7:	i čuvaše jako dobre onja manastirъ	and he cared for the monastery very well
8:	i na vasaki denъ čineše čudesa	and he performed miracles on every day
9:	i imaše voda pri onja manastirъ	and there was water next to the monastery

11:	ta gledatъ kakvo se čini čudesa na vasaki dnъ	and they watched, how miracles are performed every day

13:	i nagovorixa se da razvalatъ manastiro	and they decided to destroy the monastery
14:	če tamo imaše blizu edna voda zoveše se xrisa	as there was a water nearby, called Chrysa
15:	ta ja obrъnuxa elinci te u manastira da go razvalatъ	so they turned it towards the monastery to destroy it
16:	a bgъ mltivi povele	but the merciful God commanded
17:	ta se obrъnu voda ta na druga strana	and the water turned to another side
18:	ta ostanaxa elinci te posrameni	and thus the pagans were left ashamed
19:	i pak se nagovorixu drugo zlo da učinatъ po golemo	and again they decided to do another evil deed, even worse one
20:	imaše tamo drugi *v* reki	there were other 2 rivers
21:	ta tečexu ot istočna strana	and they flew from the east
22:	edna se zoveše kufa reka	one was called Kufa (?)
23:	a druga koka reka	and the other Koka
24:	tija *v* reki natъkmixa da gi obrъnat na monastira da go porazatъ	they filled these two rivers to turn them on the monastery to raze it
25:	i prokleti elinci ot daleko fanaxa da kopatъ .:.	and the accursed pagans began to dig from afar
26:	iskopaxu vada dlъboka i široka	they digged a deep and wide channel
27:	i bregove golemi napravixu	and they made big shores
28:	i puštixu onaja voda	and they let the water to flow
29:	i poče da teče po vada ta	and the water flowed in the channel
30:	i jako mlogo voda doide	and a lot of water came
31:	približi se pri stago monastira	it came near the monastery
32:	i arъxipa kato vide če doide taja voda zla i golema a onъ se jako zle ouplaši	and Archippus, seeing the evil, big (wave of) water coming, became very afraid
33:	pa togiva pripadnu arъxipъ pri ikonu stomu arъxanъgelu mixailu	and then Archippus fell down to the icon of St. Archangel Michael
34:	i gorъgo priplaka	and he cried bitterly
35:	i reče	and he said:
36:	pomozi mi sti arъxange mixaile i mene grešnomu	ʺHelp me, the sinful one, o St. Archangel Michaelʺ
	da se ne zagubi tvoe ime i tvoja ta crkva	ʺso that your name and your church will not perishʺ
37:	i toja ča javi se arъxanъgelъ arъxipu	and then the Archangel Michael appeared to Archippus
38:	i drъži u ruku svoju mъčъ	and he held a sword in his hand
39:	i reče	and he said:
40:	ne boi se arъxipe	ʺhave no fear, o Archippusʺ
41:	tъkmo vervai	ʺjust have faithʺ
42:	pa izleze arъxanъgelъ togiva izъ monastiro	then the archangel went out of the monastery
43:	ta padnu gore na nebo to crъkovno	and he fell upwards to the heaven (dome?) of the church
44:	i vide arъxangelъ i samъ če približi voda ta	and the archangel himself saw that the water was closing in
	da vlezne u monastiro da go razvali	(threatening) to enter the monastery and to destroy it
45:	togiva arъxanъgelъ dignu mъčъ strašno i naprasno	then the archangel raised his sword terribly and suddenly
46:	ta udari kamikъ što beše monastiro zazidanъ na nego	and he struck the stone, on which the monastery was built
47:	ta go provali edinъ ča	and he broke it in one moment
48:	ta zbra i dve te reki onaja propasъ	and that abyss (made by the strike) collected the both rivers
49:	i minuxa onija *v* reki dole dъlboko podъ monastira	and both those two rivers passed deep down beneath the monastery
50:	i ne povredi se ničto na monastiro	and nothing was damaged in the monastery
51:	nelo prominu dlъboko dole pod zemii	because (the water) passed deep down beneath the earth
52:	togiva vidoxu onia elinъci kakvo se mlogo čudesa napravi ot stago arъxistratiga mixaila	then those pagans saw, what many miracles were done by the Archistratēgos Michael
53:	i oni svi što bexu u onja grad svi poveruvaxu vo ime xrtovo i stago arъxanъgela	and all who were in that city started to believe in the name of Christ and the saint archangel
54:	i pokrtixu se svi što bexu tamo	and all of them there baptized themselves
	i mali i veliki i ženi i deca	both small and great, women and children alike
55:	i veruvaju čtni krtъ i do dnesъ	and they believe (in) the True Cross (?) until today
56:	takoi se spi i arъxipa sasъ božiemъ poveleniemъ	thus was Archippus saved with the divine will
