 | скоро призове́те ми́, ҆идол͛ски попо́ве | ʺsummon me the priests of the idol soon!ʺ |
 | ҆и рече ҆имь цр҃ь | and the king said to them: |
 | прáво дá ми кáжете | ʺtell me trulyʺ |
 | коѝ ҆едѐ ти́҆ꙗ́ го́зби | ʺwho eats that food?ʺ |

 | та изедоха све що бе́ше прине́сено вилꙋ бг҃ꙋ | and thus they ate everything brought to the god Bel |
 | ҆и пакь си рáно ҆отидо́ха да гѝ никой не ви́де | and they went away again in the morning, so that no one sees them |
 | ҆и за ꙋ́тра рáно стáнꙋ цр҃ь | and the king woke up early in the morning |
