4: ʾi prьvo nb̃o ʾwd͛ždì bg̃ь and God first put the rain to the Heavens

17: ʾi vidóxa go ʾjáko xubavo na róžbu and they saw it (to be) very beautiful by the fruit
18: ʾi drьvó to rastéše u srédь rajà and the tree grew in the middle of the Paradise
19: ʾi wt tovà drь´vo šte da se poznae ʾi zlo ʾi dobrò and from that tree the good and evil could be known
20: rekà ʾizlazi ʾizь ʾedéma a river flew out of Eden

32: i uze gd͒ь bg̃ь ʾádama and Lord God took Adam
33: ʾi pušti go u ráĭ da rabóti ʾi da gò čuva and He left him in the Paradise to work there and care for it
34: ʾi zapovedà gd͒ь bg̃ь ʾadamu and Lord God commanded Adam:
35: wt svéko drь´vo berì ʾi ʾjašь ʺtake and eat from each treeʺ
36: ʾa wt tovà drь´vo štotò razuméva ʾi zlo ʾi dobrò ne uzímaite wt négo ʺbut from that tree, which makes you understand evil and good, do not take from itʺ
37: ʾákw ʾuzmete wt négo umírate ʺif you take from it, you dieʺ
38: ʾi reče gd͒ь bg̃ь and Lord God said:
39: ne è dobrè čl͂veku ʾedínomu na zémlju ʺit is not for a human (to be) single in the worldʺ

42: bg̃ь svéko wt zémlju sozdáde God created everything from the earth
43: ʾi privéde gi pri ʾádama da vidi b̃ь kakvó šte da gì narečè ʾádámь and He brought them to Adam to see, how will Adam call them
44: ʾi svéko naréče na ʾime and he gave everything a name
45: na edno réče govédo to one he said: a cow
46: na drugo ʾwv͛ca to another: a sheep
47: ʾi na dìvi źverove na edno nareče ʾime vlьkь and to wild beasts, to one he gave the name: a wolf
48: na drúgo lisíca to another: a fox
49: na pernáti ptici na ʾedno réče na ĭme ʾwrélь to feathery birds, to one he gave the name: an eagle
50: a na drugo golubь and to another: a pidgeon
51: ʾi na sveko dixanïe rázdeli ʾime baškà baška and thus he put a name to each creature (ʺbreathing thingʺ) one by one
52: ʾi gd͒ь mu réče and the Lord said to him:
53: síne zakónь .:. móĭ ne zabovarì ʺo son, do not forget about my lawʺ
54: ʾi dúmi te moĭ da príemne tvoè srdce ʺand may your heart accepts my wordsʺ
55: ʾi naréče ʾadámь ʾimena na sví skóti ʾi na sví ptíci i na sví zvérie and Adam gave names to all the cattle, and all the birds, and all the beasts
56: ʾi adamu ne možè da sè naĭde pomoštьnikь, kakvó e nému podóbno and an appropriate helper could not be found for Adam
57: ʾi dade gd͒ь bg̃ь sьnь ʾádámu and the Lord God gave slumber to Adam

59: ʾi uze mu wt lévu stránu ʾedno rebro and (God) took a rib from his left side
60: ʾi nápravi mu wt rebró to ženu and He created a woman from the rib

64: i naríča se ženà wt mušku snágu uzeta ʺand her name is woman taken from a male bodyʺ
65: ʾi zaradì ženù ʾwstávja čl̃vékь ʾóc͂a svoégo ʾi mt̃rь ʺfor woman a man leaves his father and his motherʺ
66: ʾi béga da se prilépi pri ženù svojù ʾi da stánutь dvá ta ʾedínь ʺand he runs to attach himself to his wife and the two to become oneʺ

73: wt drьvʾjà raĭski ʾi wt rož͛bu štéme da edémo ʺwe will eat from all the trees in the Paradise and (its) fruitʺ
74: ʾá wt tovà drьvo štotò raste na srédь raʾja ʺbut (only) from the tree in the middle of the Paradiseʺ
réče. bg̃ь da ne ʾedeme wt nego ni da míneme po krai négo ʺGod said, not to eat from it, nor to pass around itʺ

75: ʾi réče źmïa ʾevi and the snake said to Eve:

80: stopánïne čuéš li kakvò duma krása źmià ʺo husband, do you hear what the snake says?ʺ
81: zašto kogì pušti bg̃ь násь dvamína da xódimo nízь raę ʺbecause, when God let the two of us to go around the Paradiseʺ
ʾa ʾónь se doséti če kol͛ko ʾedeme nïe wt tovà drь´vo rázumno ʾá ono štutь da ni sè wtvrьzutь ʾwči náši ʺHe understood, that if we eat from the wise tree, our eyes will openʺ

83: zaradì tova nì zápre da nè ʾjá-démo wt tovà drь´vo ʺthat is why He forbade us to eat from that treeʺ

87: ʾi víde ʾeva ženà dobrò drь´vo na róžbu and Eve saw (that) the tree (is) good for its fruit
ʾi ʾjáko ugódno da gò glédašь sasь ʾwči and pleasant for looking upon with eyes

89: ʾi pomísli ʾeva and Eve thought:

91: vídite li kolíko se zove ženà bezьúmna can you see, how much mindless the woman is called?
92: b̃ь sozdáde njù wt zemlju God created her from the soil
93: ʾá wna se nadaše wt bg̃a da stáne po goléma and she hoped to become greater than God
94: ʾi uze wt ʾónovà drь´vo and she took from the tree
95: ʾi ʾjáde and she ate
96: ʾi dade ʾádámu múžu svoʾemu and she gave to her husband Adam

99: ʾi razumexu če su bili golì and they understood, that they have been naked
100: ʾi vidóxu se sámi sébe če su za srámь bíli and they saw each other, that they have been for shame
101: ʾi sьšíxu lístove wt smokíne and they stitched fig leaves together
102: ʾi napravíxu si prepojasánïe and created skirts out of them
103: ʾi prèvrьzáxu si srámь and covered (ʺboundʺ) their shame
104: ʾi po ne-koi čásь doĭde bg̃ь and after some time God came
105: ʾi poĭde nizь raę u pládne and He went into the Paradise at noon
106: ʾi čuxu glásь bž̃ïi ʾkato xódeše and they heard the voice of God as He went about
107: ʾi skríxu se u srédь rája .:. wt lica bž̃ia and they hid themselves in the middle of the Paradise from the face of God
108: i prïzovà bg̃ь ʾádáma and God called Adam
109: ʾi reče mu and He said to him:
110: ʾádame gdè ʾesì ʺAdam, where are you?ʺ
111: ʾi ʾadámь réče and Adam said:
112: gd͒i glásь tvóĭ uslišáxь kato xódeše po raʾjá ʺo Lord, I heard your voice as you went around the Paradiseʺ
113: ʾi ubojax͛ se ʺand I became afraidʺ
114: če smь gólь ʺbecause I am nakedʺ
115: ʾi sàkríx se wt sramь ʺand I hid myself out of shameʺ
116: ʾi réče ʾému bg̃ь and God said to him:
117: ʾádame kóĭ tebe kaza če sì gólь ʺwho told you, Adam, that you are naked?ʺ
118: ʾádamь xódeše po raĭ (for) Adam walked in the Paradise
119: ʾi ne móžeše da se séti če xódi gólь za, sramь and he could not find out, that he walked naked for shame
120: no za tovà ʾimь béše zapovedalь bg̃ь da ne ʾjádutь wt tovà drь´vo razumno but that was why God had commanded them not to eat from that wise tree
121: ʾi ʾwni prestupíxu zapóvedь bž̃ïĭ and they transgressed the command of God
122: i ʾjadoxu and they ate
123: páki bg̃ь réče God said again:
124: ʾádame ne lì ʾázь tébe zapovedáxь da nè ʾjádešь wt toʾjá plodь ʺdid I not command you, Adam, not to eat from that fruit?ʺ
125: zašto sì ʾjálь ʺwhy did you eat?ʺ
126: ʾi réče ʾádamь and Adam said:
127: ženà moʾjá što sí mi ju ti dálь ʾw´na mi dáde wt tóĭ drь´vo róžbu ʺmy woman, whom you did give me, she gave me the fruit of that treeʺ
128: ʾi ʾjadoxь ʺand I ateʺ
129: ʾi bg̃u ʾjáko zle doĭde and it was badly taken by God
130: ʾí reče ʾevi and He said to Eve:
131: žéno što sì tovà sotvoríla ʺwhy have you done it, woman?ʺ
132: ʾi eva réče and Eve said:
133: zmïa prelьstí me ʺthe snake seduced meʺ
134: ʾi ʾjadoxь ʺand I ateʺ

136: zmíw prokléta tí da búdešь wt svï gadóve zémlni ʺo snake, may you be accursed among the all vermin of the earthʺ
137: ʾi tri kleta da budešь wt svì źvérove pol͛ski ʺand may you be thrice accursed among all the field animalsʺ
138: ʾi zavrьzana da búdešь wt svi ptíci nb͒nia ʺand may you be bound (?) from all the heavenly birdsʺ
ʾi wt svè što e žívo na zémlju ʺand from everything, what lives on the Earthʺ
139: ʾi da se vlačiš kato čirévo pó zemlju ʺand may you crawl on the ground like a wormʺ
140: ʾi zemlju da edeš dogdé si žíva ʺand may you eat the ground as long as you are aliveʺ
141: ʾi vražda da búde meždu tébe zmïw ʾi meždu tebe žéno ʺand may there be hatred between you, snake, and you, womanʺ
142: ʾi meždu semenemь tvoĭmь źmíw ʾi meždu sémenemь tvoĭmь žéno ʺ(and may there be hatred) between your seed, snake, and your seed, womanʺ
143: ʾá wt dnesь do veka ʾevíni čéda da zbljúštutь źmíw tvojù glávu ʺand from today, may the children of Eve look after your head (to crush it)ʺ

147: žéno bézьʾumna razumeĭ da ti prodúmamь ʺo mindless woman, understand, (what) I say to you:ʺ
148: umnóžáʾjá umnožù žal͛bu tvojù ʺI will make your suffering greaterʺ
149: ʾi vozdíxanïe tvoe da búde do veka ʺand may you moan foreverʺ
150: ʾi sasь žal͛bu da poródišь čáda ʺand may you give birth to children with sufferingʺ
151: ʾi mužu tvoemu da se povrь´ne žálьba wt srdce tvoè ʺand may the suffering of your heart comes back to your husbandʺ

154: ti poslušà dumu na ženu tvojù ʺyou have obeyed the word of your wifeʺ

158: wt sego dnè prokléta zemlę da bude rábota tvoʾjá ʺfrom this day on, may the ground (of) your work be accursedʺ

184: Kogi poĭde ʾadámь po zemlju ʾwnь pozna. ʾévu ženù svojù če beše začéla u sébe dete as Adam walked the Earth, he found that his wife Eva was pregnant with a child

186: ʾi narékoxa mù ʾime káĭnь and they gave him the name Cain
187: ʾi réče ʾádámь and Adam said:
