| 79: | javixa se predъ momъka togo kato dva orla zlatokrilъni | They appeared to this boy as two gold-winged eagles |
| 80: | edinъ časъ go izvadixa iz dno iz more t | Once they took him out from the bottom of the sea |

| 103: | što se boišъ o čedo | ʺWhat are you afraid of, o child?ʺ |
| 104: | stori krtъ na sebe | ʺcross yourselfʺ |
| 105: | i vlezni bezъ straxъ | ʺand enter without fearʺ |
| 106: | i pa reče kanъdilarъ | And then the lamplighter said: |
| 107: | ne smeju oče da vleznemъ | ʺI do not dare to enter, o fatherʺ |
| 108: | kato ču igumenъ .:. treti putъ a onъ poide | As the abbot heard (it) the third time, he went |
| 109: | i kandilaro po nego | And the lamplighter (went) with him |
| 110: | ta vleznaxu u manastiro | and they entered the monastery |
| 111: | togiva vide i samъ igumenъ če istina leži onja momъkъ na sred monastira | Then even the abbot saw that the boy was really lying in the middle of the monastery |

| 131: | i na jutre pušti igumenъ na skele to za onia kalugere | In the morning, the abbot sent (someone) for these monks to the scaffold |
| 132: | ta doidoxa i troica ta | and the three came |
| 133: | i reče imъ igumenъ | And the abbot told them: |
| 134: | što storixte oci za onova imenie | ʺwhat did you do, o fathers, with that wealth?ʺ |
| 135: | i oni rekoxa igumenu | And they said to the abbot: |
| 136: | lъža e bilo vldko za tova | ʺIt was a lie, o lordʺ |
| 137: | tъkmo ni se prismeja momъko | ʺThe boy just laughed at usʺ |
| 138: | a nie go priѱuvaxme i priplašixme | ʺAnd so we cursed and scared him a bitʺ |
| 139: | a onъ pobegna ot nasъ | ʺAnd he ran away from usʺ |
| 140: | i reče imъ igumenъ | and the abbot said to them: |
| 141: | slava tebe xrte bže | ʺGlory be to you, o Christ the God!ʺ |

| 147: | togiva imъ reče igumenъ | then the abbot said to them: |
| 148: | źle vamъ | ʺwoe to youʺ |
| 149: | i gorko prelъsti vi diavolъ da otpadnete ot slavu bžiju | ʺthe Devil has seduced you bitterly to fall off the divine gloryʺ |
| 150: | i uplašixa se źle onija kalugere | And these monks got scared |
| 151: | i donesoxa svičko to imenie u manastirъ | And they brought all the wealth to the monastery |
| 152: | togiva gi igumenъ propudi iz monastirъ | And then the abbot expelled them from the monastery |
| 153: | i pobegnuxa u ne znani strani | And they ran away to unknown countries |
| 154: | a onja momъkъ stanu kalugerъ na onova mesto | And that boy became a monk in this place |
| 155: | i mlogo slavu vozъisila bgu | and he gave much glory to God |
| i ocu i snu i stomu dxu | to Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit | |
