг҃ь си́мовь ʺblessed be the Lord, God of Shemʺ
231: и да бꙋде хáмь заврь́зань ʺand may Ham be shackledʺ
232: ҆и бг҃ь да распро́страни́ть ҆иафе́та ʺand may God spreads (the seed of) Japhetʺ
233: ҆и да гѝ дарꙋеть ʺand may He give them giftsʺ
234: ҆и хамь да ймь бꙋде ро́бь до века ʺand may Ham be their servant foreverʺ
235: ҆и поживѐ нѡ́е по пото́па три́ ста и пет десе́ть го́дини and Noah lived for 350 years after the flood
236: ҆и бихꙋ свѝ дни́ ноеви де́веть сто́тинь ҆и пет десеть години and all the days of Noah were (counted to) 950 years
237: ҆и ꙋмре and he died
238: ҆им же паметь тво́римь and we do remembrance of them
239: бг҃ꙋ же нашемꙋ слáва ҆и чт͒ь ҆и поклоненїе and glory be to our God, and honor and respect
҆о́ц҃ꙋ ҆и си́нꙋ ҆и ст҃омꙋ дх҃ꙋ to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit
ни́нѣ ҆и при́сно ҆и во ве́ки всегдà веко́вь now and ever, and forever
240: ҆áми́нь:. amen
241: Си́ѧ коле́на сꙋть ѿ си́нове нѡ́еви ◄ these are the descendants of the sons of Noah
242: по ҆ꙗзикь ни́хань разсе҆ꙗ́хꙋ се ҆ꙗ́зи́ци по свꙋ зе́млю according to their nation, all nations spread around the world (?)
243: по пото́па бе́ше све ҆ꙗ́зи́кь ҆еди́нь ҆и глáсь ҆еди́нь after the flood, all (people) were of one language and one voice
244: ҆и коги станꙋхꙋ ѿ ҆истокь ҆и наидохꙋ по́ле вь землю с҆инáрскꙋю and when they stood up from the East, they found the field of Shinar
245: ҆и населихꙋ се тáмо and they settled there
246: ҆и рече гд͒ь and the Lord said:
247: се родь ҆еди́нь ҆и ҆ꙗ́зикь еди́нь ʺbehold, one nation and one languageʺ
248: прїйдете да разме́шаме ҆ꙗ́зи́ци да не разꙋмеваме ҆еди́нь дрꙋгомꙋ кои какво̀ гово́рить ʺcome, let us mix up the languages, so that they donʹt understand each other, what they sayʺ
҆и да разде́лимо се́ме ҆и пле́мена наши ʺmay us separate the seed and our tribesʺ
249: затова се наре́че то́ва ме́сто размеше́нїе because of that the place is called ʺmixingʺ
250: защо тамо рáзме́ша гд͒ь ҆ꙗ́зи́ци те све́ки дрꙋ́гакь да гово́рит because he Lord mixed all the languages, so that everyone speaks differently:
едни́ грьчки дрꙋги френ͛ски трети нем͛ски четверти влáшки (so that) one (speaks) Greek, another - French, a third - German, a fourth - Wallachian
251: ҆и свекѝ ҆ꙗ́зикь комꙋ какво раздели: бг҃ь тако да гово́рить and may they speak each language, as alloted by God (?)
252: ѿ тоги́ва дáже ҆и до дне́шни ҆и до после́дни де́нь тако говорꙋть since then until even today and the last days they speak so
253: тако́й мл͒тиви бг҃ь сотворѝ thus it was done by the merciful God
254: такой ҆и ст҃и преподобни ҆о́ци ꙋтвердихꙋ thus it was settled by the holy reverend fathers
҆ꙗ́же ѿ ҆адáма ҆и до дне́сь which (are) from Adam until today (?)
255: ви́дите лї ѿ кꙋдѐ ҆ѡстанꙋ бл҃гослове́нїе can you see, from where are left blessings
ѿ кꙋде́ ли ҆ѡстанꙋ проклетїѧ from where are left curses
256: сáмь гд͒ь прокле кайна си́на ҆áдамо́ва the Lord Himself accursed Cain, the son of Adam
257: ҆и ное проклѐ своѐго си́на хама and Noah accursed Ham, his son
258: ҆и ҆исáкь дáде си́нꙋ сво́ѐмꙋ проклетїю сась прелще́нїе and Isaac gave a curse to his son with deceit
259: тако̀ ҆ѡстáнꙋ голема врáжда ҆и зави́сть ҆и ненавис междꙋ на͒ thus remained a big enmity and jealousy and hate between us
260: защо̀ тáко ҆изли́хꙋ пре́оц҃и нáши because thus it was done (ʺpouredʺ) by our forefathers
