| 51: | tí štešь da záčnešь: ʾi da ródišь sña | ʺyou will conceive and give birth to a sonʺ |

| 62: | zaxaríe ʾjá rékoxь na ženù tvoju da sè čúva | ʺo Zecharieh, I said to your wife to guard herselfʺ |
| 63: | koga ʾidè na lózie da ne edè grózdie ʾi da nè píè víno | ʺmay she not eat grapes and drink wine, when she goes to the vineyardʺ |
| 64: | ʾi reče zaxaría ko ʾag͂elu gd͒nju | and Zechariah said to the angel of Lord: |
| 65: | kakvó e tébe ʾimè | ʺwhat is your name?ʺ |
| 66: | ta ʾako záčne ženà mója sína ʿi níe tébe da proslávime | ʺso that if my wife conceives a son, that we praise you tooʺ |
| 67: | ʾi reče ʾemu ʾag͂elь gd͒nь | and the angel of Lord said to him: |
| 68: | zaštó me pítašь čl̃veče za ʾime móe | ʺo human, why do you ask me for my name?ʺ |
| 69: | ʾi tó e ʾjáko čúdno | ʺit is very miraculousʺ (?) |

| 84: | ʾi reče máti gd͒nja da ʾizbávi rod čl͒večeski | and the mother of Lord said, that (he will?) save the human kind |

| 100: | zaštó se gd͒ь pórodì ʾi st̃i ʾiʾwanь zaradì násь da nì ʾizbávatь wt nevérnici | because (both) Lord and St. John were born to free us from unbelievers |
| 101: | ʾa nïja wt źlь nášь razumь | but we, because of our bad thoughts |
| kogì doĭde nekoi cr͒ki prazníkь | when a royal (church?) feast comes | |
| ʾá nïe ne sme, kadьrь da gò popraznúvame ʾí da sì ʾwdьxneme | we are not able to celebrate it and have a rest | |
| 102: | nelo u práznikь sakame naĭ mlogo da si urábótime | rather, we want to do most of our work during a feast day |
| 103: | ʾá gd͒ь se srь´di na násь | but Lord is angry with us |
| 104: | ta ni xúџe ne dava berekétь na zemljá ta | and thus He does not give abundance to our land |
| 105: | i kogi se ródi ïʾwanь ʾi mt̃i negóva ʾwpovivaše u péleni ʾotróče to | and when John was born, his mother packed the child in diapers |
| 106: | ʾi pítaxu zaxaríju ʾoc͂a ʾiʾwanóva kakvò da mu narečútь ʾime st̃oe | and they asked Zechariah, his father, what will be his holy name |

| 117: | ʾi rukà: gd͒nja béše pri négo | and the hand of the Lord was by him |
| 118: | ʾi zaxaría ʾoc̃ь negóvъ ʾisplь´ni se sasь rádosь | and Zechariah, his father, was filled with joy |

| 120: | bl̃goslovenь gd͒ь bg̃ь móĭ | ʺmay Lord, my God, be praised!ʺ |
| 121: | ʾi ti moe ʾotróče štéšь da se naréčešь pr͒rókь víšnomu ʾocu | ʺand you, my child, will be called as a prophet of the highest Fatherʺ |
