15: | i jako dobru mislъ na pametъ svoi privede | and she brought a very good thought to her mind |
16: | i otide u pustinju | and she went to the desert |
17: | i sedeše tamo bez nikakvu grižu | and she sat there without any concern |
18: | tъkmo moleše se bgu | she only prayed to God |
19: | i denъ i noštъ i stoeše na bdenie | and for day and night she stood aware |
20: | i telo to svoe ot stojane sušeše | and her body dried up from the staying (awake) |
21: | i ne videše ona jastia i pitie | and she saw no food nor drink |
22: | no beše noi brašno i gozba slъzi i neprestani mltvi | but tears and perpetual prayers where her flour and feast |
23: | takoi ona na toę stъ životuvaše | thus she lived in this world |
24: | i sama u pustu goru sedeše | and she sat alone on a deserted mountain |
25: | i dobre umъ svoi prosveti | and she enlightened her mind well |
26: | i ni za ednu pečalbu mirsku pomišlъ imaše | and she had no thought of any worldly gain |
27: | tъkmo za bga misleše | she thought merely about God |
28: | i svu nošt po putišta kameni xodeše bosa | and for whole night he went on stony roads barefoot |
30: | i edno vreme vide če ju se približva otxoždenie na nbsa | and one (day) she saw that the departure to Heaven is closing |
31: | i ustavì pustinju | and she left the desert |
32: | i otide u crigrad i stie mesta | and went to Constantinople and the holy places |
33: | poče da obixodi kade i xarekše tamo da sedi | She began to travel about, anywhere she liked, to sit there |
34: | i tamo malko nešto posede | and she sit there for a while |
35: | i predade blaženuju svoju dšu vъ ruce bžii | and gave her blessed soul to the divine hands |
36: | i počestъ i venecъ ot bga uze | and took the honor and laurels from God |
37: | i uluči se u tova vreme | and (thus) happened in this time |
38: | beše umrelъ edinъ člvekъ gemiџię | one man, a sailor, had died |
39: | i bexa go zakopali blizu pri edinъ stlъpъ crkovni | and they buried him close to a pillar of a church |
40: | i tamo smradъ izlazeše ot onja grobъ | and a lot of stench went out of that grave |
41: | nikoi ne možeše da pomine po putъ ot onova telo | nobody could pass by the way because of that body |
42: | i proreče edinъ duxovnikъ | and one priest spoke out: |
43: | tova telo da možete da go izvadite o stlъpo da go pogrebete dlъboko | ʺcould you remove that body from (under) the pillar, and to bury it deeply,ʺ |
