62: ʾi kakvi bíxu tʾia negóvi ʾusta what kind of mouth was that?
63: ʾi kakvo mu se ne svezá ʾjázikь negóvь and how his tongue did not bind itself?
64: ʾi kakvo mu ne isьxnáxu stávi te: and how his bones did not become numb?
65: nь ʾizréče takvíva dúmi but he said such words
66: ʾa evree tè se ne seštaxu što ĭmь sákaše ʾjuda da mu dadútь da mgì predadè xr͒ta And the Jews did not understand, why Judas wanted to betray Jesus to them

68: judo zašto prodavašь xr͒ta ʺo Judas, why do you betray the Christ?ʺ

70: kógi ʾwmi na učeníci te nozé te nali ʾwmi ʾi tvoĭ te ʺwhen He washed the legs of His apostles, did He not wash yours, too?ʺ
71: ʾi ne šte gd͒ь tébe da wtpudi wt dóbrò ʺand will the Lord not drive you away from the good?ʺ
72: ʾa juda níkogo ne sluša kóĭ što mù duma but Judas did not listen to anything anybody told him
73: nó se gótvi da predadé xr͒tà na samrь´tь but he got ready to hand the Christ over to death
74: ʾjudá reče če ne znáe gd͒ь če štè da gò predadè Judas said that the Lord does not know that he will hand over him (Christ)
75: ʾi na večérna ta mu gd͒ь réče and in the evening, the Lord said to him:
76: wmočívi ruku va solílo tóĭ šte mene dá predadè ʺThe one who has dipped his hand into the brine will betray meʺ
77: ʾi ne štejà da mù rečè and He did not want to tell him:
78: stáni wt trapéza móʾja predátelju ʺStand up from my table, traitor!ʺ
79: zašto ne sì dostóenь da edéšь xlébь móĭ sasь méne ʺbecause you are not worthy to eat my bread with meʺ
80: če tì méne predávašь ná samrь´tь ʺas you are handing me over to deathʺ

84: ʾá gd͒a prodáde evréwmь na samrь´tь and you handed the Lord over to death to Jews
85: zatovà káže ʾi pr͒rókь dv͂idь therefore even the prophet David says:
86: vl̃čestvò ʾjudino da zéme drugí ʺpower of Judah will be taken by anotherʺ
87: ʾi u negovь dvórь da né ma níšto žívo ʺmay their court be deserted, devoid of anything aliveʺ

89: ta bí tólko dušmáninь na *a* xíljadi ʾág͂ele ʾi ʾarx͂ggele and thus he became an enemy to one thousand of angels and archangels
90: ʾá edínomu diʾjavolu drágo ljubívь and so dear and beloved only to the Devil
91: ʾi zaradì tíja grošéve ta sè wtluči wt prilíka ʾápos-tol͛ska and because of those groats he left the apostolic fellowship
92: ʾi prïĭde pri bésove and he went to the demons
93: ʾa wt prestola carskago wtlučí se and from the royal throne he excommunicated himself

95: ʾi štéše, sámь sébe da wbési and he was going to hang himself
96: ʾáli da predadé xr͒ta but to hand over Christ?
97: ʾi pakь réče bezakóni ʾjúda na ʾevreé te and then Judas the lawless, said again to the Jews:
98: što mì štéte da ʾi ʾázь vámь da gò predámь ʺwhat would you give me, if I would betray him to you?ʺ
99: ʾá wni mu postávixu céna na *l* srebrenicì and they offered him the price of 30 silver coins
100: w͒ téško tébe ʾjudò woe to you, o Judas!
101: videlo lí se e róbь gp͒dára da prodáva have you ever seen this, a serf selling his master?
102: ʾá júda prodáde xr͒ta za *l* srebreníci but Judas sold the Christ for 30 silver coins
103: ʾw júdo ʾwkaʾjaniče ne vidíš li zaštó e tója gd͒ь naprávilь nb̃ to ʾi zemljú tu Oh, wretched Judas, donʹt you see that this Lord made the heaven and the earth?
104: wx teško tébe judo predatélju woe to you, o Judas the Betrayer!
105: ʾá kogí se wtlúči júda wt prilíka ʾáp͒tolska and when Judas excommunicated himself from the apostolic fellowship

106: ʾi dúmaše and he said:
107: prískrьbna mí è dš̃a ta do samrь´tь. ʺmy soul is sad to the deathʺ

109: ʾá wt samrь´tь ne boéše se gd͒ь but the Lord was not afraid of death

294: ta súdi and he judged

296: tvórecь deto šte da súdi žívi ʾi mrь´tvi the Creator, who will judge the living and the dead
297: ʾá nego predáde ʾjúda nà sudь ʾi na samrьtь and Judas gave Him over to judgement and to death!

299: ta súdi sozdátelja što e sozdálь svičkia st̃ь and he judges the Creator, who had created all the world!

303: ʾá juda se ráduvaše and Judas (Devil?) was glad
304: ʾá žená ta pilátova pušti ʾednà vérna sluga pri múža si but the Pilateʹs wife send a loyal servant to her husband
305: ta mù réče and she said to him:
306: ne déĭ čínì ništo zlo cr̃u tomúva právedniku ʺo king, do not do anything to that righteous manʺ
307: zašto mi na sьnь doĭde u tája nóštь ʺbecause a (vision) came into my dream this nightʺ
308: ʾi mlógo: zlò poteglixь zaradì négo wt bezakónьstvo ʺand I received much evil because of him, because of sinsʺ
309: žená go právednika naréče the woman called him a righteous one
310: ʾá vie go xaĭduka naríčate and you call him a criminal!
311: ʾá ʾjudà kaže pilatu and Judas said to Pilate:

343: koi e tóʾja cr̃ь slávi ʺwho is this King of Glory?ʺ
344: ʾí ag̃geli te rékoxa and the angels said:
345: gd͒ь et͒ь krépkь ʾi silenь na bŏi ʺit is the Lord, mighty and powerful in battleʺ
346: togíva wtgovori adь then Hades answered
347: ʾi reče and he said:
348: ta kogí e gd͒ь zaštó e došélь: tuka ʾá nebó to ʾwstávilь ʺif it is the Lord, why did he come here and left the heavens?ʺ
349: ʾi rekoxu ʾag̃eli te and the angels said:
350: tová e cr̃ь slávi ʺthis is the King of Gloryʺ
351: ta góni tiʾjá štoto mu se ʾwpiratь ʺso he chases those who deny Himʺ

369: ʾi dumaše and he spoke:
370: bráte ʾáde poslušaĭ me ʺo brother Hades, listen to me!ʺ
371: ʾi vrata ta ne ōtváraĭ ʺand do not open the gatesʺ
372: davnó si ʾōtíde ʺmaybe he will go awayʺ
373: potrudí se bráte ʾáde zarad méne ʺpush yourself a bit for me, brother Hadesʺ
374: makárь da smь zasrámenь ʺeven if I am ashamedʺ
375: nь koĭ da sè ne ĭzmámi na takvíva dumi ʺbut who would not be deceived by such words?ʺ

384: ʾá diʾjávolь si licé to déreše:. and the Devil was scratching his face
385: wtgovóri pr͒rokь dv͂ídь Prophet David answered
386: ʾi reče and he spoke:
387: ne déite wttvara vratá ta ʺdo not (?) open the gatesʺ
388: zaštò da sè zbúde moe pr͒róčestvo ʺso that my prophecy will be fulfilledʺ
389: zaštò kogì ʾjá béxь dóle na zemljá ta ta razúmex ʺbecause when I was down there on the earth, I understoodʺ
390: ʾi rekox ʺand I said:ʺ
391: vráta médna: sokrušì ʺHe will crush the copper gateʺ
392: ʾi ključéve želézni slómi ʺand He will break the iron keysʺ
393: ʾi toʾjá čásь se strošíxa vratá ta and in that moment the gate was crushed
394: ʾi ključéve te se slomíxa and the keys were broken too
395: ta sè zbì pr͒róku dvdu dumʾa ta thus the word of Prophet David was fulfilled
396: ʾi reče and (he?) said:
397: gdé ti et͒ь samrь´tь gd͒i ʺwhere is your death, o Lord?ʺ
398: gdé ti et͒ь pobéda bž̃e nš̃ь ʺwhere is your victory, a our God?ʺ
399: ʾi posrešnáxa go. pr͒róci te and the prophets met him
400: ʾi radvat͛ se and they rejoice
401: ʾi pejutь and they sing:
402: bl͂goslovénь grédi vo (ʾime) gd͒ne ʺBlessed is he who comes in the name of the Lordʺ
403: togíva gd͒ь fana diʾjávola then the Lord caught the Devil
404: ta go vrьza u sinџírь da ne wtvrьžénь búde dó veka and He bound him to chains, so that he will not be released in ages
405: ʾá što béxu pravednicì ʾi pr͒róci ʾi añgelí gd͒ni zatvóreni u ʾada ʾá gd͒ь gi ʾizvéde wt ʾadà and the righteous ones, prophets and angels of the Lord, who were closed in (the realm of) Hades, Lord led them out
406: ʾi kaže ʾímь gd͒ь and the Lord said to them:
407: w͒ slugì móĭ míli ʾjá sega va͒ ʾizvádíxь wt ʾadà wt muku večnuju ʺo my dear servants, I released you from Hades, from the eternal tormentʺ
408: ʾidete segà u ráĭ móĭ gdetó e ugotováno za vásь svako dobrò ʺnow, enter my Paradise, where all the good is prepared for youʺ
409: ʾi ʾwnì rékoxu and they said:
410: uvíĭ ʺwoe!ʺ
411: ráduemo se da ĭdemo u ráĭ bž̃ïĭ ʺwe are glad to enter the Paradise of God!ʺ
412: togíva réče cr̃ь ʾi pr͒rok dvdь then the king and prophet David spoke
413: peʾeše he sang
414: ʾi dúmaše na pr͒róci te and he said to the prophets:
415: ʾeláte da se zaradváme (gd͒u) ʾi da vaspeéme. bg͂u. sp͒itélju nášemu ʺcome, let us rejoice for the Lord, and to sing to God, our Saviorʺ
416: zaštó e: cr̃ь: pobedítelь diʾjavolu ʺbecause the King is victorious over the Devilʺ
417: zaradi na͒ ʾáng̃eli wtpeváxu ʾálilúia ʺthe angels sang hallelujah for usʺ
418: ʾi pakь: réče pr͒rókь dvdь and the prophet David said again:
419: svì ljúdie vospleštíte u. ruke ʾi vospevaĭte bg̃u glasь radóstní ʺall the people, clap your hands and sing to the God (with) happy voice!ʺ
420: ʾá pr͒róci vospeváxu alilúĭa .:. and the prophets sang ʺHallelujahʺ

422: radui se dь´šti siʾwnova ʾi ti dь´šti ʾier͒límovà ʺrejoice, o daughter of Zion, and you, o daughter of Jerusalem!ʺ
423: ʾi ʾwblečéte se va pravdu ʺand take on the clothes of righteousnessʺ
424: zaštò cr͂ь ʾi gd͒ь nadvì ʾi pobédì díavola ʺbecause the King and the Lord is victorious, He defeated the Devilʺ
425: ʾi taká se ʾáng͂li ʾi: pr͒roci vesélexa and thus both angels and prophets rejoiced
426: ʾi bg̃a nášego ïis͒a xr͒ta ʾizbavítelja slávexa što e nému prílično čt͒ь ʾi poklonénïe and they celebrated Jesus Christ the Redeemer, to whom it is appropriate to respect and bow to him
427: ʾá judì svi čl͂veci rékoxu but to Judas, all people said:
428: w͒ úme pogáni što sì tolko źloumʾenь ♣ bílь ʺo you heathenish mind, why were you so wicked?ʺ
429: ʾw bezakóniče ʺo you lawless oneʺ
430: w͒ bezčísalni ʾí prókléti ʾjúdo ʺo you uncountably cursed Judas!ʺ
431: ʾw bézьʾóčlívi čl̃veče ʺo you heedless manʺ
432: ʾw´ zločéstniče ne ʾwprósteni ʺo you unforgiven evil oneʺ
433: ʾw judo kŏĭ da sè ne počúdi ʺo Judas, who would not be amazed?ʺ
434: ʾw bezakoníče kóĭ da se ne udívi na tvóe to nedostoin͛stvo ʺo you lawless one, who would not wonder about your worthlessness?ʺ
435: ʾi kóĭ te presilì ʺwho forced you?ʺ
436: ta predáde gd͒a na bzakónï te ʾiudee ʺso that you betrayed the Lord to lawless Jewsʺ
437: ʾi kòi ti réče da stánešь predátelь bg̃u ʾi ubïica ʺwho told you to become a betrayer of God and murderer?ʺ
438: ʾi koja siromašíja ʾimaše na tébe ʺwhich poverty did you have (ʺon youʺ)?ʺ
439: ʾilí gládenь béše júdo ʺwere you hungry, o Judas?ʺ
440: ʾili golotà sramna ʾimaše na tébe ʺor were you shamefully naked (lit. ʺhad shameful nakedness on youʺ)?ʺ
441: ta predáde gd͒a da dobíešь ʾimane ʺso that you betrayed the Lord to gain wealth?ʺ
442: ti ʾjudo nalì nóseše na sví te ʾap͒li dobró to kóĭ što ʾimáše ʺdid you, o Judas, not carry the goods of all the apostles, whatever they had?ʺ
443: náli béše u tvoî te ruke ʺwere they not in your hands?ʺ
444: ʾi ne béše ti níšto ʾwskudno ʺand there was nothing lacking for youʺ
445: nь zašto takà sь´tvori ʺso, why did you do so?ʺ
446: zašto béše lukávь ʾi grьdelívь ʾi zloʾumenь ʾi lákomь ʾi srebròljúbecь ʺbecause you were evil, and arrogant, and wicked, and greedy, and silver-loving!ʺ
447: ti nalì dúmaše lukávi čl͂veče na drugi luge ʺdid you not, o wicked man, tell to other people?ʺ
448: ne ljubéte srebrò ʾi ʾimanïe ʺdo not love silver and wealthʺ
449: ʾá tì predáde: xr͒ta: za ʾimanie ʺbut you betrayed the Christ for wealthʺ
450: kogí si ljubílь ʾimane zaštò xódišь slédь xr͒tà ʺif you loved wealth, why did you follow the Christ?ʺ
451: ʾw´ ʾjudo zášto predáde xr͒tà na raspétie ʺo Judas, why did you give over Christ to crucifixion?ʺ
452: zaštò takà sьtvorì ʺwhy did you do it so?ʺ
453: ʾili ne dáde ʾi tébe síla katò ʾi na ʾwnijà ʾáp͒tle ʺor did he not give you the power like to the other apostles?ʺ
454: ʾili ne ʾiscelévaše bólni ʾi slépi ʾi bésni ʺdid you not heal the ill, the blind, and the mad?ʺ
455: ʾili kóĭ dárь dáde bg̃ь nà ʾwnija ʾáp͒le ʺor which gift did God give to those apostles?ʺ
456: a tébe ne dáde ʺbut He did not give (it) to you?ʺ
457: ʾili ti ne umì x͒s noźe te katò na sví te ʾapl͒i ʺor did not the Christ wash your feet like for all apostles?ʺ

460: vь mésto dobrò ʾá ti mu storì zlo ʺinstead of good, you did evil to himʺ

462: ʾi zašto béše zlòumenь ʾi srebròljúbecь ʾi zavistníkь ʾi grьdelívь ʺand because you were wicked, and silver-loving, and jealous, and arrogant!ʺ
463: wt nadvor se glédašь učénikь ʺfrom outside you look like a followerʺ
464: ʾá vanutre sì bílь diʾjávolь ʺand inside you have been a devil!ʺ
465: ʾi predáde xt̃a bg̃a na raspétie ʺand you gave over the Christ, the God, to crucifixionʺ
466: ʾi raspéxa go ïudée gréšni ʾi bezakóni and the sinful and lawless Jews crucified him
467: no g͒ь takà prótegli but the Lord thus went through it
468: ʾi prie muku na sébe zaradì rod xrístiʾjanski and he accepted the torment because of the nation of Christians
dá ni ʾizbávi wt múku véčnuju so that he frees us from the eternal torment
ʾi da ni spodóbi va ráĭ negóvь ʾi va cr͒tvo nb͒noè and so that he makes us worthy of his Paradise and the Kingdom of Heaven

470: no téško tébe zloumnì ʾi zločet͒i čl͂veče ʾjúdo but woe to you, o Judas, you wicked and honorless man!
